About Diddl Mouse

Origin and Development:
Birthday: August 24, 1990, Thomas Goletz drew the very first sketches of the Character.
There was no name yet, and it was not a Jerboa (Springmaus) yet either. It was meant to be a Kangaroo with overalls. Kangaroos have such nice big feet. After the first few sketches Thomas found his Kangaroo too big. It had to be smaller, handier, and cuddlier. The Jerboa was born. It also had big feet and overalls. It was also much smaller and more suited to be applied to other products.

While Thomas was working on his sketches, the name "Diddl" came to mind all of a sudden. It seemed fitting for his character, and that is how Diddl got his name.

Special and Unique:
Diddl Mouse is the biggest art-based Character in the world. His fans are of all age groups. The majority of fans are females.

The Character "Diddl" symbolizes friendship, loving, caring, and sharing. The products are top quality. Diddl is cuddly, sweet to look at, adorable, collectible, and within one's means.

Diddl Mouse sponsors many contests in Europe, which can be an essay, creativity, or a science related. He indirectly furthers reading, writing, creativity, and thinking.

Trade Marks:
Big feet, slender body, a long tail, big ears, bright eyes, 3 strands of hair, and an adorable face—that is Diddl. The endearing and cheerful qualities of this cheeky, big-footed little mouse dressed in vibrantly colored cloths ensure immediate admiration.

Diddl Mouse made his first appearances on 48 greeting cards. Diddl’s sentiments expressed heartfelt joy, sorrow, and a whole gambit of emotions. The cute, lovable, adorable, sweet, but somewhat sassy sentiments ensured instant success.

The greeting cards were such a big success that it took only a short time for the first plush Diddl Mouse to appear. From there evolved a huge product line of more than 2,500 different products. Diddl products reached the number-one position on the European Market.

There are things to hug, to play with, to drink from, to save in, to look at, to write and draw with. The Diddl Mouse Character’s huge illustrated stationary line may be the motivational tool to stimulate the imagination and inspire to put one's thoughts and ideas to paper.
