I'm WolfSinger, faithful sidekick to Pisces, our lovely, humorous, highly intelligent Group Owner.( for Pisces!).
I live in Canada , I'm a writer (trying to be, anyway!), I'm a proud grandmother of one, and I'm interested in the paranormal and unexplained (ghosts, etc.).
When I'm not busy trying to keep up with all of my Care2 groups, I moderate a group called the GhostZone Forum at Ghosts and Spirits
All in all, I have to say I'm one busy little !! But oh, I do sooo love the challenge of it all!
Thank you for the invitation here I am also a Canadian and I love to figure out and try to solve the mysteries of live and just about anything unexplained . I look forward to getting to know all the group members.
"it's a mystery" was repeated over and over in one of my favourite movies! "shakespeare in love". and i am happy to join a group that likes a *good* mystery.
the nightsky, woodpecker's knowledge-acquired from inside the old poplar tree, what the crow tells.....all mysteries!
what is a mystery? something that cannot be explained by the means of our present knowledge. At one time the workings of the human body were a mystery, now, advances in medical, biological and related sciences have explained away most of that mystery. So, as man 'advances' his exploration of knowledge will there be any unexplained misteries left. I should hope so, because without an element of mystery what is left for man to live for. It is his insatiable quest to seek answers to his unbridled curiosity that makes him what he is - an explorer, adventurer and seeker of knowledge.
So - this seeker of knowledge is curiously enquiring 'what goes on in this group'? what delectable mysteries are to investigate here?
In this group, we discuss mysteries such as the Bermuda Triangle, the Shroud of Turin, Aliens - anything that has, to date, been 'unsolved' in our world is regarded as a mystery.
We put forward our ideas and/or theories on world mysteries, looking to find possible answers to the topics we question.
I received notice of this group in my 'messages' and out of curosity came here ~ it is great! I have been fascinated about all your various topics, all my life
I cannot wait to read everything you folks have posted! Oh, I shall thoroughly cherish these readings ~ thank you very much!

Ahhhh, another Seeker! February 25, 2005 12:34 PM
Virginia! Glad you're having fun here. We're all just a little bit loopy, so you're more than welcome to join us. As I said to someone else who joined, "You don't have to be crazy to be here, but it does help!"
Hey I found my home! If you have to be certifiable to be here than I am indeed at home. I am always trying to figure things out. I love to investigate where a lot of people tend to just believe what they have been told and go on. Being a deep thinker I have a wonderful playground in my mind in which to try out all sorts of senarios. Some have called me crazy...but that is ok......if this is crazy I don't want to be sane! lol
Debra! So, you're certifiable, eh? KEWL! We're all just a bit loony, ourselves, so yeah, you'll fit right in!
Have fun, post your opinions on topics of interest to you, start a new thread about a topic we haven't discussed - whatever you want! As long as we're not discussing politics (which is a mystery all in itself! ) it's kewl! 'Cuz I'm ya see, which means I'm seriously outnumbered! And I DON'T wanna get myself in any trouble with our lovely and intelligent Host!
A group that researches areas, that I thought only I was interested in! Cool. BTW, I'm HealingBear. Kinda new, and been posting a lot around Care2. Finally found time to research the over 2000 groups!

Welcome March 16, 2005 5:49 PM
HealingBear!
You've been really busy! Over 2000 groups - that's a whole lot of researching!
We hope you'll have a good time here, then, because we've got A LOT of different topics to read and enjoy. I'll warn you, though: We can sometimes get pretty silly around here, so a good sense of humor is an absolute MUST!
OK I am finally introducing myself. I am a bit backwards. Post first; introduce later. There is a mystery: who is this wacko posting?
I am in Cincinnati, Ohio in the US. I am 51, disabled, married again since last July to a terrific man. He is disabled and fighting bladder cancer for over a year.
I am perennially curious about everything since early childhood. Comes of Mama failing to tell me to shut up and stop asking questions. She tried to answer them all. LOL. I must have aged her prematurely. Like when I put my finger up into an old fashioned soap grinder in a restroom when I was 5 to understand how it worked, and started to grind my finger. Thankfully, I didn't lose it!
So I am eager to learn about any mystery. May have some unusual views....
Hi, Pisces. I made it - finally... I'm new to Care2 Connect, thanks to Pisces and a few other friends of mine. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone (I really like these funny emoticons!) and I hope to be able to contribute SOMEthing of interest here.
Pisces, my sweet lady, when was the last time "FATE" intervened on your behalf? (Inside joke, everyone. Sorry; it's between me and Pisces)
Yes, Im afraid it is true... Wolf-Singer is leaving us Strange timing that you showed up the same day... maybe she's trying to get away from... YOU? j/k

Very funny, Pisces! Wolf Singer and I are attached at the hip, I swear We've known each other all our lives... I wonder why she would want to get away from me???
Well, if you've been attached to her hip all her life, I can see why she would want to get away from you!

Very funny, Pisces
She can't get away from me - that's the beauty of our relationship! If she tried, she just wouldn't feel right, and both she and I know it. And let's not forget that there are times when I wish I could get away from her, too...
Debi. Please feel free to explore our many topics of interest and discussion, or, if you want, you can start a thread of your own about something if you haven't seen it posted here already.
to the group! There's lots of subjects to discuss here, so feel free to peruse the many threads available for discussion! Pisces, our awesome Host, is totally wonderful - and she has a terrific sense of humor, to boot. I'm sure you'll get as much of a kick out of her as I and the rest of the group does. Have fun!
Wolf-Singer You're actually the one who got this group going!

Who, me? April 01, 2005 11:52 PM
No, no, Pisces, it was not I who got it going, it was actually ALL OF US who got it going. But it was YOU, my beloved friend, who conceived of the idea and then gave it life. And for that, we should all be very thankful!
Hi! I'm Caitlin(as you can see) and I'm incredibly interested in the mysteries of life.. I wonder if you guys can help me out..

Maria & Andy!!! Thanks for joining us! I hope to see more of you around the group!
lol Andy... We should start a thread on missing minds! Now, theres a mystery!
We need to go dig out some of the older threads, now that we have more investigators on board like the Bermuda Triangle, Atlantis, ghosts, etc... & please feel free to start new threads for mysteries we havent covered yet
I have been a member for some time just haven't posted. Got the flu right after joining. Hello to everyone. I love mysteries.

A comment to the group hosts: thankfully the dialog text is still black on white during discussions but I find it VERY difficult to read the topics of discussion as the background is darker than the text on which it is printed. This colour text/background is very difficult (and sometimes damaging) for people with reading difficulties or sight problems, and also very difficult for some people with dyslexia to read. (Or those with old computer screens with low resolutions!)
If you don't want to exclude people from your group who are also interested in mysteries but don't have the eye strength to read the topics of discussion, please consider making the text/background of the group more constrasted, and therefore easier to read . . . Thank you!
