We have to act fast. In less than a week, the Obama administration will finalize the National Alzheimer's Plan, and we need to make sure they go bold. This is our chance to set the nation on a path to stopping Alzheimer's – to end the heartache of this cruel disease for good. We can't miss out on this historic opportunity.
That's why Congress must support a resolution in favor of a strong National Alzheimer's Plan now, while the final decisions are still being made. There are only a few more days until the Department of Health and Human Services (HH will release the definitive plan – and what members of Congress say and do before then could greatly influence HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
Your elected officials won't sign on to S. Res. 434 / H. Con. Res. 120 unless you ask. For years, it seemed like no one was paying attention to the plight of the millions affected by this disease. We can't afford to stay silent and miss this opportunity.
Noted and forwarded not signed (US only). Thank you Donna.
