Here is  the story on the importance of this one:

I know that sounds like a crazy story, unlikely .. but it's all  painfully tru and I can prove!

The days passed, before long my petition will be removed and this was one of the few opportunities I had to give visibility to my story and get a minimum of justice.
If you could spread it among your friends I would be very grateful.
I will not bore you if I had not really DESPERATE!

You may also advise sites or blogs with which I could spread this story?

Thank you very much and I apologize, I'm sorry to annoy, I would not if I had other opportunities to try to feel a bit 'better, try a little' less pain ..
Thanks     Carla

ONE MORE FROM A FRIEND

My Friends, would you please consider signing this petition to gain healthcare for those that were exposed to contaminated water at Camp LeJune and even though the military was aware of the problem it was covered up. It is so sad that we have to have petitions to force our military and our government to do what is right but hopefully with enough signatures we can do just that. I am enclosing a part of the petition for you to read and I am also enclosing a link to the petition at the bottom of the page. Thank you all for everything you do to make this world a better place.
Edwin

What happened at Camp Lejeune is one the worst cases of drinking water contamination in American history. Nearly 1 million people drank, bathed, and cooked with the base's water for three decades.

When the Marine Corps learned about the poisoned water in the early 80s, federal law required them to clean it up. But the Marine Corps failed to tell the truth about the contamination until the late 90s, and even then only told part of the truth. Sadly, many who were stationed at Camp Lejeune still don't know why they were ill -- or don't know how vigilant they must be now about their health.

It has taken years to expose the truth, and the Marine Corps has fought transparency at every turn -- delaying funding for health studies, withholding key documents and failing to disclose the true extent of the contamination to the public, the media, and Congress until forced to do so.

I have appealed to Marine Corps leadership to make things right for the families who have suffered, and I have testified before Congress asking for transparency and medical help for those who are now ill. The stories of families like mine have been documented in the film Semper Fi: Always Faithful. You can learn more about what happened here: www.tftptf.com.

Thousands of people who were poisoned at Camp Lejeune are struggling without access to the medical care they need. It's time for the U.S. government to provide the people who are still suffering the effects of the toxic water at Camp Lejeune with health care. We volunteered to serve and protect our nation...we never volunteered to be poisoned by our own leaders!

Thanx Sandra=here are some from force change...

Please help us force change for these important causes:

Stop Needlessly Testing Tobacco Products On Animals. Tobacco companies cruelly test their products on animals by forcing them to smoke mass amounts of cigarettes through masks and tubes, only to kill these animals and use their damaged organs for research purposes. Tell the FDA that this research is inhumane and unnecessary, and animals should not have to pay for tobacco companies looking to deny smoking's well-established link to cancer.

Demand Investigation of Sexual Assaults at Female Prison. After more than 50 interviews with women incarcerated at a prison in Alabama, reports of rape and sexual assault by the guards surfaced. It turns out, male guards have been sexually assaulting women at Tutwiler Prison in Alabama for years. The U.S. Department of Justice must investigate these crimes.

Discourage the Consumption of Bottled Water. The market for bottled water is exceedingly high: $7.7 billion was spent on bottled water in 2007 alone. Bottled water is not safer or healthier than tap water, and it is certainly not as friendly for our environment. We must implement strategies that deter bottled water consumption at home, in the workplace, and in the community.

Protect Endangered Beluga Whales from Harmful Oil Exploration. Recently, a lawsuit was filed to prevent further oil exploration in Alaska's Cook Inlet in an effort to protect the endangered beluga whale population. The methods used in oil exploration present a deadly obstacle to the survival of the beluga whales and must be stopped.

To support these important causes, please sign each petition, share your opinion by leaving a comment, and help us force change!
