This is a cruel and disgusting practice. It should be banned. Although, the elephant abusers, called handlers and trainers, would find some other way to abuse, oh, train, them. Only until we ban the use of wild animals in circuses and sideshows will the wild animal abuse decline. What a sad life for such an intelligent and social animal.
