Obama, Feinstein and the rest of the Democrat-Socialists, like Reid and Cuomo, are literally causing a constitutional crisis now with their gun ban threats and actual passage of tyrannical new laws, in the case of New York!
I don't know how many of them actually realize, just how much they've just infuriated the majority of American voters!
I saw a TV segment this past week about a big gun shop and range that usually does amillion dollars a month in business. Now they are doing a million dollars a week!
Now I need to alert everyone to a situation here in Colorado, and I'm sure elsewhere too.
Due to panic and massively high volumes of gun sales, I found out today that background checks are now taking 8-10 days here in Colorado!
I asked a guy at the gun shop today; What if someone has had their life threatened and needs a gun right now?!
"Still gotta wait 8-10 days", he replied.
This sent a shiver up my spine, having known other women who had been threatened by violent ex-husbands and boy friends!
I said; But they told us that this would be an "instant check" system. NICS ( National Instant Check System ), right?
He shrugged and said sarcastically; Well it's "safer" this way, right?
We were sold a bill of bull on this "instant check" system, and our state has neverreally had "instant" checks. They used to run 30 minutes to 2 hours, and are now running 8-10 days! This democratically-controlled state has never put the manpower needed into doing them "instantly". I heard that they started out doing them, when we got our concealed carry in 2003, with just one person running them, therefore delaying and denying people their human rights to self defense!
What part of "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" don't they understand?!
They've apparently been dragging their feet as a way of harassing gun owners out of their ability to exercise their human rights. ( Please don't fall for the term "gun rights", and don't use it! It glosses over the fact that guns don't have rights, only people do! These are human rights, not "gun rights"! )
Folks, this is what's happening now, just from a panic being caused by tyrants and theirtyrannical anti-human-rights laws. What would happen if the country were suddenly thrown into a really major crisis, like for example if the power was knocked out for a year or two and we were attacked internally by the Iranians? People in states like California would have "waiting periods" to buy guns, and "instant" checks might start taking months?
My only comfort, personally, is that most of us who appreciate our Constitution and our human rights, are already armed and stocked with ammunition, and that the very people who have been advocating these tyrannical laws against our Constitution, are most often the ones who are not. But everyone has these rights, whether we agree politically with them or not. These rights are universal and all people have them, whether or not tyrants in various places recognize them or not.
It gives me no comfort that a mother who may have been an anti-gun liberal in the past, might suddenly find herself in danger and helpless, because of the very laws she helped create, and though she might now be won over to seeing our point of view, she might also be killed, because of the bad choices that she and her political factions made.
This just illustrates that human rights should never be subject to compromise, not one bit! They belong to all of us, all the time, and anyone who violates them is a tyrant!
Quote these things to the tyran
Quote these things to the tyrants!:
"The Constitution is either a superior, paramount law, unchangeable by ordinary means, or it is on a level with ordinary legislative acts and, like other acts, is alterable when the legislature shall please to alter it. If the former part of the alternative be true, then a legislative act contrary to the Constitution is not law; if the latter part be true, then written constitutions are absurd attempts, on the part of the people, to limit a power in its own nature illimitable." Thus, the Constitution is either The Supreme Law of the Land, superceding all other laws, or the Constitution is a worthless piece of paper. If the latter, government can do as it pleases. If the former, tyrants have seized sovereignty illegally, it is the duty of the people to put them in their proper place in history. - Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Marshall - 1803
2 This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any thing in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding.
No tyrant can rightfully make any law that violates the U.S. Constitution, on the federal or state level! If it violates the Constitution, it is null and void and not a law!
