Unconstitutional State of the Union
The news media is in a frenzy over the occupant of the Oval Office's first second term State of the Union message. They are parroting the White House extreme leftist agenda of disarming the public, taxing Americans for the scientifically disproved concept of global warming, more government spending to stimulate the economy, allowing illegal aliens citizenship, and a continuing of the nation building overseas that favors the prophetic establishment of an Islamic Caliphate. All things on this agenda are unconstitutional--all of them. The founders established the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. Office holders swear to uphold it as such. Extremists are debasing it rather than defending it.
The Constitution frames a limited government with specific enumerated powers. Somewhere along the line, Americans allowed the acid drip of extremism to enter into government. Now the cracks of the Republic have grown bigger and deeper culminating in the most radical and extreme leftist government in the history of the nation. The extremist socialist president is supported by just as radical of a Congress with few reasonable members who seem to compromise instead of standing on principle. The US Supreme Court is also a den of no shows when it comes to the Constitution--they are fixated on reading previous decisions rather than the Constitution to determine constitutionality.
We need a paradigm shift--one back to every American reading the Constitution in its entirety and having an understanding of it. I have met many people who do not even know the Bill of Rights or why they are necessary. If the American people understood the Biblical underpinnings of the Constitution, they would know that the majority of those serving in the three branches of government ought to be impeached for their unconstitutional actions. I say "impeached" because as Christians we are to overcome evil with good. If we have a say in our government and it is straying far from the principles by which we are commanded to live, we ought to do something about it.
Peter and the other apostles were told they were not allowed to preach Jesus by the ruling Sadducees. In Acts 5:29 they responded, "We ought to obey God rather than men." Men will say that they refuse to hear. Exercise your right to free speech. Men will say that with the politics of the situation, it is impossible to change it. The Bible says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ witch strengthens me." Men will say that the nation is too far gone and nothing will turn it around. Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, "With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." Have we separated church and state so much that we have thrown what is possible to the ground? The result: Our nation becomes not only unconstitutional but unGodly.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
