I still haven't heard it yet, thank God.
Firefox, no script, ad block plus, ghostery
I'm using Google Chrome (much better, faster than Firefox); I dunno know how to work that magic you work Mary, and I think Christian too
JUST GOOGLE THE ADD ONS. Sorry bout the caps'
I don't get it either......not sure why!!!
I find with no script and ghostery that if you go in and "forbid" anything that is not page essential--block all the analytics and clicking and stat counting cr*p, you wind up with a very peasant non irritating page and do not ever get targeted ads. Sometimes you get no ads at all. I hardly have to use ad block because of the other two. And it is fun to experiment around with. If you absolutely need an app to play the video etc, you can "temprarily" allow that but only for that session on that page. It is pretty neat.
Oh, Edward, thank you!
I googled 'google chrome adblock', found the free download and I was ad free in about 30 seconds (it also installs on your browser, if you want, a toggle to turn it off and on) Awesome!
Thank you, thank you, thank you Edward. Katii just downloaded the adblock for me on my lappy and it is SPECTACULAR!!! What a relief ...
I didn't do nuthin! I think google deserves a little credit- that's how I found them....
