Why is it that there haven't been any new Lab's (to check Davi's Anemia L
After the initial story about Wilson and Davi was published one week ago, a Brazilian lawyer intervened on behalf of Davi. That woman, Denise Panisio, set out to verify the information from the international group of sponsors who hoped to help Davi be seen by a specialist.
Panisio contacted the veterinary hospital, verified that the veterinarians were willing and able to take Davi into their facility, negotiated with "Wilson," and arranged for a dog taxi to pick Davi up.
Unfortunately, Davi's "rescuer," failed to cooperate and cut off ties with the law firm causing them to regretfully step back from the situation.
Passionate Wilson defenders accused the people who tried to secure specialized care for the dog of being dishonest.
They tried to allege that Wilson had nothing to do with the fundraising, and that he was in no way tied to the Facebook page which was established to help Davi receive care.
The individuals who established the page for Davi were able to produce correspondence between Wilson and their group which showed that he was not only an administrator on the page, but also, evidence which showed that he wanted their help for raising funds for Davi's care.
I also reached out to Wilson for his explanation as to why he had refused to take Davi to the specialist.
His response (as translated by Google) last Saturday:
DAVI BEING IN VETERINARY CARE YES. SPREAD THIS INFORMATION ABOUT ME IS FAKE. I HOPE ONE DAY YOU MAY COME TO BRAZIL AND VISIT ALL MY CHILDREN. TODAY DAY SEPTEMBER 29 DAVID UNTIL THE CLINIC WAS WHERE WAS RELEASED AND MEDICATED, GAVE HER VETERINARIAN a report SAYING THAT NOT NEEDED HOSPITAL. NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THAT PERSON OUT OF BRAZIL DID THIS TO ME. MONEY NEVER WON OVER CRITTER IS NOT NOW THAT WILL MAKE IT. DAVID ARE LOVED AND IS GAINING WEIGHT EVERY DAY. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ME IT CAN SEND MESSAGE.

Hi Everyone! I'm writing to you because I have Concerns about the Rep that the WSPA (Brazil Division) is sending over to check on Davi. We were told that she was going there Friday to check on Davi. We've still not heard anything back from her. Furthermore, she told us that she knows Wilson & is a Friend of his! I have GREAT CONCERNS about this! Sending someone over who knows "Wilson" & is also a
friend of his is very Inappropriate & Unprofessional in my eyes.
The other Administrator's may not feel this way, but I'm voicing my personal Concerns about it to the People of the World. I feel that because of the Circumstances, another WSPA (who is not a friend of "Wilson's" should be sent over there. I am at a loss for words, and can't believe that a friend of Wilson's is being sent over to check on the man that we want Investigated. This makes me Extremely Uncomfortable. I contacted a man today from the "Animal Welfare Coalition" to see if he could help us with "Davi" & this situation. He's unfamiliar with Wilson, and is not a friend of his. Thank you.
Something about this situation really bothers me,is all of this even true...I am starting to wonder??
I'm puzzled, too. Petiton signed. Thank you Dianne!
Signed Dianne. I hope Davi is not dead yet...
Thanks Dianne and Gabriele.
I lost the thread of this story, also completely.
Stay in God's peace!
As said earlier, Dianne, the help he received was only people even here in Brazil, the same as always help with the rescues he does ... Help from abroad, he did not receive ... I'm really sorry if people who donated to such Daniela Thor were deceived. I advise them to seek and take satisfaction in itself, after all, until she posted the account was hers. Because of all this confusion, and before all the help he received from here (Brazil), he does not need your help, but so will send, when considered appropriate, the video with David healed. Do not give satisfaction to the people outside (and why would not the reasons reported), but rather to give a moral lesson to all those who criticized him without knowing it and without knowing the truth. Unfortunately the internet has brought many good things, but there's always those who make smart to fool people of good character. This is what happened with outsiders. Wait and you will see David healed, ready for adoption (vaccinated, neutered and vermifugado, obviously).
The wound cannot be seen in the photos...And yes, her tone is accusing! All we wanted is to help this poor dog in pain. If they gave us correct infos in time, there wouldn't be such un uproar about Davi
Thanks for the info Dianne
I am in complete agreement with Monika. Thank you Dianne for the updates.
Finally, what may be some good news from Davi's fb page on 10/9........
Horribly Disfigured Dog (Davi) in Need of Emergency Treatment wrote: "I have Great News!!!
The Rep from the WSPA (Brazil Division) has now been to "Wilson's" house! And guess what? They're on OUR SIDE! The Conditions in that place are not good for Davi! The WSPA will now be working closely with us. They ALSO want Davi removed from there, and HOSPITALIZED (where he can be under the Care of a Veterinary Surgeon)!
This Vet that does home visits was asked by the WSPA
Rep, "Why isn't Davi Hospitalized?!". The Vet's Response? Because Davi needs to be here at home where he is Loved. What a crock of %#&!*%! What kind of Vet is this woman???? Also, Wilson WOULDN'T ALLOW the WSPA Rep to take pics of "Davi's" wounds! Why is that do you think?????
Davi's Case is now being overseen by the WSPA, since viewing the horrible condition that Davi's wounds are in. He is also not gaining weight like he should be after 1 months time. I will post more updates, as I have them. Unfortunately, there are some things I can not discuss (per WSPA Rep's Statement). Wilson is Oficially now under INVESTIGATION."
This is what it says:
The story of King David
Well a while ago I went to the market and butcher shop market noticed my shirt which had photo of an angel (before and after) and beside her a question: "I am protector! And you?"
He promptly called me, I went up to him and he had a dog that comtou full of tumors from a river.
I took the address of the place and went looking for the dog. So that before he asked the number from my phone.
Arriving on the scene unfortunately not found the angel in the river.
I returned to the market and there was not a dog to be found.
I continued to make my purchases.
Two months later, I answered the phone and a woman's voice says this number was given to her husband who worked in a butcher shop.
Then she loudly asked me please help me.
There is a pitbull in a thicket in a makeshift hut which is lacking a good part of her ass.
I grabbed the phone and the address of hers.
I called my friend Lucilia Martins and she promptly answered me.
Along with my sister Katia we went to the location using a GPS cell phone.
Thank God we reached our destination.
The first image I saw is engraved in my memory.
I saw an angel completely helpless, his face showed permanent sadness, thin and with a very large wound.
On his whole body I saw bite marks.
This told us that he was bought as a puppy in PetShop and its previous owner dropped it after he lost a fight in a ring of dogs.
At that time I lost the senses of the body.
And my heart took hold of my actions.
I rescued the angel and gave him the name of David.
Many have asked me why this name and I promptly say: "From what I know of the story of David, he was simple, fragile and became a King!"
David was rescued on September 20, 2012 and was the very next week at home assisted by Dr Izabela Berbert and the following week was attended by two veterinarians.
They found that he has anemia, but is recovering very well.
He loves to play with anyone who comes to visit him.
