Justice for Justice!
'
start date: Nov. 26

'

Justice lay for 5 days in the hot sun. He couldnt move because of his injuries he sustained from the other dog on the property. For 5 days his owners did nothing but walk passed him and pretend he wasnt there crying in agony. No food, no water. Maggots and flies eating him alive from his injuries right down to the bone. All it would have taken is a short phone call to the nearest SPCA or vet to save this innocent boy. But no, the "family" wouldnt even do that! Justice was saved and shown love in the last few hours of his life by angels. Sign this petition so I can send it to the mayor of Cape Town and show her that animal lovers want to see this "family" behind bars! We are sick of people getting away with a slap on the wrist. PLEASE SIGN!

I can't even comment I am so bloody angry. These evil scum should be beaten to death, why should they still be allowed to be on this earth.

Update: Wednesday's Hearing in Justice's case

'

Subject: Wed., Dec. 19 - 9 a.m.: Hearing in Justice's case; please attend if you can.
Importance: High

'

A hearing in the animal cruelty case of Justice, the puppy set on fire in Dallas earlier this year, is set for Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 9 a.m. in the 292nd District Court on the 6th floor of the Frank Crowley Courts Building, 133 N. Riverfront Blvd. in Dallas.

The hearing will determine whether the four defendants—Adrian Ayers, Darius Carey, Darius Ewing and Richard Valentine—will be tried separately or in a joint trial.

It’s expected that all four defendants will appear with their attorneys and that the judge, the Hon. Larry Mitchell, will take some live testimony.

* Please attend if you can to show your support of the Dallas County District Attorney’s fight against animal cruelty and to send the message that animal cruelty will not be tolerated. *

TIPS FOR ATTENDING A TRIAL OR HEARING AT THE FRAN K CROWLEY COURTS BUILDING: The building is cash only for parking, cafeteria and snack machines. Parking is $6 cash in two parking garages adjacent to the Courts building, and there are several lots across the street. Dress is business attire, and no clothing or badges with slogans are allowed in the courtroom. Also, no cameras (other than cell/smartphones), nail files or spray bottles (i.e., hair spray) are allowed in the building.

Thanks for caring,

Continued UPDATE

'

Judge Larry Mitchell denied the defense attorneys’ motions to sever; therefore, all four defendants will stand trial together. The defendants were in the courtroom, and were led back to jail after the hearing. The trial is tentatively set for January 28, 2013, but as often happens, this date could change.

Five TV stations and The Dallas Morning News, along with other media, were in the courtroom to cover the hearing, and KRLD, WBAP and KERA also did stories. We are successfully getting the word out about animal cruelty and the fact that it will be investigated and prosec uted to the full extent of the law.

I’ll keep you posted, and check the Texas Humane Alliance Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/TexasHumaneAlliance) for updates on Justice’s case and other cases of animal cruelty.

Thanks for caring,

Jonnie

I appreciate the update. Please keep us posted on the trial for the murderers of the dog in Cape Town. Also, please refer to the story I posted on the torturerer/murderer of Baby Doe, St. Bernard Pup. Preston Odle is back in jail for killing a deer illegally several days ago and will face the same judge that gave him a slap on the wrist for the torture and murder of Doe. Is justice every truly served in these cases? For me, the answer is a resounding "NO." Michelle
