Question: What about the Republicans saying that you're blaming the Europeans for the failures of your own policies?

President Obama: The truth of the matter is that, as I said, we created 4.3 million jobs over the last 27 months, over 800,000 just this year alone.

The private sector is doing fine. Where we're seeing weaknesses in our economy have to do with state and local government. Oftentimes cuts initiated by, you know, Governors or mayors who are not getting the kind of help that they have in the past from the federal government and who don't have the same kind of flexibility as the federal government in dealing with fewer revenues coming in.

And so, you know, if Republicans want to be helpful, if they really want to move forward and put people back to work, what they should be thinking about is how do we help state and local governments and how do we help the construction industry? Because the recipes that they're promoting are basically the kinds of policies that would add weakness to the -- to the economy, would result in further layoffs, would not provide relief in the housing market, and would result, I think most economists estimate, in lower growth and fewer jobs, not more.

Obama Backtracks: "It's Absolutely Clear The Economy Is Not Doing Fine"

The Liar In Chief Backtracks....is he really the President?

Obama Backtracks: "It's Absolutely Clear The Economy Is Not Doing Fine"

"It's absolutely clear the economy is not doing fine," President Obama said at the White House shortly after declaring "the private sector is doing fine" at a press conference Friday morning. That’s the reason I had a press conference. That’s why I spent yesterday, the day before yesterday, this past week, this past month and this past year talking about how we can make the economy stronger. The economy is not doing fine. There are too many people out of work. The housing market is still weak, too many homes underwater and that’s precisely why I asked Congress to start taking some steps that can make a difference.”

This is your affirmative action, socialist, community organizer, incompetent President.   He doesn't know what the hell he is saying....

Obama is more concerned about the government jobs...what we need to do is help the state and local governments that are laying off their workers.

Out of touch, President, who blatantly doesn't know his head from a hole in the ground.

Go Romney!!

Nero fiddled while Rome burned (modern violin having not been invented notwithstanding.  At the very least, he fiddled around) and Obama acts similarly for similar reasons.  Just as Nero wanted the portion of Rome which caught fire (likely set by his agents) for his new palace complex, Obama has a vision for America that has nothing to do with free enterprise, or freedom for that matter.  As a wise individual once said, in Socialist Amerika, the law violates you.  This would appear to be exactly what Obama and his legion of 'czars' intend to establish (think Van Jones).

David, that was my thoughts, too.  This reminds me of the Fall of the Roman Empire does it not.  I hope that we can benefit from that piece of history and get rid of Obama and his friends, advisors and mentors.  The sooner the better.  I wonder if he will ever run out of people to blame.

Narcissist-in-Chief....Obama is only concerned about his image and his socialist direction for our country.   He failed to pull it off so he must blame other people for his failures.

Backpeddling once again.   This was a gift to Romney.   This is guaranteed to be used in Romney's campaign ads.

Diane: "Out of touch, President, who blatantly doesn't know his head from a hole in the ground."   Too plain spoken.  How about using the preferred Liberal term 'Anal-cranial Inversion Syndrome'  Much the same thing, just sounds like a fancier, more PC way to describe his problem.  =)

Diane, I believe that what you are saying is that O boo boo is somewhat confused.

What he really meant was he is Doing Fine Seeing that the local and private sectors are not doing fine. In doing that, he is certainly doing just as he set out to do. If he were to be graded in seeing the economy NOT doing fine, but because he is doing such a fine job of it, then the correct statement from him would be the my DOING FINE STATEMENT as to what I set out to do is doing just FINE; and for that, along with a bit of confusion added to the mix he'd deserve an A.

Now do you fully understand that or do you think that you understood what you weren't supposed to have thought you didn't understand???? Be honest now, tell me that Yes you didn't understand it perfectly well with few exceptions. LOL

He reminds me of my 6 year old grandson.  He is playing a video game and he misses something and the games ends and he finds he lost.  He immediate tells his Mom that his brother said something to him and that is why he lost because his brother distracted him.  The problem is that his brother was not even in the room. The difference is that she can scold her son and let him know that that is lying as he blamed his brother who had nothing to do with why he lost, it was that he didn't play the game right and he responds that he is sorry for lying and knows that what he did was wrong.  After a couple of times he realizes it only gets him in trouble and he stops that behavior; Obama keeps going like the Energizer Bunny and never seems to care to change his behavior.

As Klein points out at the very beginning of "Amateur", it is not that he just now is starting to show is distance from the people, he has always had that distance; that is why he and his advisors are having so much trouble and exactly why Bill Clinton knows that Obama is beatable and had tried to push Hillary to run against him in 2012 so that they "meaning he" could get back in the White House.

So the fact that he is "out of touch" is absolutely true and that comes from many that are close to him and saw that when he was running to the Senate, not to mention the presidency.

Obama is a shell of a man....empty from top to bottom.    As Senator Obama he voted "present" over 100 times.   Now we know he simply doesn't care....doesn't feel like he has any skin in the game because he is anti-American.

What can we expect from a community organizer whose only apparent marketable skills are mouthing leftist/socialist/communist drivel and being able to read from a teleprompter?

David, let's hope the democrats see Obama for who he really is in November.
