I have noticed that Obama's clothes have been lasting quite nicely, as have those of his appointees and a number of congressmen/women. If there were any truth to one of the classic grade school rhymes, it would be a huge boon for the textile industry with limitless potential to increase volume:
David, over the holidays, I scanned over an article about more Americans buying "Made in America" this year. If our country would press this and continue to buy goods made in America what would that do to our economy?
Last year we were shopping for suits and found to our amazement that Hugo Boss suits are made in America. Fancy that. I had to smile. Wish we could bring more businesses back home.
We always can if we wish to bad enough. Remember, Diane, it starts with a drop of water in the pond and the ripple grows and grows. I believe if I make it my resolve to buy only American made this year and get 5 others to do the same we just might start that ripple affect if they do the same. Willing to start.
