Dianne Feinstein: “If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of theUnited States, for an outright ban, picking up [every gun]… Mr. and Mrs.America, turn ‘em all in.”
Senator Dianne Feinstein’s ultimate plan has always been to have Mr. and Mrs.Americaturn in their guns to the government, period. Feinstein has admitted that the bill is about gun confiscation.
She tells us a gun ban is about saving the children and reducing crime, but her comments on 60 Minutes in 1995 reveal her true plan is to disarm the American people.
On Thursday, Feinstein will introduced her dream bill to disarm the American people. The legislation is open-ended and includes provisions to re-register firearms and submit the fingerprints of law-abiding Americans as if they’re sex offenders.
Feinstein’s bill will also include a buy-back provision that will allow the government to confiscate all firearms. Both Feinstein and New Yorkgovernor Andrew Cuomo have said that is their plan.
It is a gun confiscation bill.
Sandy, just like social security and health care, there is the laws that applies to the Congress, President and Supreme Court and then there are the laws that the rest of us are to adhere to; two standards, two different set of rules. Hypocrite is just about right. Somewhere they forget that we are the boss and they are the employee; maybe it is about time they are reminded of this.
Well they seem to think they were 'reminded" in November when the uninformed and those with their hands out for government goodies voted Dear Leader and his Demagogues back in power and cut the GOP House margins. It appears the definition of who the "boss" really is is a bit murky. It didn't help that GOP voters insisted on getting snookered in some elections like IN and MO where the transgressions of the GOP candidates were minor and over blown but the Demagogue candidate (like Claire McCaskill) was so "pristine". Two more votes for Diane Frankenstein from states that have a lot of conservative gun owners. After the mess the alleged Senate Minority "Leader" made of the "fiscal cliff" bill I don't trust him either. Keep in mind he was part of the sequestration 'compromise". Let's be real, the idiots are in charge and will do whatever they want or whatever retains their power.
So much to address here...
1. Feinstein, along with anyone else who would introduce, vote for, lobby for, or sign legislation which is a direct affront to the Constitution should face a mandatory trial for treason.
2. Only the historically ignorant and hopelessly obtuse will believe that this has anything to do with crime rather than controlling the general population with the added bonus of the criminals serving as much needed bogeymen which are instrumental in keeping the sheep dependent on the government for the illusion of safety, never mind that crime will certainly go up with guaranteed helpless victims. Police? You really think the leftists in government care enough to spend the money protecting you? The will for themselves, but not for you.
3. Firearms sales, particularly those which are perennial ban magnets, are through the roof. Does she really think that those buyers are going to say "My bad" and turn them in for pennies on the dollar, if anything?
4. Do any of the morons who support this up and coming oligarchy have any idea what they are supporting, or why the Second Amendment was placed in the Constitution? Hint for the obtuse: It has absolutely nothing to do with 'sporting purposes'.
5. Considering that throughout history registration of weapons has invariably been followed by confiscation, then generally by authoritarian government, and often by genocide, do we really want to stand disarmed before people who subscribe to a number of pinko ideas including that the earth is over-populated? I'll give you one guess who they believe to be surplus to the earth's needs!
Now, are we going to rethink supporting this dangerous and unconstitution nonsense which does absolutely nothing toward its ostensible purpose and much to put each and every one of us in danger?

David, we all know that they have no prayer of a chance to accomplish this as this area, even more than economy, will bring about an uprising of major porportion; they would be real fools to even contemplate this any further. Even a Presidential order is not going to work; they would be best served to simply work on banning automatics or at least registering them where they would stand some semblance of a chance.
Diane: What to you mean by "automatics"? Weapons than can fire burst or sustained automatic fire (termed Class III firearms) have been registered, taxed, and licensed since 1934. That's where the "F" in BATF comes from since it was part of the Treasury until recently because it was a tax compliance enforcement agency for "sin items" like alcohol, tobacco, and FIREARMS. What Frankenstein is proposing is expanding that and the requirements to own "controlled" firearms to almost all weapons. Not sure after the performance of the alleged "opposition party" in the fiscal cliff and post election ObamaCare debacles nor the willingness to do 'immigration reform' with the whole host of "immigration" disasters like tax refund cheating and hiding the fact that INS has been releasing convicted felons back into society that they 'can't" deport that anyone is willing to stop the Left if looks like they will take a PR hit.
I think they are rewriting the Constitution if this gets passed. They are in omnipotent power in their own heads and it is dangerous!
People should keep in mind that the Federal assault on the BD group in Waco was set up under the guise of looking for firearms modified in violation of the 1934 Act and none were found. How many people died in that farce? How many children when the Feds changed the objective to be "protecting the children" which wasn't a Fed responsibility nor one of any of the agencies involved? Also a few violations of using US military forces internally in a law enforcement situation as well as gross incompetence and a huge coverup. This is the government that the Clintons, Dear Leader, and the radical Demagogues like FrankenFinestein want to give us. Do want we say or want or we'll make an example out of you!
John, I believe you were referring to me and I am sorry I didn't make it more specific. I am well aware of what Feinstein is proposing and she will never get to first base with it. I also am very familiar with the practices and policies regarding gun ownership. But, John, I do know that the people of this Country will not sit back and let them take away their guns. It won't happen, John and we both know this. What is really hilarious is that they think that gun owners will step forward with their weapons and give them to them. And as to enforcing confiscation of weapons, that should be worth a good laugh, too. They will never find them as people will take measures to see they don't. But I honestly don't think that the government wants to go down that road; it is more about talk right now to once more shift all liability to the GOP. I do believe that it is their attempt, and not just the U.S. government, but the UN as well, to try to do this. They want the populace unarmed so that they can move forward with their real goals of turning this Country into a completely different form of government and we all know what that might be. I sometimes think MacArthur was right even though he was not my favorite military person, we should have kept right on going at the end of the war with Japan and marched right into Russia and taken care of business there, too.
While Ruby Ridge was meant to be a training mission only and turned into something much different. And they used it to make an example of Randy Weaver and his family, too. That kind of backfired in their face. John, you are correct about Waco; both of these incidents had no business taking place based on the explanation we were given.
Good Morning ALL of YOU. I received a post from Carole's sister yesterday, and haven't confirmed the validity of it, but I think it is good enough to b e seen by all of you, and a major portion of our populace as well. It is extremely well written without a doubt. I think of Feinsteain when I read this letter. She has a Carry Permit but doesn't think you should or I should so just who the HELL DOES SHE THINK SHE IS? God's Gift to this EARTH???? Enjoy!!!!!
politician, you have been on the public dole (tit) for
to change the rules of the
Automatics have been banned since the late thirties. It's extremely difficult for anyone to have one. It's been driving my husband crazy about the misuse of terms. Most guns & rifles are semi-automatics. Banning weapons because they merely resemble the military's is silly. btw What makes hunters unlikely to murder anyone? Liberals like to toss in hunting rifles as benign as if a hunter couldn't have mental problems, too, and shoot others intentionally. Britain is considering banning long kitchen knives because too many were used as murder weapons. How far do they want to go? There are almost infinite ways of murdering people, including bare hands.
Linda: "as to enforcing confiscation of weapons, that should be worth a good laugh, too. They will never find them as people will take measures to see they don't." That's the reaction my brother-in-law who lives in NYS had when we told him of Gov. Cuomo's gun confiscation plan he's considering. NY votes Democrat because of big cities, but rural NY is full of Republicans who aren't about to turn in their guns & rifles.
"They want the populace unarmed so that they can move forward with their real goals of turning this Country into a completely different form of government and we all know what that might be." Bill Ayers, radical friends & The Weather Underground (now the Prairie Fire Organizing Committee) planned to round up and systematically murder 45 Million Americans, because they would not go along with the fundamental change necessary to transform America. I doubt anything much is different with the radical leftists of today.
We might be shopping at Cabela's in the near future.
John and Sandy, I had meant to say semi-automatics and just got in too much of a hurry. I realize that automatics were outlawed in the 30's as a result of the mobsters of the day. That was very reasonable as can you imagine what that would do to clay targets or any game you were hunting; a bit over kill I would say. Sorry, I will be more careful what I type next time.
I am not so sure that the Feds couldn't make a good stab at enforcing parts of Frankenstein's bill since records are kept on sales that go through FFLs, some states have very restrictive laws on hand gun purchases and some so-called "assault weapons" that include state records of individual purchase, some states have state issued ID cards (other than concealed carry) that would at least ID those who could purchase firearms, and similar situations that would give a big new bureaucracy (that both Dear Leader and his Demagogues love) with power to go after those the "progressives" think are "evil" at least some starting points. Won't get them all since some were private sales/post 68 law requirements/inherited/gifts but would certainly reduce the amount out in public held by LEGAL owners. Remember the result is to make as many sheep to be sheared and slaughtered as possible for the new US Order.
James P: Excellent posts. That's why I've been preaching that the GOP needs to avoid getting entrapped in SS and Medicare in discussing 'entitlement reform" as part of "deficit reduction" since that is not the primary problem with the CURRENT overspending when compared to the "means tested" programs without any dedicated revenue sources, the continued fall out from the alleged "stimulus" bill, continued extension and expansion of the likes of unemployment benefits/food stamps/EITC/education :investment"/"green energy"/etc, expansion of the Federal workforce and its payments, expansion of agencies (except Defense), useless "research" grants, and all the other areas of prime cutting that would have REAL RESULTS, NOW!
What really irritates me is that Feinstein, for someone who supposedly opposed private ownership of arms, Constitution be damned, she is very selective. I would love to have the weapons she possesses and has been photographed with. I am also sure I would love to get my hooks into the NFA goodies she and her husband have. For our liberal neighbors reading this, she doesn't have a problem with guns, she has a problem with plebians possessing guns. She certainly likes hers and wants her security detail to have them, but our lives aren't worth as much as hers!
Last week, a whole bunch of people who are more famous and pretty than us filmed a PSA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64G5FfG2Xpg) for Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal group, demanding a plan to end gun violence, whatever that means. Naturally, not everyone took the video well, including the unfortunately named Mike Hunt (can we create a John Doe-type name for people like this on YouTube?), who pieced together a mashup of “hyper-violent, trigger-happy footage against video of each celebrity wearing black and speaking in a hushed tone.”
So, who do we have to blame?
Jamie Foxx, Jason Bateman, Paul Rudd, Beyonce, Amy Poehler, Jeremy Renner, Amanda Pete, Jon Hamm, Carla Gugino, Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon, Rashida Jones, Will Ferrell, Sarah Silverman, Aziz Ansari, John Legend, Olivia Munn, Kathryn Hahn, Julianne Moore, Busy Phillips, Jennifer Garner, John Slattery, Nick Offermann, Chris Rock, Cameron Diaz, Courtney Cox, Christina Applegate, Zooey Deschanel, Steve Carrell, Adam Scott, Ellen Degeneres, Mark Ruffalo, Kate Hudson, Peter Dinklage, Jennifer Aniston, Elizabeth Banks, Max Greenfeld, Gwyneth Paltrow, Conan, Aubrey Plaza, Debra Messing, Megan Mullaly, Jennifer Westfeldt, Michelle Williams, Chris Paul, Victor Cruz (Via)

Sandy, I wonder how they would feel if we were to all boycott their shows, movies, etc. and they no loner had the big bucks to back up their voices. I am so tired of them a they are little kids playing at being adults most of the time; they live and work in a make believe world and have lost sight of reality in the real world.
