If I had to make a list of the most dishonest, bigoted and despised people I know of, Al Sharpton would be very close to the top. He has made a career of creating racial hatred rather than trying to end it. He speaks from a very black biased and bigoted view point, often without knowing the facts. I would place him the same category as Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Jesse Jackson Sr, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Maxine Waters, Charles Schumer, Alec Baldwin and Samuel L. Jackson.
In his latest public statement, he showed his socialist side as well. Sharpton and other black leaders were meeting and then held a press conference. In that press conference, Sharpton said,
“Absolutely, I mean if you look at the Second Amendment it was that you would have militia to protect yourself in case the government came and attacked citizens.”
“First of all, if the government were to come to disarm you, you would not be able to use an automatic weapon to defend yourself. Let’s be serious. We’re in a world of drones now so the Second Amendment would not help you in that area. It is absurd to try to cite that.”
“People do not have the right to unregulated rights in this country. And I think that for those that use the Second Amendment [they] are conceding that they have no argument on why you need a magazine with 100 rounds of ammunition or 30 rounds of ammunition.”
First of all Mr. Sharpton, if I were defending myself about the illegal and unconstitutional acts of our government and found myself facing a drone, I would want an assault-style rifle with a high capacity magazine for that very purpose. Additionally, I’d want to have at least a dozen more high capacity magazines fully loaded sitting right beside me. I’ve been shooting my whole life, am a pretty good shot and I figure that with the amount of lead I could throw out at the drone, I’d have a lot greater chance of hitting it than with just a few rounds.
Secondly, when your buddy in the White House sends this country into the next Great Depression, there is going to be a lot of rioting and looting and home invasions. I’ve seen how crowds can get out of control and storm businesses and homes. Again, I would have a greater chance of defending my house and my family with an assault-style rifle with a stack of high-capacity magazines at my disposal.
But now to the comment about not having the right to unregulated rights. If you apply that equally across the board, then your right to free speech is out the door and along with your right not to self-incriminate yourself. You know, the old – ‘I’ll take the fifth,’ statements people make in court. They’re not talking about a fifth of Jack Daniels, rather they’re talking about the Fifth Amendment. But hey, according to your understanding, that right has to be regulated also, so you can’t use that anymore.
The Preamble to the Constitution of the United States says:
“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
If every right is to be regulated, then we really don’t have the right to domestic tranquility, or the defense of the common good, nor do we have the full rights to the blessings of liberty and posterity. In one statement, Mr. Sharpton, you have completely dismantled the entire legal foundation of the United States.
But let’s look at one item that hits a little more at home for you, Mr. Sharpton. The 13th Amendment abolished slavery of all forms except for terms of imprisonment. If you are consistent with what you said, there can and should be regulations within that amendment which means that certain forms of slavery or servitude would be allowed. Who’s going to regulate this or determine who is enslaved and who isn’t? It sure as heck better not be you.
Mr. Sharpton, allow me to give you a little piece of advice. Don’t be like Joe Biden and open your mouth and say whatever comes to mind. Think about what you are saying and then weigh the logical outcomes of that statement before it leaves your lips. Who knows, someone may just have to start regulating your right say such stupid things.

Many of the black centers of influence are racists. No one ever calls them out on it or if they do it's a slap on the hand. The base of their rants is generally centered on the black community being held down by the white community. They have had all of the same opportunities as other races in our country for decades now. As equal to all Americans it always gets back to personal responsibility. This is why the race card hasn't worked since 1980. We've taken away their power to sue people in the workplace for race discrimination and now they are held to the same standards.
