I’m Barack Obama, and I’m Angry to be Here

by Keith Koffler onJuly 26, 2013, 2:13 pm

I wonder if, when you just get to the center of Obama, what you find is an angry guy.

It pops up in so many ways – ways we haven’t seen with previous presidents since . . . well, since you know who. Nixon.

It doesn’t take a German psychoanalyst to know that someone like Obama, whose father abandoned him and whose mother was gone for years at a time, might have something to be upset about.

Obama angry

It shouldn’t be too surprising that this man, who presented himself as the King of Cool and the Apostle of Hope in 2008, is really not all that nice.

But it’s amazing how enduring the goodly images Obama created for himself are. You’d think the former senator from Illinois sprouted up out of a cornfield instead of the putrid muck of Chicago politics.

Obama reveals himself all the time in his treatment of opponents, whether offering them backhanded compliments for their “sincere” belief in greed and fleecing others, or campaigning against them as “enemies” in need of punishment for wanting to place immigrants in Gulags, keep the masses from getting a proper education, let patients die in the waiting room because they can’t make the co-pay, and so forth.

In the past couple of weeks we’ve seen the anger press through the surface into sharp relief.

When Obama concluded his remarks on Trayvon Martin, I was stunned. What I found inexplicable is that the president of the United States could find the system, of which he is guardian, so unjust that he would suggest if George Zimmerman had been black and killed a white man he would have been convicted. And that Obama could have such a sense of outrage about race relations that he would participate in the destruction of Zimmerman – who has been placed forever in the pantheon of civil rights antagonists along with Bull Connor and George Wallace - by embracing Trayvon Martin, even though there is no evidence Zimmerman did worse than try to keep from being killed.

Where’s the compassion for a man who was judged innocent? Where’s the recognition of Obama’s role as president of all of us?

And think for a moment about how Obama is framing his economic speeches. The core of what he’s trying to do, he said at Knox College in Illinois Wednesday, is not to make the economy better or create jobs. It’s to eliminate inequality.

So in many ways, the trends that I spoke about here in 2005 — eight years ago — the trend of a winner-take-all economy where a few are doing better and better and better, while everybody else just treads water — those trends have been made worse by the recession. And that’s a problem.

This growing inequality not just of result, inequality of opportunity — this growing inequality is not just morally wrong, it’s bad economics. Because when middle-class families have less to spend, guess what, businesses have fewer consumers . . .

And that’s why reversing these trends has to be Washington’s highest priority. (Applause.) It has to be Washington’s highest priority. (Applause.) It’s certainly my highest priority. (Applause.)

He throws in “inequality of opportunity,” but what Obama is really angry about is inequality of result. He’s mad that some people have more than others. That we’re not spreading the wealth around enough. That people are getting ahead even though you didn’t build that. Because at a certain point, you’ve earned enough money.

It’s the politics of resentment, touted by someone who harbors resentment. It’s at bottom the philosophy of, gimme what you got, you rich bastard.

It’s anger. And, as it expressed itself in the speech Wednesday, it wants payback.

Sheila, I would have to agree with you on this one.  He pegs Obama at the very core of who Obama really is; an angry, resentful, America-hating individual.  In reading his book Dreams From My Father, you also see that he hates his mother in that he hates the whiteness of his mother.  If this isn't the most telling indication of his psychological state, nothing is.  This man is angry, resentful and hates the very essence of his ancestry.  In that state of mind, it could not be more obvious that he then allows every aspect of his agenda for the US to be colored with his own resentments and hatreds and that he sees all wealthy as "white America".  He fails to see that there are many minorities that are represented by the wealthy, including Blacks.  So is his hatred only toward wealthy whites?

He was ripe for Marxist indoctrine as he had the hatred already in his soul; the hatred of wealthy, white and America.  What we need to realize is that none of this was part of his cover-up of his background; he was very willing to let people know that he is an Alinsky fan, that he is surrounded by members of the American Communist Party and is a member, himself, and that he hates the whites (his book tells that story well).  So, why did the liberals miss this point as a good percentage of them are white, wealthy and Americans?  They missed it because much of this is the way the Democratic Party itself is leaning right along with the liberal media.  They, even though many of it's leadership are themselves wealthy, want to see everyone on the same financial footing (except themselves of course) and they want to socialize the Country as they, themselves, are pro-socialism, at least basic socialism while many of the leadership are also Marxist-socialists in their leaning.

Great article and thank you for posting this one.

Linda:  I don't think America can survive Hillary Clinton or ole joe blow biden.

However, we need an honest politician.  I do think Ted Cruz, Col. Allen West and Rand Paul are honest men.

I am skeptical with the others.

I know it is important to keep the alert on this administration and focus on the scandals.

CIA agent asked Geraldo last nite why it is taking GOP Congress so long to get answers on Benghazi.   I get mixed answers here and he claims if they gave a federal supboena to the survivors they have to answer if not in person on tv; but written.

Well Barack baby -- I am Tara Jane Hammond and I am angry that you ARE here!

Tara Jane, great response.  I think the conservatives, at least, agree and would just fill in their own name.

Sheila, remember that the survivors were forced to sign an agreement that they would not talk about it so it would take a Federal supboena and would a Federal judge do that with Obama and Holder watching them and dictating what they do?

What is wrong with John Kerry then, he went to visit them in the hospital.

I am sure as Sec. of State he did his own investigation.  He is never around.

He is a coward!

I also believe the MSM will focus on Weiner now to get him out of the race because there is way too much weird stuff going on with his wife and her part-time high security clearance job working from home and her other part-time private job.  Conflict of interest?  These people have a separate set of rules for themselves.

Her whole background may start to implode as well.  Way too many family members who are Muslim Brotherhood.  There is many questions about her and the more Weiner stays public, attention will go on her at some point.  MSM is covering Obama and Hillary's arses and they will scapegoat Weiner.

Weiner is a compulsive obsessive person who sexting got him in trouble; but this internet age has many nutty people doing this stuff.

How come the MSM did not go ballistic on Bill Clinton's numerous affairs which some were lawsuits of sexual harrassment.   That is far worse than Weiner's sexting.   He was getting serviced under the oval office desk by an intern who was his daughter's age.

Have to agree with all of your comments.    Obama does seem to have a great deal of anger in him.   Wait until the American people bring in an all republican congress in 2014.   I want to live long enough to see that.    Michelle's anger has been obvious from day one IMO.
