So Romantic! July 18, 2004 9:46 AM

O.k. It was Valentines Day about 2 years ago. I was so ready to get mad at my hubby for buying my best friend a rose, when I walked into my bed room and there they were, laid out on my bed. A dozen Carnations for every year we were together. Now Carnations are my favorite flower, and to see 12 dozen carnations laid out all across my bed made me feel like crap for feeling so angry with him. Also, one more romantic thing was, when we were dating, he asked for his first kiss. He didn't want me to feel pressured, so he asked if he could kiss me. Because of that, we will be celebrating our 16th Anniv on the 30th.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
OK ... I'll continue, now ... Thanks to your onitiative July 18, 2004 6:41 PM

So ... it was just the way she softly touched my neck, then kissed me goodmorning. Without saying anything else she prepared some fresh perked coffee (love that smell). She knew what my morning meeting was about, what I had to speak on, etc. She brought over a cup of coffee, sat beside me, and silently watched what I was doing. In a moment she stretched reached over, re-arranged some of my notes, slapped on a couple of coloured stick notes ... and magically, my presentation was set to go. THAT intense caring "knocked me out" ... but the she took my hand and softly said ... "c'mon, let's have breakfast .... and led me down the hall"! Needless to say ... IT was a great day, and my mind was wrapped around her the entire day! My presentation was a 'snap'! and I was super glad to get back home that evening. A blessing in disguise? Luck? Fate? Destiny? I don't really know, but she really is my best friend!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
Hmmmmmm? July 22, 2004 10:43 AM

My wife and I have been married for 25 years and lovers for 27, so it's a bit of stretch to remember my most romantic moment. From my point of view it was a day before she went into labor with our first child. For some reason she was crying and complaining how ugly she felt. I asked her to stand up. We were in our bedroom at the time. I then told her NOT to move. I took every stitch of clothes off her. I then knelt on my knees and kissed her tummy. I kissed every stretch mark. I told her she was never more beautiful than THAT moment. She made me stand and gave me a very slow kiss and said she never felt more beautiful or more loved. As odd as it seems, that kiss was our most romantic moment. Doc  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

I asked my wife the same question and much to my surprise she said the same thing, but added that a few minutes later we were making love, and we felt the baby move. She reminded me that we started crying as we both reach climax. We laid side by side, in the wonderful afterglow of good sex and felt our baby move again. That for her was her most romantic moment. Chuck, that really really is beautiful. As for me, I really wasn't kidding. I couldn't say what was the most romantic moment (Steve). All of them seem to have been spoiled in retrospect by break ups, but for those moments...ah, that is what we live for is those moments, isn't it? I dated a musician for about seven years (off and on) and he was playing this gig. I was to meet him after work. As I walked into the room, cigarette smoke, waiters, drinks splashing, the whole bar routine; his eyes met mine and he stopped what he was doing and announced that the beautiful girl walking in was his girlfriend and that he was dedicating the next song to her (me). He then played Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight." That beside embarrassing me, made me melt inside. lol I don't think we took our eyes off each other the whole time. That's one.
