Hi

I am tcmoon, well, as far as my poetry and other writings go. Most of you already know me as Ron M.

Thomas Charles Moon was my maternal grandfather who died serving his country in 1940 in Belgium. My mother was not quite a year old at that time. I took his name as my pseudonym as a tribute to him and the countless others who died in war.

I bid a very warm welcome to everyone just joining us. Please do have a look around the boards at my poems  [obviously ] and those posted by members, I think, if you like poetry, you will be entertained and/or moved by what you read here. Make a comment or two, saying how you liked it. All writers need encouragement, so please be gentle.

And feel free to post your own creations, worry not if you think you are not good enough, all poetry is worthy and good enough because everyone of us are different how we write, what we write about and how we read others works. And everyone is individual as is their poetry. Please do read the article posted at the top of the list if you have any doubts about your own talents. It is, of course, only MY point of view.

Above all, be entertained and enjoy....

You can post poetry from other sites but provided you have the authors permission to do so and/or ensure their byline [name] is down and the poem is attributed to them. [The latter being is they are since passed poets].

It's not a condition to post your own poetry, if you are a writer of, but as this group is for enjoying and not critiquing it is entirely your own discretion whether or not to do so.
