Joining forces to save dogs in China

The red collar shows people this dog has been vaccinatedWSPA and the China Animal Disease Control Centre (CADC) have signed an exciting agreement to work together on a four-year project to save at least 500,000 dogs from being needlessly killed in response to rabies.

Through our global Collars Not Cruelty campaign, we have proven that vaccination is the only effective way to protect dogs and safeguard communities from rabies.

The first phase of this project will focus on setting up pilot dog vaccination programs in China to prove to authorities there that this solution works. With the CADC as partners, we can make real inroads to protecting animals' lives in China.

Are there any dogs to vaccinate after the dog meat trade has had its evil way? Sorry people I do not feel very positive after all the dreadful stories about dog abuse.
