I don´t have phone, only internet in this moment, Darren went to pick up Sergio from school and to try to call my parents house. I don´t have news from anybody in this moment. My parents live in a PH and my mom gets a little bit nervous with these things. I hope Darren arrives soon with news.

Wow, it was a weird one! I was in the bedroom, sitting on the bed and all of a sudden... the bed started to sway back and forth, from left to right. I thought, "Huh!?", then realized it was a quake. Kinda reminded me of the 6.8 in Olympia, WA. Except the cars in the driveway were going up and down, when that one happened!

The difference is; if you are right above where an earthquake originates, you go up and down.
If you are off to the side of an earthquake, you go sideways plus some up and down, because the earth moves like a wave, just like a pebble in a pond. The waves move out and dissipate.
