This is Velia again, Efrén's mother. People have asked me what is the MOST IMPORTANT thing people can do right now to help Efrén during this very critical hour. Efrén is asking you to PLEASE ask people to contact Governor Granholm and express support for his release. You can learn how to do this by visiting http://tinyurl.com/michgov.  People can also visit our newly created petition on Change.org to send a letter to the Governor as well by clicking here.

You are all urged to please share this message all over Care2, on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, e-mail, and any other medium you use to communicate. Together we can rescue Efrén from a lifetime of incarceration and help restore his much deserved freedom. And, it could happen in the coming weeks or couple months. We are very close to receiving a decision. We can ALL make a difference!
