According to the comment left by Amy McCreath on the linked news report, a vigil will be held for the families of Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. Here is a copy of that comment:

"How hard it is to hear this news. Even harder to hold it and respond to it alone. Tomorrow morning (Saturday, Dec. 15) at 10 am, there will be a gathering at Church of the Good Shepherd to lament, to find solace in scripture and God's promises, and to share prayers for individual and communal healing. Please share this invitation with others who might want to join us. (The heating system at the church is under repair, so wear a warm sweater.)

"(WTNH) -- Vigils are being held around Connecticut for the victim's of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown.

Below is a Town-by-Town list of the vigils being held:

BRANFORD -- First Baptist Church and First Congregational Church are hosting a joint prayer service at 7 p.m.

ESSEX -- Essex Fire House at 6 p.m.

FAIRFIELD -- Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius Loyola at 6 p.m.

GRANBY -- Granby Town Green at 6 p.m.

MONROE -- Town Green at 7 Fan Hill at 6 p.m.

NEW LONDON -- Science and Technology Magnet High School at 7 p.m.

NEWTOWN -- Interfaith service in Newtown High School Auditorium on Sunday at 7 p.m.

NORTH HAVEN -- Congregational Church on the green at 7 p.m.

NORWALK -- Christ Episcopal Church at 2 Emerson Street in East Norwalk at 5:30 p.m.

ROCKY HILL -- Rocky Hill Congregational Church at 7 p.m.

TRUMBULL -- Nichols United Methodist Church on Shelton Road at 7:30 p.m.

WINDSOR -- Windsor Town Green at 7:00 p.m."
