Glad you're keeping the group alive. I was reflecting on all this during the past week...I have begun to fill up some of the empty spots Bill left behind with volunteer work, friends made since his loss, and so on...but for those of us who have lost a spouse or life partner (and no pitypot intended)you DO feel better staying busy, but it's not the same as that person who is, directly or indirectly, part of every waking moment of your life. Sometimes you just gotta soldier on.
Soldiering onward and forward... October 02, 2010 8:58 AM
Yes, Janet, Tim is the best at his continued loyalty and staying committed to this group and the other group over in Facebook.
I appreciate and connect with what you are saying Janet. I just finished writing a piece about exactly that when it comes to dealing and living with sorrow and grief. No matter, how difficult it may be, soldiering on is about somedays all you can actually do and that is like putting one foot in front of the other and that is all there is and that may be the best you can do somedays and that isn't half bad now is it. You, Tim and I and our circle of friends and familes continuing the circle of life for and in honor of them.
