Sometimes our grief can turn to joy by helping others August 02, 2005 10:46 PM

How would you feel if it was your daughter, sister, mother, or wife in Linda's situation?

Right now, a young Venezuelan woman named Linda Loaiza is fighting for justice, and she needs you to speak out for her today.

Linda's waking nightmare began 4 years ago, at the age of 18, when she was kidnapped, held prisoner in her attacker's home, and repeatedly raped, beaten and tortured. She was finally rescued by Venezuelan police 4 months later - but her attacker has yet to be brought to justice for his crimes.

We need your help to let the Venezuelan government know the world is watching and that we want a trial date set ASAP.

Please sign this petition to demand Justice for Linda today!  [ send green star]

Very True... August 04, 2005 6:54 AM

Dear Giasemi,

I agree with you...  Helping people is good for them and gratifying for those who lend them a hand. It works both ways for the common good.  I wish more people would simply think about it and recognize it as a simple truth!  Thanks for reminding us.  (Of course, I signed the petition right away!)

Hugs,

Giuliana aka Princess Little Rock
