More Encouraging Book Suggestions for us all... September 20, 2005 8:14 AM

The AFTERLIFE Experiments, Written By: Gary E. Schwartz, Ph.D, with William L. Simon.

The book is amust read for encouragment for those that doubt the soul lives on. It deals with Precognition, of which I am all too familiar with and controlledlaboratoryconditionsthat they feel give scientific proof of the ever present question that nags the back of alot ofour sorrowing minds, is there life after death? I am reading it now and with some real positive vibes resulting from the reading experience. If there ever was a more encouraging book then this, I have yet to find it folks. This gives me hope and strengthens faith that our loved ones went to a better place and we are all still connected.

The second book recommendation is:
I Wasn't Ready To Say Goodbye, written by: Brook Noel & Pamela D. Blair, PH.D.

This book somehow made it home one night from my library shift and has become a decent reading for the continuing journey of the sorrowing souls. They aswer questions like: Will I ever get over the loss? The answers support what we believe in here at, Your Grief Will TurnTo Joy. They share a poem within their answer to that question and here it follows:

You don't get over it

You just get through it

You don't get by it

Because you can't get around it

It doesn't just "get better"

It just gets different

Every day...

Grief puts on a new face.

I particularly enjoyed the poem, Ginger! How true...

Thanks for sharing.

Always appreciate good referrals to new books. After Laurel's death, I read just about anything I could get my hands on and still read voraciously. Some books seemed to appeal at first (We Are Not Alone, the story of a physic who connects with the other side, made me believe and think about trying to schedule a session...but after I read his next book, transcripts of sessions, it sounded more like the phony psychics and their patter. But, while skeptical I am keeping an open mind--) One of the writers I value most is Philip Yancey, an evangelical writer whose books talk about understanding God and how he works even in the worst of times....  [ send green star]
