Trying to slip it past the public, as part of the budget bill (requiring a simple majority and not the overwhelming majority otherwise required) and using federal money to distract people with talk of Social Security (taking the refuge off the news radar) - your congressional representatives will soon decide the fate of OUR LAST 5% of PRISTINE ARCTIC WILDLIFE AREA.
The prize for destroying this area which has remained untouched for millions of years? a 90-day supply (AT MOST) of Oil - put another way, a vote today will basically have no impact on world oil production, but will permanently effect the natural resources our country (and early Republican Party leaders) has considered essential. After all, that's why it's called the "Wildlife Refuge" -
