Cryonics for car parts to improve efficiency June 07, 2005 6:32 AM

Interesting article What are the commercial applications of this technology of freezing cart parts to improve performance?  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
well... June 07, 2005 9:02 PM

i guess if it improves the efficiency of the product(s) we produce then that would be good for the environment as the products would last longer. it would also help take pressure off of the environment to keep providing resources for inefficient/wasteful industries/uses. as for the commercial applications, i think it will be the clever, visionary manufacturers that will see that there is a large and still growing base of customers that will look for environmental responsible companies. of course, some humans being like some humans they will probably not like the idea of creating efficient products as they may not make as many sales over a given time re replacement(s) or of the parts thereof. companies, especially car companies can make huge money from selling replacement part as you would be well aware of. ever heard a mechanic say, "yeah, they are not designed to last" money!, the reason we progress, and the reason we don't. totally un-natural.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
