Hello everyone. Sorry it's been awhile since I posted. The weather has started to cool down some. Hopefully we've seen the last of the hot and humid weather for awhile. Today i saw a tree that was started to change into its fall colors
"His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed." Psalm 112:2
A woman came to her pastor and said, "When should I start the
religious training of my child? When will he be old enough? Is it too
early to start at six years of age?" The pastor said, "No, that's too
late." She said, "Well how about six months?" He said, "That's too
late." She said, "Then when should I start?" He said, "With his
We can live for our grandchildren; we can live for our
great-grandchildren. The greatest gift you can give your children is to
teach them to worship the Lord, to love the Lord, and to serve the Lord
at any age.
If you are a grandparent, share what God has taught you about His
grace and faithfulness in your life. And share what God has taught you
about worshipping Him and serving others.
I have been away for 3 weeks. My Brother-in law was on life support and we did not think he was going to make it. But through prayers of friends, family and the church, GOD heard our cries and had mercy for Bill. Praise God he is so good and wonderful! I am happy to be back here. Missed my care2 grouops. Making Sense of What We Don't Understand Devotional thought from the messages of Adrian Rogers
BIBLE MEDITATION: Psalm 139:23 - "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts."
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: A
little boy had a jigsaw puzzle that had a map of the world on one side
and a picture of a man on the other. His mother asked him to try to
work it, and before long he had put the puzzle together. The mother was
surprised to find that the little fellow knew so much about geography. "How on earth did you do that?" she asked. "Oh," he said, "I worked the other side first. When I got the man right, the world was right." How true that is! We will never fix this world until we get the man right -- the Man Jesus Christ, that is.
ACTION POINT: Are things in your world confusing you these days? Turn to Jesus and trust Him to make sense of what you don't understand.

Jesus Paid It All Devotional thought from the messages of Adrian Rogers
BIBLE MEDITATION: Ephesians
2:5 - "But God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He
loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together
with Christ (by grace ye are saved)."
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: Suppose
your best friend offered to buy you a new car. You tell him that you
can't accept it outright and offer to help pay for the car. Then you
say, "Here's a quarter. Thank you!" Now you're driving around, and
somebody compliments you on your new car and you say, "Thanks! My
friend and I bought this car." Wouldn't that be ridiculous? Well,
that's what we're doing with God when we add our two bits-worth of
self-effort to His grace. If you do that, you take the glory from
Almighty God. When you get to heaven, all you're going to be able to
say is, "Jesus paid it all."
ACTION POINT: Spend some time reading Ephesians 2 today and praise God for His divine plan of salvation.

Hello everyone. I'm on vacation for the last 2 weeks of July. I'm currently in Virginia visiting with my youngest sister. Then I will be headed to North Carolina to visit some of my other siblings a family members. It's been quite hot out, although we did get some rain yesterday
Remember me? I was having trouble having messages from my groups sent to my email for the longest time! They've fixed it a few times, but it kept happening. Hopefully it's been fixed permanently. I've missed you all so much!

Hello everyone. It's been awhile since I posted here. So far July has been hot and humid. Thankfully the nights have been cool. This saturday I will be taking a train trip to visit some of my family in Virginia and North Carolina. I am looking forward to having time off from work and seeing some of my siblings as well as some of my nieces and nephews.
Good Morning everyone, I do hope you all enjoyed a restful week-end. Have a lovely week and stay safe out there. This will be my last post in this group. I wish you all well and continue to stay in the word and close to the Father. Sending hugs.
Good evening everyone. Hope you all had a safe and blessed 4th of July. In church we said the Pledge of Alligience and sang some of the patriotic hymns. The way this nation is headed,I wonder how much longer we'll be able to celebrate our freedom.
Good evening everyone. The past couple days have been sunny but kind of on the cool side. It supposed to get hotter towards the weekend. At least we've been getting a reprieve from all the rain we've been getting.
Good Morning everyone, well it is a glorious morning here in mid MI. The rest of the week is supposed to be sunny and in the seventies. I am so looking forward to being able to get outside and work a bit in the garden.
Good morning Echo Rose and friends. I wish you could send some of your warm summer down here, its cold and wet. At least one month of winter is nearly over and I sure am praying for an early spring. Echo Rose would you please write to me and send instructions on how to insert images without the HTML code. I am sadly a 'pc dummy' and would love to share some lovely pictures also. Thank you.
Hello Jean and Linda. Hope you are having a great day. Linda..that is wonderful news to hear. I always smile when the young can find the Lord at such an early age. They are way ahead them some. I found God many years ago but back slid until I realized I am nothing without him in my life every second of every day. Hugs ladies..EchoRose

Good afternoon everyone. We have been having a fairly cool summer so far, with quite a bit of rain. Hopefully it will get warmer during July and August. Just hope it doesn't get too hot. Someone in one of my other groups told me that a cool summer usually means a cold, harsh winter. Last summer was on the cool side and we ended up having a long bitter cold winter.
This week my church is doing a soccer camp for kids 5 to 12 years, boys and girls. This is our 2nd year doing it. Last year we had about 40 kids with one boy accepting Christ. This year we have about 35. We want the kids to have fun playing soccer, but more important,we want them to learn about Jesus. I've been helping out after I get off work.
Have a great weekend everyone. June 05, 2010 9:08 AM
Hello everyone, the day started out nice. The weather is currently beautiful, a bit over cast with clouds but I will take it as long as I stay inside the mosquitoes can just dream about biting trying to bite me!
It has been awhile since I have been able to post at various groups at Care2 - but the last few days seems to be cooperating with me. So hopefully I can post daily. Been busy last night and this morning trying to update my cancer group. Got behind with the login issues and lack of hosts. That will keep me busy this weekend. I hope everyone has a blessed one.
Dear EchoRose, Linda and Christian friends. We are having an early winter, which is making me more tired than usual with my CFIDS, so a wee nap during the day helps me to keep going with a bit more energy.
I have decided to take my painkiller before I come onto the net, it sure helps to alleviate the pain of sitting up and allows me to catch up with my netpals and groups a little longer.
Praise God, he gave us a big storm on the weekend, but since then the skies have been sunny and mostly clear. There was no damage at my place from the terrible storm, I know that our Lord Jesus was looking after me as I prayed for the whole of our small city to be spared.
Good afternoon everyone. We have been getting quite alot of rain lately as well as some thunderstorms. I think we got rain just about every day last week. The couple days it didn't rain, it was cold and windy out.
This past thursday we had an handbell choir visit the church. They were from a bible college in West Virginia. They did tradtitional hymns as well as the more modern Christian music. They also sang and quoted bible verses that went with the songs.
I'm on vacation this week from work. Right now,I'm only part time, but at this point just thankful to have a job.
Good evening everyone. Today it has been chilly out. It has been raining most of the day and windy as well. A good day to just stay home and read a book. Except I chose to spend most of the day at the library. Tomorrow I go back to work so it will probably be warm and sunny out.
HI LINDA, I AM IN OHIO AND IT WAS COLD LAST NIGHT. I HAD TO GO OUT AND COVER ALL MY ROSE BUSHES BECAUSE OF THE FROST. TODAY THE SUN IS OUT BUT STILL CHILLY.HOPE YOU AND EVERYONE HERE HAS A GREAT DAY..LOVE AND HUGS ECHOROSE

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I am new to the group and a 'pc dummy', so I won't be adding lovely pictures as some of you can. However, I appreciate the beautiful ones that members include. I live in the south west of Western Australia. It is autumn/fall here and the days and nights are getting cooler. We have had a wonderful week of warm days and sunny skies, so I planted some winter vegetables and am guarding the seedlings from the snails. Wishing all a good night. God bless. Peace and Love as always.
