About the Campaign

ITookThePledge.org is a student-led, grassroots effort to encourage Americans to cut our oil use in half by 2020.  Started in September 2005 by 20/20 Vision’s Project 2020, we believe that students like us must stand up and speak out against excessive U.S. oil consumption.  If we don’t act now, we will bear the brunt of these problems and our future won’t be so bright.  [ send green star]
