-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: "Voderberg, Peter" Sent: Friday, November 02, 2007 3:01 PM To: Subject: Testimony on Senate Bill 183: Mandatory Minimum Sentences for Sexual Predators To whom it may concern, On Wednesday, November 7th at 10:00 AM the Senate Criminal Justice Committee will be having a hearing on Senate Bill 183, which creates mandatory minimum sentences for internet sexual predators. On Wednesday of this week, we were able to have members of the law enforcement community testify on the legislation to, and for this coming hearing we are hoping to have members of the public testify in support of the bill. I am contacting your organization in the hopes that you may be able to help me locate interested citizens who would be able to speak on behalf of this important legislation. This bill is to help officers be proactive and catch these predators in stings and put them behind bars, and we would appreciate any support that you might be willing to offer. I appreciate any assistance you may be able to offer. Sincerely, Peter Voderberg Legislative Aide to: Tim Schaffer, 31st District Ohio Senate (614) 466-5838  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
