Also, put a little bit of information about the group, what members do there, and how active it is so that we can decide if we want to join right on the spot!
Friends of Feral Cats
180 members
Here's the description:
For feral cat caretakers and advocates, a place to get advice, discuss feral cat issues and TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) implementation, take part in calls to action, or just chat about the feral cats you care for. Because feral cats need friends too!
There's feral cat info and links there, so it can be used as a resource, and there are action alerts posted there too. And if you want advice on a feral cat problem, the members are more than happy to help. The group's gotten a lot more active lately than before because of the membership increase.
All in all, if you support non-lethal, humane methods of controlling feral cat populations, or if you care for a feral cat colony yourself, join! ![]()

Rat Health - http://www.care2.com/c2c/group/rat_health
Dedicated to sharing issues about rat healthcare and the latest breakthroughs (because rat parents know just how hard it is to get good healthcare for a rattie!)
Inter-species Buddies - http://www.care2.com/c2c/group/Inter_species_buddies
Not really about helping, but a source of warm-fuzzy stories about animals finding love in unexpected places.
The Whole Family - http://www.care2.com/c2c/group/WholeFamily
Spawned from the treatment of animals and pet lovers during Hurricane Katrina, this group is dedicated to making sure that sort of tragedy and short-sightedness never happens again. We believe that safety is for the whole family, not just the human members!
California Animal Lovers. It's all about....well, animals in California. Legislation, pet issues (like that pesky ferret law), resources, pet gossip, whatever
Please come check out our group to help Marine Mammals.
