I am trying to help a friend in Turkey with her petition to request an animal shelter for the stray dogs and cats. She is a member of the local animal association. This is the letter she has sent me:
"Turkey does remain shocking. Right now,we are working on a case in the Black Sea city of Zonguldak where a stray dog has been poisoned by the authorities,and a number of primary school kids gathered to watch the animal die - laughing and enjoying the suffering of the dog. Activists in the city are filing for criminal charges against the city. There is a picture of the poor dog on this link if you want to see it, but I need to tell you that it is a very disturbing picture".

We need as many signatures as we can get, because the officials here usually reject our requests for animal shelters saying the residents of the neighborhood don't want a shelter near them (which might be true because there are so many animal-haters in Turkey.This is a petition that will be addressed to the Turkish authorities for a new animal shelter to be built in the Cayyolu district of Ankara. Scores of stray animals desperately roam the streets of Cayyolu in search of food everday. Please help end their misery.

Even though this is Difficult to read, for probably most, the imformation need to be Out There, so that hopefully the Human Masses will band together to finally resolve All this Animal Abuse !. It is out of Control, and out Goverment does not see to see these types of abuses as a problem, so we cannot count on them to do anything positive. The People Who Care Must... Way to much Suffering has occured and this has to stop. Our dogs and cats are dying by the thousands everyday,in this country alone, and that is a National DisGrace that is mostly being kept Quiet by the Media !. Finally the media has been running commercials about Heart Worm Preventitive and Pedigree for Shelter Pets, however this is fairly new , so where have these subjects been in past years ?. The Media and Newspspaers have been Out To Lunch and Half Asleep !, AWOL, when it comes to protecting what Many Americans Cherish !, Our Dear Companion Animals. We are not a very good example to the rest of the world, that abuses their animals even worse than we do. People that read up on these items and stay current, know what I am talking about. We have seen the pictures, videos and read the Articles that are Grim to be able to say the best, which is not good at all. 
From the Bile Bears In China to the Whales in Alaska, they are All In Trouble and do need our help, so very much.
So many Millions of Dogs and Cats die every hour, worldwide, in Miserable, Horrendus Conditions !.
