How you can "use" The Great Invocation and... August 22, 2005 10:15 AM

The Great Invocation's symbol is the picture of this group. In Spanish named "El LotoEgoico" and The Great Invocation is: ____________________________________________________________________ THE GREAT INVOCATION From the point of Light within the Mind of God Let light stream forth into the minds of men. Let Light descend on Earth. From the point of Love within the Heart of God Let love stream forth into the hearts of men. May Christ return to Earth. From the centre where the Will of God is known Let purpose guide the little wills of men, The purpose which the Masters know and serve. From the centre which we call the race of men Let the Plan of Love and Light work out And may it seal the door where evil dwells. Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth. ____________________________________________________________________ You can "use" it very very easy, only saiyng it and thinking that what you are saying in The Great Invocation will be a "reality" so you can think it as well so you can "use" it in any plsce. The Great Invocation are only 140 words more or less so if you say The Great Invocation several times you'll learn The Great Invocation and you can think it in any place (in a bus, in your car,...) VERY IMPORTANT: You can think The Great Invocation in any place (when I say think The Great Invocation I mean to "say" The Great Invocation but mentally without "open your mouth") think The Great Invocation but thinking that all the things you are "asking for" in The Great Invocation will be a "reality" sooner or later. Don't worry about when one thing will be a "reality", when will be a "reality" another thing,... first one thing later another thing,... first in one place/s, then in another place/s. In a word: sooner or later all the things you "ask for" in The Great Invocation will be "a reality", I mean will be "real" things and look all the things The Great Invocation "ask for".  [ send green star]

Thanks again for publishing the Great Invocation on this site. I use it every two, two or three times a day, first in morning meditation, then in the evening with the Triangles work. In light, Namaste, ND  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

QUESTION August 31, 2005 11:49 PM

Jose, I have a question.  Hi.  This invocation appears to call forth the last days.  Do we really want to call the end times into being?

I would pray for peace on earth and for goodness and help and light.   But not for the end of the world.

Is this what is meant here?

The Great Invocation isn't about the end it is about aiding the birth of the new, helping humanity rise up a notch. It is asking for Light, which we are certainly getting, Light reveals all the *dirt and dust*; we ask for Love to infuse humanity and the Will to Good to be the will of humanity. At the moment humanity is governed by individualism, greed and materialism, collectively humanity has to relaise these are false ideals; humanity is living in a false reality. By saying the Invocation we are invoking the Higher Powers to assist and aid the shift in consciousness; to bring about *Heaven on Earth*. As one who has used the Invocation for many years I know it has a profound affect on the individual and as each individual makes the choice and effort to bring about a collective change, so it it will be.

Humanity has a lot of collective karma to deal with and none of us can escape that, what we have sown so we shall reap, so now we are endeavouring to build a better and more sustainable future, what we think, say and do now is what determines the future. Fear is what holds people to the old ways, yet fear is false also

Wishing you Love n Light in all that you do

A quote form DK

"All severing of links produces severe reactions. Yet if you could but realise it, the severing of outer physical plane links is the least severe and the most impermanent of all such events. Death itself is a part of the great illusion and only exists because of the veils which we have gathered around ourselves.......Reach up to the heights of the soul and having sought and found that pinnacle of peace and that altitude of joy whereon your soul immovably stands, then look into the world of living humanity-a threefold world in which all humanity, incarnate & discarnate are found. Find there that which your soul can & will recognise. The glamours of one's own distress, the maya of the past distorts one's point of view. Only the soul stands clear from illusion, and only the soul sees things as they really are. Mount therefore to the soul"

Good answer. I had never thought that the GI might be taken in the context of the "end times". What Christ meant when He talked about the "end" was the end of the Piscean era and the beginning of the Aquarian. He came (that time in Palestine) at the convergence of the Ages of Aries and Pisces, and will be with us this time 'round until the beginning of the Age of Capricorn.

So the world is not going to "end", we still have a very, very long journey ahead of us.

This is a great thread. Thanks, Jose, for starting it. Namaste, ND
