I'll try that co-host part. Having been on care2 for about a week and a half, i only drift through a load of threads. Seems like keeping things simple, would be a good idea. Which i guess can be done, just by tracking a thread you are writing on.
A total of eight host positions are open, so we have four open co-host positions available at the moment. Browse through the other threads in the red threads to see what is involved with being a co-host...
"Group hosts" are provided certain opportunities and responsibilities to help develop, manage and invigorate this group. There may be up to 8 hosts per group. Owners control host privileges and must include themselves as a host to receive host privileges.

Because I am anti-lying, invading, murdering and robbing, therefore, I am currently Anti-American.
So , if you don't mind having an anti-american as a co-host, I volunteer.
Hopefully , after Obama has a chance to restore freedom in America, I can be Pro-American once again.
LOL, good one Thomas... it is sad we have to joke about Obama restoring freedom in America, but the suppression of freedom and democracy, not to mention voting in the US is the current state of affairs.
Obama is fighting in his way, and we in ours, so we do have something in common. Our way is through non violence, and that makes a difference. The pen is mightier than the sword.
Political freedom and democracy in the US has been extinguished to a great degree. The Internet is one of the last bastions of pure freedom and democracy left. Care2 is one of those islands that is still relatively pure, not contaminated with corporate spin or propoganda. It represents the people... so here we are.
I am grateful we have that as well as our own inner spiritual development, which no one can extinguish.
Welcome aboard as a co host...
Please welcome Sapan Rinpoche as our new co-host. He has a unique spiritual background that I believe will add great interest and diversity to this group. I look forward to his shares, thoughts and contributions...
I am happy and humbled to be a new Co-Host of this AUSPICIOUS GROUP! Indeed, I have become a somewhat skilled Host and Co-Host in the 2-years, 4-months that I have been here on Care2. I do now OWN/HOST about 17 sites and Co-Host in a number of others! Care2 is kind of a HOME to me in my work as a Cyber*Lama on the Internet. I will let you see my Profile, or ask you to do so, to get a little better idea what it is that I do, and what my priorities are in this time.
PEACE ... for ALL HUMANKIND ... springs from my Tibetan Buddhist and Bodhisattva Aspirations.
My way of putting "Bodhicitta," the Enligntenment Thought dedicated to the aspiration to work for the benefit of all sentient beings [in Tibetan Buddhism that includes, in addition to the Humans, also the Gods, Demi-Gods or Titans, Animals, Hungary Ghosts (Disincarnate Spirits with small mouths that are constantly in pain from severe HUNGER, and because they come out and about at night, practitioners of Dharma -- the teachings of Buddhism -- are best encouraged to be careful with food at night! Imagine the misery of Hungary Ghosts at McDonalds, Burger King and so forth in this world!), the Hell-Beings (in Tib. Buddhism their are 8-Hot Hells, 8-Cold Hells, and 8-Auxillary Hells)] ... long note ... my aspiration is:
MAY ALL SENTIENT BEINGS BE FREE, HAPPY AND WITHOUT SUFFERING! ...usually, or commonly just expressed as:
May All Beings be Happy and Free From Suffering!
PEACE ... the great Aspiration of Thoughtful People, everywhere. Since Gandhi's time, and currently, so much expressed by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, and of course our American Nobel Peace Prize Laureatte, Martin Luther King, the intentional NON-VIOLENT MOVEMENT is the most encouraging pathway to peace.
THAT IS WHAT WE NEED IN THESE TUMULTUOUS TIMES: A PATHWAY TO PEACE! Each and every one of us, as the Dalai Lama often indicates, has a Universal Responsibility to advocate, work and pray for World Peace. It is simply our profound Moral Responsibility and our Political Responsibility and Spiritual, Mental, Emotional, Physical and Energy Responsibility as members of Humankind to ... find a Pathway for Peace! Simple ... and ... let us keep it simple! Also, there ARE complexities, and we have to use our intelligence and moral fiber/fibre to achieve the best results, always, that we can, working together, working with our extraordinary SYNERGY to arrive at a more and ultimately and exactly PEACEFUL WORLD! Just IMAGINE -- we can do it, and we really have to do it with savvy Non-Violent Methods. E Ma Ho! How wonderful! Sarva Mangalam!! All is AUSPICIOUS! And ... O(m) Mittakuye Oyasin!!! All my relations!!! SO MOTE IT BE! =sapan=
Everyone, please welcome Jillyanne Michelle Cape as our newest co host. I will let her introduce herself further if she desires to.
Everyone, please welcome Harmony Kieding as our newest co host. I will let her introduce herself further if she desires that.
Let's all welcome Sapan R., Thomas Panto and Michael D as new co hosts, so here we go... That makes a total of eight hosts for this group...

Since I tend to get all tongue-tied and self-conscious when asked to say a bit about myself, I thought this time I would opt for a simpler way and just copy for you all what I wrote on the front page of my website :

I believe there is a Source of all things, by whatever name we call it, and whether we are scientific, religious, atheist or agnostic. If we all have the willingness, we can live in a World beyond borders and enjoy being in a human family while respecting all our races.
We can find a way to include all of us, and live in mutual respect. I believe the World is my Family, and most of all, I believe we all can be friends.
Envision, if you will, an Earth that is healed, with all of us living upon it in awareness, co-operation, and peace. An Earth where we actually listen to one another and communicate in peace. An Earth where Abundance comes from the Source of it all. And where we are so filled with the joy of life and in fulfilling who we really are, that there is no energy or desire to make others wrong- only the energy to create, flow, and just be.

A survivor of homelessness, for another- and an advocate for solutions to this problem.
Along with many others, I share a deep concern for the growing trends toward criminalizing poverty and outlawing homelessness.
I hope you take a moment to read about "What Causes Homelessness?", and also "Stop Hate Crimes Against/Murders of Homeless People!!".
On this site you can find my personal links, plus links to conflict resolution and thoughts on harmony , Earth Changes, and Ancient Civilizations.
I am also involved with active-listening, focusing, and health.
My other loves include arts, media, Civil Liberty, music, science, reference, metaphysics, philosophy, holograms, holographic solutions, astrology, UFO encounters, paranormal experiences, channeling, etc. My website is devoted to all these and more.
Note: This site is updated frequently. Every week, I generally add 5-10 new links, plus new personal pages, so there is almost always something new to look at. Please make yourself at home, and come back often!

The Circle has healing power. In the Circle we are all

When in the Circle,

below you.
The Sacred Circle is designed to create unity.
The Hoop of Life is
also a circle.
On this hoop there is a place for every
species,
every race, every
tree, and every plant.
It is this completeness of Life
that must be respected
in
order to bring about health on this planet.
To understand
each other,
as the
ripples when a stone is tossed into the waters,
the
Circle starts small and
grows...
until it fills the whole lake.
