Stella J.	Group Rules - please read November 19, 2005 3:34 AM for the sake of clarity, I want everyone in the group to know exactly what our rules are. They are simple, straightforward and few in number. They are: 1) respect your fellow members. Be polite, no name calling or personal remarks. If things get heated, argue on the basis of what's been said, NOT the character of the person saying it. 2) No gossipping about other groups, including the posting of links to discussions in other groups. No gossipping about any care2 member who is not a member of Down With Dubya. What goes on in Care2 outside this group is none of our concern. This is a casual kind of group, we don't usually take things too seriously. But these rules ARE taken seriously, and we ask all group members to respect them. thank you, the group hosts. Just don't bring any extra gossip back to the group As far as the rules, I think they are simple enough for everyone to handle. At the ECF, we have alot more. We have terms and conditions for membership. But that is only because we started having problems, and wanted to avoid future problems. Hopefully it won't come to that here! November 19, 2005 12:42 PM I know you're joking Yvonne, but maybe that particular point needs to be clarified - jokes and good-humoured ribbing between friends is absolutely fine - that's what we're all about here. It's hostile remarks about fellow DWDers that are out of bounds. So, you can talk about me and bathroom walls all you like, and I'll talk about you being some kind of freakish ear-mutant and having an anti-bush militia in your basement all I like! Clear, everyone? Good! Also, can I just add that the reason these rules weren't posted before is because I thought they were common sense and didn't really need to be pinned here for all to see, but recent events have proven me wrong on that. Now there is no reason for doubt, and no-one can break a rule then claim they didn't know about it. Stella, xx [ send green star]
