Is there still a Karen Pentland from Ontario, Canada, on this list? Or perhaps someone who knows her or her troop?

Check it out - It's a great way to get the message across that one volunteer really can't do it by him/herself. I'm sure this would be useful in some way! -- Susan Wichers jmak@earthlink.net http://home.earthlink.net/~jmak/

We in Vermont had a major clothing/supplies drive and sent a dozen semis to Mississippi. When I was rounding things up, I only sent summer clothes because at the time I only heard that folks were going to Texas. I will keep that in mind for the next drive.

listed below is the compilation of responses for characteristics for Junior and Cadette and Senior age level girls.
I think the lists you're referring to are in the leaders' guides for each respective level. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the study materials for Studio2B there are characteristics of the older girls in 3 age groups - 11-3, 13-15, and 15-17. I do not know where else they are at the moment, but they are there. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ One source I know of is the book for camping training: Outdoor Education in Girl Scouting. The front of the book has these lists all together. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.girlguides.ca/default.asp?id=148
and under Leadership Development Program - Stage 1 you'll find the characteristics in the documents for Pathfinders and Senior Branches. (Canada) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Don't know if it will help, but did a search for Junior Girl Scout characteristics and after searching through some found this one in a pdf file that might help. I am in the Tanasi Council in Knoxville, TN area and in the swift waters service unit. I am interested in becoming a brownie leader to start a troop in my daughter's school. I was a girl scout for 10 years.
Welcome to our little group! We are not too active, but feel free to post a question and see what responses you get! Being a brownie leader can be a GREAT experience! We are not too far away from each other, just opposite ends of Tennessee! Welcome!

Hey Y'all!!! Nice to meet new friends. My family and I live in Louisiana and are Girl Scouts of the Bayou Council. We are also involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in our area. We will be moving to North Carolina sometime in March or April, don't know which town yet, still researching.

Hi Folks I'm from the UK and am a Brownie Guider of the 12th Portsmouth unit also known as Cathedral Brownies. I am also involved with the Rainbow unit (under 6s) and the Guides (over 11s). My unit is very busy doing camps and the like. I hope to share info with you folks.
In England we are called Brown Owl and I am very proud to be one after going through the ranks and getting to this position (my Guide captian said I would never amount to anything) so keep on going ladies.
Hello, I'm from PA, I'm sort of in two different councils, one for school and one at home, so I'll be joining the GS of the Heartland of PA, hopefully I'll be involved while I'm away at school!
I'm always excited to find groups that are Girl Scout oriented, it helps me stay in touch with my GS roots.
