All those Philosophers believed more or less in animated atoms, not in invisible specks of so-called 'brute' matter. Rotatory motion was generated in their views, by larger (read, more divine and pure) atoms forcing downwards other atoms, the lighter ones being thrust simultaneously upward. The esoteric meaning of this is the ever cyclic curve downward and upward of differentiated elements through intercyclic phases of existence, until each reaches again its starting point or birth place.

Spirals appear everywhere in our creation, in seashells, pine cones , animal horns and patterns of plant growth. They also appear in non-living natural objects such as galaxies and in non-living natural processes such as hurricanes or ocean waves.

Virtuous, the Roman architect and author of De Architecture, said, "Nature has designed the human body so that its members are duly proportioned to the frame as a whole." Studies show the proportions of phi (fibonacci) are found in man.

The average height for the navel of a man is .618 of the total body height. The same proportion is found between the bones of the human hand . The human body, including the head, has a Fibonacci five appendages attached to the torso. The hands and feet each have five fingers or toes. Our senses also number five, sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. The Fibonacci sequence has been found in the solar system. Planets with more than one moon have a Fibonacci correlation in the distance from the moons to the planet. A similar Fibonacci relationship holds true for the distance of the planets to the sun.

for reminding me about this. it is good to go back and take the voyage every now and again. this time i picked up more on the stargate aspect and am curious about it. it has come up again with ishtar's gate. i just watched the filme "stargate" last night.

i think it is a concept we need to open our minds to as it seems more real to me now that i have done more spiritual work.

i see two possibilies. one being the stargate to ones own soul and the portal one enters in doing this work. another is the possibility of the alignment coming up in 2012 which is supposed to open up a portal for us to enter, if we dare...

yes, it is a powerful time. i am about to pack it up and leave the city and prepare my body for higher vibrational frequencies. i sing as well and am interested in the healing tones. i have friends that study vibrational sound and participate in kirtans. i find it to be an extremely ecstatic experience.

as far as the mayan calendar, i have been studying for about 10 years. i can recommend one book that sums it up well and that is "The Mayan Factor" by Jose Arguelles whom i studies with in Tucson. there is a group i belong to called Dreamspell but the hosts aren't around there. the best way i have found to incorporate the subject into the Goddess Revival is under a thread that is pinned at the top on the subject of kundalini. you can go to that thread and enter your birthday for a reading and for your mayan glyph which is a start. other than that i will look up some sites where you can study this. there are also some great youtube videos on the subject that i posted in the Dreamspell group with Terence McKenna. Fearful folks say the world will end then but he says time and space as we know it will end but he is not exactly sure what that will look like. All i can say is break though the boxed in belief systems we have been programmed with and open yourself up to the mysteries and possibilies of something better... and the work we are doing here in balancing our brain hemispheres, raising our vibrations, etc. will prepare us for whatever it is... Exciting!
