Earth's Aura/Magnetic Field January 26, 2008 9:57 PM
There are many names for it but science supposedly has not discovered it yet. Quantum mechanics describes it.
It has difficult to describe but if you are familiar with any of the above terms you know what it is. If you have seen the northern lights, you have seen it... Earth's Aura... Look at it visualize and plug into it.
Nicola Tesla discovered how to harness this energy and use it via his Tesla Coil. His technology would have meant that everyone on the planet could have had an abundant, free, and clean source of energy. JP Morgan pulled funding and shut down Tesla because at the time Morgan was profiteering with Edison and the current dc technology. Here is a plasma ball based on the Tesla technology...
did I say dc, I meat ac electricy, sorry January 27, 2008 9:47 AM
anyway, here is a series of videos to help you learn how to plug into this. i have heard a lot of new age profiteers who want to sell all manner of gadgets to help you plug into this but i think we have to do it ourselves. i watched a little but not all. it is 8 part so may take a while to watch them all.
here is a url for a search that should make all 8 videos easy to find. it is called Vortex Energy and the Holy Grail...
The fountain video was interesting..... even if some of the ideas don't conform to mine. There is a notion that is called the "100th Monkey" based on studies of a particular group of primates in Japan. It would appear that there is a "critical mass" point in the aquisition of knowledge. Up to a certain point it is merely an indivual skill... but when it reaches that "critical mass" it seems to become a community idea... a community skill. It seems almost to exponentially jump from mind to mind. With the monkies studied the "critical mass" was 100... once the 99th monkey taught the skill to the 100th of the group the skill then seemed to become intuitive. The whole group just seemed to know it as if they had done it all their lives.
Whether such a thing really exists amongst humans has yet to be fully studied nor completely proven. Yet common sense would indicate that the more people who truly felt love.. who spent a large part of their day expressing it in any form... then it would only be logical that it would grab hold of everyone else. It is thought that ideas are almost like viruses in how they can shape us and then jump from person to person. Ideas like memes that Richard Dawkins speaks of. Even writers like William Burroughs have expressed the notion of ideas possessing a life of their own... like viruses. I have always believed that we are what we think....my whole life spent following the Buddha has shown me a great deal of truth in that idea.
Yet I think it doesn't have to be the domain only of religion and esoteric thinking.... no need for wishful thinking.. or supernatural beings or means for this to work. It seems to me to be a pure and simple human truth.. a truth for all life. You are what you think you are.... and we form our habitual patterns from the way we think and just as importantly from the ways others think of us and react to us. I think it really is as simple as changing your mind.. a world of love and peace just requires people to think that way. To let ourselves... allow ourselves to be that.
A great thread..... it has given me much food for contemplation. Even if I can't agree with all the forms of it, the content and intentions are good. That I don't agree with some of it really doesn't matter if it makes me/us think and question.
I actually thought I was posting this set earlier in my rush. I guess Goddess wanted you to see the others and now I understand why... (btw, pt. 8 is Mary Magdalen if you didn't figure that out already.)
This next set is more about plugging your body in to it. This is the knowledge went up in smoke with the witches and now we are here to reclaim it
We need to try to understand and absorb this informtion as quickly as we can. And like they said, if you don't understand love, you won't understand this and you won't have access to it's power. Knowing this has made it even more critical for me to work on understanding love in my own life and aweness of this energy makes me more aware of whether or not I or another person is coming from a place of love. That helps me to work on experiencing love on a deeper level which usually means heaving my way through some giant irrational fear...
I apologize for the poor quality of these videos but honestly I have not found anything else that quite sums it up like these do. On the next set he is pretty much reading and the graphics are horrible but if you listen while you are doing something else around the house probably several times, it will start to sink in.
In the meantime, I will be looking for a better explanation and exercises and if anyone else has anything to add to help us understand it is most welcome...
He actually did a great job with the graphics on part 5 and i really recommend viewing them. (the numbering is kinda screwed up there--not sure why but they all seem to be there... )
A View of Earth's Aura from the Moon January 31, 2008 11:00 AM
This photo was taken from the moon by Apollo 16. A ultraviolet camera was used with a lithium fluoride filter, exposed for 15 seconds.
The photo shows an positive electric field, comprised of hydrogen ions, around the Earth brought about by light photons knocking electrons out of their gas molecule orbits. This electrical field has outer layers that are +350,000 volts DC relative to ground, extending 16,000 miles into space. Longer exposures show that the geocorona extends to 100,000 miles.
The dark side of earth is to the right and here you can see a real force potential that we rightly can call "The Power of Darkness."
Although the cause has been only recently discovered, broadcast engineers have had to deal with its harmful effects to radio equipment from the very beginning. Special resonate coils are installed on all antenna towers that are not grounded to drain off this nuisance energy.
Nikola Tesla, the true inventor of radio, writes about his experiences; "... The truth is this. In the air the potential increases at the rate of about fifty volts per foot between the upper and lower ends of the antenna. The masses of the charged atmosphere are constantly in motion and give up electricity to the conductor, not continuously but rather disruptively, this producing a grinding noise in a sensitive telephonic receiver. The higher the terminal and the greater the space encompast by the wires, the more pronounced is the effect ..."
As we can see from the photograph, the energy at night is much more pronounced near the equator. At the above rate, the day time voltage at the top of a 400 foot pyramid would be about 20,000 volts. However at night, the voltage would be a couple of hundred thousand volts around midnight.
This is another color-enhanced ultraviolet photograph of Earth, taken from the moon.
Sensitive to radiation unseen by the human eye, the camera recorded oxygen levels surrounding the earth at various altitudes — a look at the upper atmosphere that could benefit communications and help measure long-term effects of air pollution.

Natural VLF radio signals tell a great deal of what is happening with Earth's
"near-space weather," that is, what is going on between the Sun and Earth.
Invisible weather to our eyes but just as wild and stormy at times as the
weather "down here." To find out about space weather happening at any given
moment, visit www.spaceweather.com

Many listeners to natural VLF radio note how the majority of these recordings
of Earth's beautiful Natural VLF Radio sounds closely resemble biological/vocal
sounds made by birds, frogs, whales, seals, etc. (or sci-fi sound effects). As
we begin a new Solar-Cycle (#23) and see increasing numbers of sunspots and
associated magnetic-storms and disturbances here on Earth, we're already seeing
an upsurge in naturally-occurring VLF phenomena. Because we are now in the
sunspot peak (over the years 2000 - 2002), we're entering a fabulous time once
again to listen to radio signals below 10 kHz.

I found all of this information amazing, uplifting and enlightening. Thank you all so much for researching and posting all of this info for us. You all rock!!!!
Blessings Artisina and thanks for showin' some luv... March 13, 2009 9:48 AM
LUCKY AURORAS:
Friday the 13th could be a lucky day for Arctic sky watchers. A
solar wind stream is heading for Earth, and NOAA forecasters estimate
a 30% chance of geomagnetic activity when it arrives on March 13th.
Stay tuned for Northern Lights at the end of the week: gallery.

Wonderful thread...still working my way through it. I noticed another article on the "God particle" today. Closer to Finding God Particle
They still do not have the big collider working, but everything is drawing in closer...and, frightening me. We play, like children, withforces we know nothing about, forces we do not truly understand. Yes, it is fascinating, but, the majority of today's humans seem to have no "common sense" no maturity, no understanding of the "big picture." I know I am not expressing myself very well, but, I have an uneasy feeling and have been having strange, unnerving dreams. I pray to the Goddess to save us from ourselves and to keep us from doing further great harm to this incredible, miraculous Earth upon which we chimps sit.
Blessings Armena, keep praying and transcend fear... March 16, 2009 11:39 AM
AURORA WATCH:
A solar wind stream hit Earth on March 13th, sparking colorful Northern
Lights around the Arctic Circle. Aurora tour guide Kjetil Skogli
sends this picture from Tromsø, Norway:
"The moonlight was very bright--but not bright enough to overwhelm
the aurora borealis," says Skogli. "There were several
outbursts, which I photographed using my Canon
5D."
Another solar wind stream is heading for Earth, due to arrive on
or about March 20th. Arctic sky watchers should
be alert for auroras on the first night of Spring.
AURORA BLARNEYALIS:
Green auroras over Greenland? It must be St. Patrick's Day. The
celebration began last night with this display over Nuuk:
"They were not the most powerful auroras," says photographer
Thomas Bojer Eltorpbut, "but it was such a beautiful display."
He took the picture by opening the shutter of his Nikon
D3 for 90 seconds at ISO 1600.
More green is in the offing. A solar wind stream is heading for
Earth, and it could spark even stronger geomagnetic activity when
arrives on or about March 20th. Arctic sky watchers
should be alert for auroras on the first night of Spring.
AURORA WATCH:
On August 30th, a gust of solar wind hit Earth and sparked auroras
so bright they were visible in arctic twilight. This is what the
sky looked like over Tromso, Norway:
"What a pleasure to be outdoors on a late-summer evening with
a warm breeze and the auroras dancing overhead," says photographer
Kjetil Skogli. "I took the picture using a Canon
5D Mark II."
More auroras are in the offing. A solar wind stream is heading for
Earth and it could spark a geomagnetic storm when it arrives on
Sept. 3rd or 4th. Residents of Alaska, Canada, Iceland and Scandinavia
should keep an eye on the sky in the nights ahead.
To a first approximation, the Earth's magnetic field resembles that of an enormous bar magnet. The field lines emerge from the southern half of the earth and re-enter in the northern half. Several features of the Earth's field vary in a predictable way across the surface of the globe and might, in principle, be used in assessing geographic position. For example, at each location on the Earth, the field lines intersect the Earth's surface at a specific angle of inclination. On the diagram above, note that near the equator, the field lines are approximately parallel to the Earth's surface; the inclination angle in this region is said to be 0 degrees. As one travels north from the equator, however, the field lines become progressively steeper. At the magnetic pole, the field lines are directed almost straight down into the Earth and the inclination is said to be 90 degrees. Thus, inclination angle varies with latitude. As a consequence, an animal that has the ability to distinguish between magnetic inclination angles has a mechanism that it might be able to use to approximate its latitude.
A second geomagnetic parameter that varies across the surface of the Earth is the strength or intensity of the field. Although intensity varies somewhat less predictably than inclination, the general trend is that the field is strongest near the magnetic poles and is weakest near the equator.
Some animals appear to use the small geographic differences in the Earth's magentic field to estimate their position. Because this information provides an estimate of location it is sometimes referred to as a magnetic map. This hypothesis is the subject of much debate and study among scientists who study animal navigation.
Thanks for your contributions ladies. It seems like a time when science and spirituality are going to meet. The Earth is a living being, and so is the Moon. We just need to find the place of balance...
I find it really interesting in the documentary above they say as the planet continues to lose magnetics, eventually there will be auroras all over the globe, not just at the poles... only time will tell but according to Jose Arguelles people are already seeing them...
Looks like a female Angel to me... October 26, 2009 9:56 AM
NORTHERN
LIGHTS: A solar wind stream hit Earth on
Oct. 24th and sparked geomagnetic storms around the Arctic
Circle. "The auroras were extremely active with fast
moving curtains of green, blue and red," reports Niels
Giroud of Mo i Rana, Norway, who recorded the scene using
a Nikon
D200:
Coming just a week before Halloween, the ghoulish
display was appropriately spooky-looking. But it can't hold
a pumpkin's candle to the Halloween
storms of 2003 when blood-red Northern Lights startled
sky watchers as far south as Florida and Texas. A movie from
NASA recalls the chilling tale: 6
MB or 32
MB mpeg.
"On Oct. 30th, the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) near Earth tilted south, an orientation that weakens our planet's magnetic defenses against solar wind." The Interplanetary Magnetic
Field It comes from the Sun!
During solar minimum the Sun's magnetic
field, like Earth's, resembles that of an iron bar magnet, with
great closed loops near the equator and open field lines near
the poles. Scientists call such a field a "dipole."
The Sun's dipolar field is about as strong as a refrigerator magnet,
or 50 gauss. Earth's magnetic field is 100 times weaker.
During
the years around solar maximum (2000 and 2001 are good examples)
spots pepper the face of the Sun. Sunspots are places where intense
magnetic loops -- hundreds of times stronger than the ambient
dipole field -- poke through the photosphere. Sunspot magnetic
fields overwhelm the underlying dipole; as a result, the Sun's
magnetic field near the surface of the star becomes tangled and
complicated.
The Sun's magnetic field isn't confined
to the immediate vicinity of our star. The solar
wind carries it throughout the solar system. Out among the
planets we call the Sun's magnetic field the "Interplanetary
Magnetic Field" or "IMF."
Because the Sun rotates (once every 27 days) the IMF has a spiral
shape -- named the "Parker
spiral" after the scientist who first described it.
Above:
Steve Suess (NASA/MSFC) prepared this figure, which shows the
Sun's spiraling magnetic field from a vantage point ~100 AU from
the Sun.
Earth has a magnetic field, too. It forms
a bubble around our planet called the magnetosphere,
which deflects solar wind gusts. (Mars, which does not have a
protective magnetosphere, has lost much of its atmosphere as a
result of solar
wind erosion.) Earth's magnetic field and the IMF come into
contact at the magnetopause:
a place where the magnetosphere meets the solar wind. Earth's
magnetic field points north at the magnetopause. If the IMF points
south -- a condition scientists call "southward Bz"
-- then the IMF can partially cancel Earth's magnetic field at
the point of contact.
"When Bz is south, that
is, opposite Earth's magnetic field, the two fields link up,"
explains Christopher Russell, a Professor of Geophysics and Space
Physics at UCLA. "You can then follow a field line from Earth
directly into the solar wind" -- or from the solar wind to
Earth. South-pointing Bz's open a door through which
energy from the solar wind can reach Earth's atmosphere!
Southward Bz's often herald widespread
auroras, triggered by solar wind gusts or coronal mass ejections
that are able to inject energy into our planet's magnetosphere.
