Welcome! Introductions 3 February 03, 2008 9:44 AM
This is about one of my favorite subjects so i look forward to some thoughtful discussion here. Maybe we on care2 are the 'choir' but there is a parallel between the abuse, exploitation and undervaluement of our Mother Earth--symbol of Divine Mother, and of women (and compassionate/sensitive men). maybe here we can individually find the strength to go up against that harshness in our own lives while helping to somehow to bring things into balance on our planet by learning from ancient myths and one another.
Aloha no from Honolulu, Hawaii. A big Mahalo to all of you for excepting me in your group. The Goddess that speaks to me is Aumakua Madam Pele, she has seen me thru an awful lot, & taught me alot about life in general. May the Goddess in all of us shine our light in love.
Aloha & Welcome to the Group Jennie! February 08, 2008 10:05 AM
Pele has been speaking to me lately. I don't believe we have a thread about her here yet if you'd like to share some things about her feel free to start a thread...
Welcome! How nice to be in Hawaii & called to HI ! I wished I would have visited when my daughter was there for 6 months. Well, now when I visit I will have friends to see there. Many blessings of love in abundance to you Jennie.

Thank you for allowing me to join your group. I follow the beautiful goddess Diana. In here I find peace, acceptance and love. I hope to make many friends here and do a lot of good.
Thank you for the invite and Happy Valentines to all! i look forward to participating and learning from all of you lovely souls! Since I see so many familiar faces in the group, I expect this to be a most enlightening site.
In general, I am a Gemini from the wonderful state of Texas and have a wide variety of interests. I have loved learning web design and have been teaching myself. I love my computer and all technology! I am learning the Egyptian use of oils for natural skin care and scents; I LOVE to learn! Since the down sizing of the company I worked for, I have a lot more time. I love good mystery novel series (OH, give me forensic details), astronomy, nature & archaeology. I am an amateur anthropologist interested in Celtic, Egyptian, Incas, Mayan, Aztec & Native American civilizations. I have an almost neurotic obsession for BIG cats, butterflies, roses and waterfalls. I support "Save the Tiger", one of the most magnificent creatures on the face of this earth. From age three I have had a fascination with rocks, crystals and minerals. My collection is extensive and holds many beautiful companion stones!
On a personal note, My husband moved on to Summerland in 1991, I miss him dearly. I am nursing caregiver to a very special young man, our son Russell who is 20. His nickname is Mr. Smiley.
I am a pagan at heart, Air to inspire, Fire to bring desire, Water as my healer, Earth as my church, the Goddess/God within...
May we all walk in love & light,

Hello and merry meet!
Alice here, always been a pagan, witchy kinda gal. I love the runes, tarot, and I too have a huge collection of rocks. But what is a "companion stone"?? Years ago I owned a really cool new age gallery in Martha's Vineyard. Now I am fight cancer again and reviving a non profit I had. This time if for stage 4 cancer, that's the end of the line folks. No cure..... I invite all to visit my websites.

Thank you very much Donna! March 06, 2008 12:10 PM
Hello EveryOne!
It's wonderful to see familiar and new faces joining us here and enjoying the 'space'!
I too love learning and have a penchant for anthropology & archaeology, the older the 'history' the more interesting to me! I have even been involved in a real archeaological dig when I was in college, we did a salvage job for the provincial gov't. and removed the remains of several bodies that were in turn returned to their Native descendents for an honouring ceremony and reburial. The site was occupied btwn 1500 and 3500 years ago.
I do not subscribe to any systems but I am a natural 'wyse woman' and have been known to 'manifest things'...
I look forward to getting to know you all more, Ally
Welcome Teresa I am so glad you joined with us here, I look forward to you sharing with us. Please apologize for me missing you earlier, I think what I need to do is open two pages and write off the other one because I invariably forget something that I want to say when I am writing!
Welcome Debra too! I am sorry I missed you earlier too, it was you that got me going on the archaeology part! I too love all those ancient cultures, more than the others. When I was in college I heavily focused on the anthropology, archeaology, art history and religions of the Americas, I just loved it! Teotihuacan just mesmerized me, the natural cave that faces directly at a summer solstice placement, just wow! Now a whole pyramid dedicated to the sun us there! When I read this I could see sparks flying, like crystals being hit against each other, creating a charge... Later while doing some research on a different subject I found a reference to exactly that, there were crystal bits on the floor in a certain chamber. The tunnel thing always has fascinated me too. Anyone else have these associations?
Yes Donna, it was an amazing dig!!! Several adventures came from that summer! lol I had a spirit come home with me one day, I felt myself being watched when I was in the shower and then I saw it's grey shadow in my apartment as I was getting dressed, a male, I guess we had awoken him, disturbed him and he found me interesting or something! LOL I directed him to the light, he left immediately but I was never sure if he just left me (he also went into my fellow digger's home with her too) or went elsewhere, he might have been interested in seeing how everything was these days! lol I hope he went straight to the light.
One of the best finds was at about a 5000 year old level, well beyond any permanent habitation, it was a fire hearth, with an eagle talon in it. It was very auspicious and very special. I missed the find though, my dad's mother passed away during the middle of field school and I had to take a week off and go to the other side of Alberta.
Great memories all in all.
Blessed be, Ally

I am very glad I did, too. I have only gotten through a couple threads with videos and just absorbed the wonderful sharing of information and joy. As we are all One within this Divine consciousness of growth and New changes to come for Mankind, I am tremendously happy to learn that others are of like-mind, and seek similar truths and knowledge, as I do. I hope to read all I can and discuss more wonderful subjects. Much Love and Peace...Namaste, Dar

Many thanks for accepting me to your wonderful group. I have been a Pagan since 1982 and I follow the Norse goddess Sunna. Look forward to reading the threads here and making new friends.
Just thought I'd say hi and tell you a bit about me.I'm a 37 year old Aussie from the Blue Mountains World Heritage area. I've been married to a gorgeous man for 11 years now and we have two awesome indigo/crystal children. I'm a Reiki Master and Australian Bush Flower Essence Practitioner. I love everything to do with nature and spend as much time outside as I can. I was raised Catholic, and have since explored many other religions and spiritual practices. Today I would consider myself spiritual but definetely not religious. I look forward to making new friends and meeting new people.

Hi all, thank you for the invite. I don't necessarily call my self a pagan, I more call myself a witch. I have followed this path since I was 13, and I am called to by the goddess Morrighan. She picked me not the other way around. Thanks all for the welcome.

Goddess as Survival and In Forests as in errrrrr moi !
Hello. Brightest Blessings to all! Sorry it has taken me so long to introduce myself to the group, but I have been out of town visiting family. I want to thank you for the invite. This is a very beautiful group with great energy in it. I hope to start reading all the topics now that I am settled back in. I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!
The true light will always prevail and you carry that light in a big way. I have noticed some folks getting 'lost' from some of my groups, mostly Temple of Inanna. Some of them I noticed and asked them why they left and they said they never left... Marc is such an Angel spirit and give much thanks to him for his assitance... Welcome back my Angel friend!
Thank you for inviting me here, I wish all of you blessings and light and I hope to learn more about the goddess within me and how I can spread my light inside to others...
im from the UK - i may know some of you as i used to be on care2 but came off for a while and had to start a new account. Im a witch, priestess, author and mum - organise the canterbury Goddess circle in kent and the project coordinator for the canterbury Goddess centre - a project to get a centre or temple open in the area.
I follow a Pagan path, and worship the Goddess in all her forms, although I am particularly drawn to Isis. I do some energy healing and work with Light & Love, and realize there is always so much more for me to learn. This seems like a wonderful group and I look forward to participating.
Thanks for the invite and welcome. Not much time this morning to post a proper intro. But any who are interested are welcome to check out my website at www.ancestralcoalescence.net to find out just about anything about me you wish, and then some. The website has a brand new newsletter launching this Wednesday on the Full Moon. I invite you to check it out. I hope to become a contributing member here and look forward to meeting you all.
Blessed Bee and Welcome Dominique June 17, 2008 9:29 AM
Now that you mention it I think I can remember the first time I 'felt' the Earth or Goddess. I was hiking in North Georgia and was overwhelmed with a connection to nature that made me cry and I knew that would always be my only 'church'. Much love...
Hello, Thank you for the invitation. My name is Sara- My beautiful soul sister Megan introduced to me to this beautiful group of Goddess Chants.
I was mesmerized by the beauty of it all from the first time she brought me here. I am looking for peace and balance in my life and believe that it is here that I will find it along with the Goddess.
Namaste!

I'm so glad this place provides beauty and comfort. The group is a continued source of inspiration for me which I can't help but to share. It is so comforting to me to know that all of you are here, wherever you are in the world and that we are still here together during this transition into something new and exciting for us and our planet...
I am a new member and have only been active in Care2 groups for about three weeks.
I am 32 yr. woman, wife, mother, writer, student and net activist.
Been married to my Brahman husband for 11 years, have three young
boys. I went back to school after my second son was born to get my GED
and now am nearly finished with my Associates degree in History, will
work on Anthropology for the Bachelor's.
I've been writing for release since I was 13, been published in
local newspapers when younger. Also learned photography and theatrical
self-esteem for children as a teen.
Now I am focusing on my family and schooling as well as blogging on
current affairs, humanitarian issues and just recently on my spiritual
experience.
I have always felt protected in my life though I had a dangerous
childhood and adolescence. I have had several experiences of astral
projection, trance enducement and levitating, though all were done
unconsciously, witnessed by others but not recognized by myself in the
moment.
After meeting my husband I became interested in Vedic Science and
found the base of my beliefs. I am now utilizing yoga, chanting,
meditation private and mass toward a conscious effort of enlightenment
and release.
I have been serendipitiously led to so much new information and feel
like my life's worth of learning is falling into place. I am a
researcher at heart, always after information and sharing whatever I
find, now I am removing myself from the hermitage so to say to practice
what I've learned.
I look forward to the connections made through this channel.
Bright blessings and thank you Dancing Dove for the warm welcome. I haven't been active in this group much but very much enjoy reading the threads and looking at the lovely pictures.
As Sara mentioned this group is very calming and relaxing. I am excited that Sara joined and look forward to further discussions.
Blessings
Megan
My apologies for neglecting to introduce myself previously.
With my life on the path to total confusion and chaos, I believe Eris maybe a spiritual companion of late.. My wish, once past it, is to rise above and be stronger of mind and body.
I look forward to chatting and getting to know you
Group HistoryJust a quick hello and intro from Cat Warrior Tuesday, 8:19 AM
Hi!
I just wanted to intro myself... My name is Andi and i've been a
goddess addict a long time... probably as long as I've been a woman! I
have worked extensively with Lilith, Bast, and Sekhmet, and I'm always
open to new ideas and goddess/heroine forms!
hey guys! my name is Lacey and I got invited to the group by Jenna, I am so excited to be here! I am jealous of all the gorgeous pictures that you all post! where in the world did you find all of them! i am really looking forward to sharing and posting with you guys!!
Welcome and Blessings Lacey September 26, 2008 1:30 PM
Take whatever images you want. They are here for the sharing. I just do searches on google images and photobucket for whatever image I feel inspired by at a given time and see what comes up. I just found this site: http://www.maagsbags.com/pagan-clip-art.html
Hello all, and thank you for accepting me into the group. I'm really searching for spiritual fellowship. I think I may have been on my path alone for sometime, and now is the time I feel compelled to seek out others. I wasn't even looking for this site when I found it, but I knew when I saw it that this could be the place I've been searching for. And now I'm just talking in circles
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone. Have a wonderful week!
May the Goddess bless and protect us all. May we listen and hear.
I don't get to spend as much time in here as I used to. It would be great to have some co-hosts to check in once a week or so. If anyone is interested contact me via NM and I can let you know what I need and if it fits in with what some of you could offer. I anticipate spending even less time here next year...

Greetings of Joy to Goddesses! December 12, 2008 6:10 AM
Thank you for the beautiful welcome...my name is Sanda, Yellow Planetary Sun
In Lak*ech!
Within every woman there is a wild and natural creature, a powerful force, filled with good instincts, passionate creativity, and ageless knowing. Her name is Wild Woman, but she is an endangered species. fromthe Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Ph.D.
Are you homosapien or wolverine? Are you something in between? Does your hair have that sheen? That on a wolf the world has seen? Do you keep your friends as your pack? Guarding them from all attack? With partner sleeping back to back? To cover tracks do you doubleback? When the moon is up do you howl? Do you make your challengers cowl? In fear of being disembowled, When e're you growl your fearful growl? Are you faithful to the end? Prepared all energies to expend For those you choose to call a friend? Yes, Wild Woman, you're a Godsend.
Aloha! Thank you for the add...I have become acquainted with She of 10000 Names within the last three years, and have been following the Dianic path since with a local group. Aphrodite is most close to me, in her dark aspect as I work with death on a daily basis as a death midwife...I look forward to meeting all of you!
Hello, I am Angela... wanting to connect with the Goddess within. I happened across this group the other day and felt it would be instrumental and chance to connect with others.
Thanks, Dancing Dove, for the invitation. I almost did not join as I can barely keep up with the email from the other groups I am in plus my friends, plus the requests from others on the main page. But, I could not resist the temptation to see who is here and what's goin' on, lol.
About me, well it is all on my page, but, in short, I am 66 y/o; that would be Crone. I was a single parent until the fledgling (now 31 y/o) left the nest. I am a retired Registered Nurse who is very much enjoying every minute of my newly won freedom, even when I am snowed in and shoveling like a slavey to reach the mailbox, lol. I have always been pagan though I did not learn I was a witch until about ten years ago. ~Magickal Graphics~
As many, I am a solitary, a wood, hedge and kitchen witch, lovingly gardening my trees, organic fruits and vegetables, and, of course, herbs (such an important part of the witch's cabinet. I am starting some seeds now and going through catalogues for whatever I am low on, ran out of, or would like to give it a try. I would be collecting sap from my sugar trees, but, I cannot get to the trees for the deep snow. Need to get some lightweight, short snowshoes (been saying that for years).
I brought my tea plant inside this winter and it almost died. But, it hung in there just long enough to reach the strengthening sun and is now leafing up beautifully.
Any others like me here? Any gardeners? Would love tio hear from you. Now I shall go exploring as I have as yet to check in all the crannies in this place. Blessed Be!
You can set it up so the posts don't come to your email so hopefully we won't spam you out...
I just burned my hand it the kitchen yesterday and used my aloe vera plant and today no sign of the burn. Was just thinking how every kitchen witch needs an aloe plant in the kitchen. Since mine is overflowing with babies will repot soon and give the babies away as gifts...
