AI has a strict mandate that must be adhered to in order to preserve the integrity of Amnesty.  We must be discerning in our posts.  I always recall the case of Nelson Mandela, who could not be adopted by AI because he had advocated violent resistance, no matter how popular his cause was.  That is the way it has to be.  Thanks for raising the issue, Kristi.
