anonymous MAY: Mental Health Month May 03, 2005 7:59 AM

http://www.nmha.org/may/index.cfm Each May for more than 50 years, Mental Health Month has improved the health and lives of millions of Americans. This year, we want even more people to know that caring for their minds, as well as their bodies, is good for overall health and key to their success at home, at work and at school. Let’s send our message louder than ever — everywhere we live, work, learn and play. The theme for this year’s observance is MIND Your Health, which focuses on the mind-body connection. It highlights the latest research that draws more clearly than ever the link between our mental and physical health. We encourage you to join the fight for mental health this May and throughout the year. The materials offered here contain all the information you’ll need to plan and launch a successful Mental Health Month campaign in your community! Materials Now Available Online! For the first time this year, we’ve conveniently posted for download all general Mental Health Month materials online. Choose from the wide variety of materials listed to the right, which offer planning, activity, educational and media outreach resources you can use to engage your community in this important mission — all free of charge! Refer your colleagues here, so they can do the same! [continued...]  [report anonymous abuse]  [ accepted]
