Gender-Based Violence in Iraq December 13, 2007 3:08 PM

MADRE is an international women's rights organization. Confronting violence against women and children is one of our principal programs, and we work in many countries around the world providing advocacy, education, and humanitarian aid. We recently (this past March) released a report about the issue of violence against women in Iraq. To see the full report, please go to: http://madre.org/press/iraqreport.html We have been working to raise both funds and awareness around this issue (and many others related to women's human rights) over the past year, and we hope to continue in this direction through the upcoming year. We would love to hear your feedback, thoughts, and ideas. Please join our care2 group (MADRE at http://www.care2.com/c2c/group/MADRE) and go to our website at www.madre.org.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
