Mostly. The midwest especially. Most of the best metal is spawned here, and the crowds are the most hardcore anywhere. Hell, I went to see SlipKnoT in Milwaukee last week, there were people getting wheeled out on strechers, People with bloody noses, mouths, eyes.(ouch) The crowd surges towards the barricades in a teeming mass. I made it to about four rows from the stage and had to turn back. Took every thing I had to beat people back so I had enough room to breathe. There wasn't just one mosh pit either. I saw three, but I think there was more. Sid(from SlipKnoT) jumped off of the balcony onto the crowd and got mobbed. And this was on a tuesday night. Now that is hardcore. We like our metal, really we do.
Do you like any industrial music? Skinny Puppy, KMFDM, Psychic TV, Throbbing Gristle, NIN?
I'm confused. Didn't Psychic T.V. become Throbbing Gristle? Either T.G. or the Revolting Cocks. I used to know these things. Or did Skinny Puppy become T. Gristle. I could guess all day, but it would probably be easier if you just reminded me who Throbbing Gristle was previously. Before I go insane trying to remember. You just threw some bands at me that I haven't seen or thought about in 10+ years. Let's see. Ministry (new wave) became Ministry (industrial) who became Skinny Puppy, who then became, I think the Revolting Cocks. Please confirm or correct my memory on this issue.
Revolting Cocks is a sideproject of Ministry.
Throbbing Gristle became Psychic TV and then one of the memebrs left and joined Coil.
When Skinny Puppy originally broke up, they did Download, Hilt, Welt and a bunch of other bands. Mostly cEvin did Tear Garden.
