Hi everyone, this is a new mug shot thread, and it for our members mug shots. The human members actually, but you can be holding a cat if you like. You MUST be in the picture.
I love that picture of you CC. You are so cute, and have a nice sweet smile.
Sandrea, what can I say. I love it!!! You are the perfect typo cop. That Deb is a so creative. Nice job Deb! You see Sandrea, you would make a good Mary on the In plain site show. You would be a US Marshall. It is the perfect show for you, and especially since you are the typo cop!
I have only watched bits and pieces of In Plain Site. Mary is a US Marshall, and it is her job to protect people who they have to move because they are going to testify against them.
Now, She sometimes wears sunglasses like you, but mostly it is your personality that comes across in your emails and posts, that say the part should be yours. Every time I see her I think of you. Gee, maybe if she quits her job, you can go and get it.
OK. Now the person who Mary the US Marshall is hiding, is testifying against a criminal. They have to leave all of their family and life, and job and friends forever and ever, and get a name change too. I am going to watch the show some day. I usually see previews when I am watching my scientific horrow show called HOUSE. The doctor who likes to biopsi people. AND, put them in that open coffin they call an MRI/. I just throw the covers over my head at that point. ewwww
What are those things at your head, Gaily? Feathers? And I don't think Donna meant you look old in your profile pic I think she just meant that your mug shot here makes you look like a teenager!! It's a cute pic! Sandrea Leave it to you - Joy, we are glad that you didn't mimic the statue 100% for the photo, though!! Good pic! Looks like you had some fun!
I think I will share some old photos of me that I recently found while going through the photo box. The first is me and my dad and some rather questionable characters taken at Knott's Berry Farm - southern California - in the early '50s.
This next one is me all decked out in my Sunday best - can you believe the bow??
And here I am . . . uh . . . looks like I was caught doing something I wasn't supposed to be doing
I have a few more, but I guess I will share them later since care2 is acting up again.
Aw, Deb... you look so cute! Your dad looks like he's in a serious confersation with the "fellow" on his right That's a big bow in your hair I love that "caught in the act" pic
Deb, those are really cute! The old t.v. in the last one is a real memory - so many people have those huge flat screens now.
I remember those old miners on the bench at Knott's Berry Farm! My family lived close to there, we went there often in the 50's and 60's - that was way before they started charging admission. One of the shops there, I think it was called Virginia's(?) was our favorite place for Christmas shopping.
Awww, those pictures are so cute. I love the one with the bow too. I can see that your Mother enjoyed cutting bangs like mine did, but mine got carried away.
Oh yeah - isn't that TV a kick?? Thanks ladies - re cute kid! I will post some more soon. My Dad was always doing really silly stuff - I thought that pic was funny with him looking one way and me the other
I cleaned the spare room out today, and ran across this newspaper article. We were protesting a Horse supply place that was taking cats for cancer research. We ran them out of town. 2 animal rights groups were there. One from Down the shore, and another from around here. Students with cancer against research. One girl was in a cat costume, but they didn't get her picture I guess. I don't know what is on my leg. It could be a scratch in the newspaper article. I pulled it out of a small frame it was in.
There is an auto correct on my compu pic program. Auto crop and auto correct. I had never even checked it out until now. I had this about 5 years or more. Then there is something called sharpen too and colorize. I should experiment more.
Better late than never, Donna. Maybe they have a red eye fix too. I saw a program that would let you fix eyes and you could choose whether they where human eyes or furball eyes. I tried that on one of your pics where you didn't like one of your kitties eyes but it didn't work....maybe because the eye wasn't red but was gold. I put a black eye in that looked cool, but didn't think you'd appreciate that, lol...so I scrapped the whole deal.
I did the same thing before. I have the red eye thing, but not the one , if there is one, for gold or solid white or green. Even the red eye just takes the redness out, but it is a gray type of color.
Oh, I went to another protest of a rodeo, and told Jimmy I was going yard sailing. I was on the channel 3 news as big and clear as day. My whole head was there. I got paid a visit by someone who was dog fighting to warn me.

My pic with sunglasses on is all over the group, as it is, as Typo Cop, in a wanted poster, lol.... Here's one without glasses...Waiting for a ferry in PEI to take us back to NS.
You look great Sandrea. You have that Mary look about you. An on the go freedom loving girl. Just let your hair fly through the wind as you ride. No getting frantic over the wind messing up your new hair style.
Thanks, Donna! I know you don't mean Mary Tyler Moore, but now I have that theme song in my head...."Well it's you girl, and you should know it.
With each glance and every little movement you show it..."
Hey, Sandrea, you look great without sunglasses - you always look like you are having a good time, with or without the glasses. Donna, for some reason I was not surprised at all when I saw the newspaper clipping about the protest and there you were. Lol. And Gaily, that elephant shot is really cool. You look so pretty - what a big, beautiful smile! You look like you just love life in all your pics
Thanks, Deb. When I look at that pic I think I really should get out more! Gaily, Deb's right... you always looks so happy! Great to see...and how cool to hug an elephant's trunk!! Deb, that is an awesome chalk drawing...I love it!
Aw, your welcome, Sandrea And thanks about the chalk drawing - you too, Donna. My mom loved the big bows and told me she taped them to my head because my hair was so fine.
I never get in here for some reason-Deb that picture is beautiful and Gaily the shot of you with the ellie is amazing and Sandrea -I love that pic of you with the bike.
I just love the elephant picture. Where were you, Chaz? Here's a pic of me and one of my new friends swimming in the ocean over in the Bahamas. Yeah, I had a good time.
No, Sandrea, here's the one where you can actually see what fun I had. At UNEXSO, they have twenty some dolphins that live in a cove with a net across it. They can jump over the net and come and go as they please. Sharks, dolphins' main problem, cannot jump, therefore can't get into the cove. The dolphins are basically a bunch of couch potatos, who know where their food bowl is. They prefer to stay in the cove. The trainers stimulate them and teach them tricks. I had been wanting to do this for a long time. I had been in the water in the cove with them one trip, and last time I was there, I got rained out, cancelled. All I have to say is it was worth every penny and I'd do it again.
Hi Joy, boy what a big grin! Looks like you had a great time.
It's so great that those dolphins can come and go as they please. I'm sure they like the regular meals and being safe from sharks, but can get out in the open ocean if they feel like it. I do feel bad for the poor creatures in aquariums who don't have that option.
Early on, Deb had declared her love for and desire to have a cat as her companion. Her parents thought she should have a dog ... a fake dog at that! As you can see, she was NOT thrilled.
Joy, I gotta tell you, I am soooooooooo jealous of that swim with the dolphins!!! I'd have that kind of smile on my face to if I could do that some day! Thanks for sharing.
Val, that is a sweet Picture. I have pics up from 9 years ago, and some even early in the past mug shot threads. I hate my present ones, but I did post them anyway. Now my camera quit so I can't even take pics. I have an old camera around here some where for Jimmy to hook up for me.
Parents must think kids are dumb. There is a commercial on TV having something to do with that. The guy gives on kid a real horse, and other other a cut out horse.
Oh yeah, Donna ... as if the kids aren't going to be able to tell if the darn animal is real or a piece of paper!! Or in my case, a bunch of fake fur and stuffing. I remember getting that dog. I liked it, but it wasn't exactly what I had had in mind. cat - dog -
Here's me getting a 2 minute rest in the sun, while a ferry was coming in to take us across Country Harbour. This was on a trip we took last month on the Eastern Shore of the mainland of Nova Scotia.
Peter took this after The Illegal Eagles show in Blackburn, Lancashire (the place with 4000 holes) last Friday. Keith Atack lead guitar (and on my T-shirt) and Danny Vaughn, vocalist. Both brilliant musicians and very nice people.
Cool picture, Sheila!! You have such a great smile! So, what did you do to get this picture, get a backstage pass? Or do you know these guys?? I watched the vid on your page and they really do sound like The Eagles
We know them from going to so many of their concerts, usually on the front row! They're a decent bunch of guys who appreciate their fans and always come out to the bar or foyer after the show for a chat. 'Tribute' bands have become a big thing in the UK, some are good, some are a joke, but the Illegal Eagles are the very best.
Thanks, Phil.... I always try to stay awake on the job
Sheila...fantastic photo of you and the band. I think the Eagles were just tremendous. I too, watched the vid on your page and the Illegal Eagles are excellent!
Thanks Donna! I've been trying to change my profile pic for ages but it just won't happen. I even deleted the original from my album and put in a help request about it. Some people change pics regularly, so I'm getting frustrated now
This is turning into a rant, so I'm off to find another pencil to bite on....
