Please post your mug shot here. It should be a photo of yourself. You can have your kitty in the photo, but the main thing here is for us to see YOU. ![]()
Lorelai, you didn't scare anyone. I thought when I read your post that you told the thread to cancel my post.
I lost a post on one of the threads. That was a dumb thought though, like you could make my posts vanish. I have a picture of me from years ago somewhere, that I teased my hair straight out, and put white stuff on my face. It was a horror. Your sticking your tongue out is more cute. Mine was scary. ![]()
Could be fall or spring too, in Scotland
And you look good, and so does the picture Linda.
I meant my face was scary by itself especially at that large size on the screen. hahahaha I yelped when I scrolled down and saw it had posted even though i told it o cancel! And yep, I mean my pic, not your stuff Donna. ![]()
I know Lorelai, and the photo was pretty large on the screen too. You go from a small photo to a big one and it comes as a surprise. ![]()
I was frantic when I first got on the internet, as I told the world all about my story about my drinking, and then I wanted it gone. I was thinking that I was writing to one person. I wrote to care2 asking them to remove it, as the hosts had no deling privileges back then, and they said there was nothing wrong with it, and they liked it, so they left it there.
It was September week-end holiday in that photo, i went to stay with my older sister for the week-end. She lives on an island called Millport and it's such a sleepy laid back island. It was kinda windy that day but not too cold. I love going there and sitting down at the sea front listening to the sea and the birds.Lorelai, you had me laughing with your post trying to cancel it , i've done that before, great picture of you poking your tongue out.
Me again at 52 yrs old, and just getting on the internet. This is me with Freeloader.
My hair was lightened, but also lightening from the sun too, as back then I sat in the sun. My hair is still that long, but now mixed with gray. It actually just has a shimmering look to it, like it is highlighted. Oh, and I keep my hair up or back in a pony tail. It is otherwise in my road. I find that the long hair is easier to manage than short hair that has to be curled or blow dried , and then kept up at the hair dressers. Mine gets washed, let dry, or blow dry, and twisted up or in a pony tail. I also HAVE to wear my glasses now, and oh boy did I gain weight. ![]()
My sister keeps sending stuff, and then she says cancel, send back. The AOL from years ago had that feature where if someone didn't open it, you could retrieve it.
Here is me as I age. It was 6 years past the other ones, so I was 58 here.
The gray came when I hit about 60, and I will be 62 in about 6 weeks. The front tooth did not come out until less than a year ago. It is superglued in for the 3rd or 4th time, and it doesn't fit. It is longer than the one next to it.
I am so afraid of accidentally swallowing it if it comes out. I will spend my life on the toilet, or no, being a toilet watcher, for the tooth!!!!
Lorelai - I love that photo of you - you look like you're having a great time and like Donna said - the life of the party!
Linda - I like your photo too - the one of you sitting on the island. It's a really nice picture of you. Love the island too. Do you get there by ferry, or is there a bridge to it?
Donna - maybe you are thinking of this photo when you are thinking I was younger?
This is when I was 18 and the only photo I had of me on care2 back when I was cohosting.
This one was taken when I was 46. I am holding Minky who is desperately trying to tig the camera. And yes, he adores being held this way up
Complete contrast to Saki who rides on my shoulder and throttles my neck with his tail ![]()

Everyone looks great! I think we must all be self conscious about our pictures. I know I am b ecause I am so large. That phot was taken by my roomate, and I was feeling playful since he was teasing me
I have a really funny one I took of him but he's um, 'making a hand sign', so its not appropriate to post on a public venue.
had to
at Minky draped happily upside down in your arms, Val. Navajo does that too, and he's the same model of cat, except seal point instead of blue. Extra large, extra fluffy.
Hellooooo everyone on CAT LOVERS GROUP, Here I am! I know all of you were wondering what I looked like. Now all of you know who I am.
Feel better, LOL! Let's sharing a picture of all of you. Lets fun to see who they are to chat with. xoxosx's Irene

Screamingbelle, When I opened this thread, I was shocked and surprised because I thought someone was cloned of me, LOL. Thank u so very much to put this for me. It means a lot to me. I appreciated your help. ![]()
P.S. U looked so beautiful lady that loves cats.
Sandrea, Thank u for the compliment!
U looked so pretty. Thank u...Now I can see who u are and Donna. It's so nice chatting with u and Donna (Screamingbelle).
I know yr pictures were back in time. U were gorgeous back then. I know u are 62 that u mentioned to others while I read every message u wrote. No, I am not Lebanese....my family is not from India. I am an american! Your guess was wrong, lOL
I know lots of people thought I was from other countries because of the way I look. (weird) When they asked me where are u from. I said I was born here in Brooklyn, NY. MY family were born in Brooklyn. My great grandparents were born in Russia. I am not mixed like ethic which they think I am like u said. I wish I was a native american Indian. I love Indian. I dont know why. Maybe I had another life being a native American Indian. Who knows.
Irene,
I thought India, not Native American. I think what made me think that was your last name. I thought it sounded like it was from India.
Your great grandparents were from Russia ! My Grandmother was from Poland. My Mothers side was german and Irish, and far removed, was french and Spanish.

This was taken on thanksgiving day. I only had 2 photos to choose from, and I didn't care much for either one. Jimmy said I look like a 600 lb gorilla in this one. OH well. Maybe I will post the other one too that I lightened. Sometimes my cheeks turn a dark pink color. This is my great niece in the picture. My sister's daughter.
Nice photo Sally. It is nice to see who we are talking to. I don't think my picture looks like me, and actually, it portrays me as different. I am wearing a black jacket with shoulder pads.
He is the gorilla....
I look kind of stuffy in the first picture. I usually have my hair in a pony tail and am never dressed up, except for church. I love comfortable shabby clothes.
I surprised them when I wore a suit jacket there.
Thanks Donna. This was a pretty good picture of me and thought I'd use this. Gosh, Donna, back in your younger days you were a knock out, very pretty and that long hair, gorgeous. Do you still have longer hair? I don't think you look like a 600 lb. gorilla, shame on Jimmy. I think you look great for your age now. Every one is different.
Oh you all look great, i suppose women are just naturaly self conscious but you all look fabulous!!!!! I love all the oldie but goodie pics. Those are great.
Sally its great to see a pic of you.
Donna your niece is a little cutie pie. Shame shame on Jimmy. You dont look like a gorilla. Thats just horrible. You look great!
Sally,
That was a European fall that I was wearing in the one picture. In the picture of me when I was 52, that was my hair, and my hair is long now. I pull it up in a pony tail, and sometimes twist it around and put a hair clip thing in it. It is simple to style it that way. Short hair needs to be cut and styled once a month, and I don't have the money to keep up with it. Long hair is a pain when it comes to the wash and dry stuff.
Donna and Sally, I too had very long hair for many years. When I was about 30 I began to wear it up in a coil on top of my head. When I had it cut I was amazed at the absence of weight on my head!
Haircuts do cost money so I learned to cut my own hair and have been doing it ever since. When my parents were in a nursing home I also cut their hair.
Karen,
It is a good thing I did not read your post 12 years ago. I would have shaved my head to lose that extra weight.
I was walking 6 to 8 miles per day in order to eat what I wanted, then taking all kinds of water pills and laxatives to make sure the number on the scale was a good one the next day if I ate something more than I was allowed after walking.
When I went to weight watchers, I took my earrings off to be weighed.
Then I finially reached goal, and even went 10 lbs under that. I got to give a speech to the group about how I did it. My sister scooched down in her seat when she realized I was going to talk. hehe I told them to get some cats, as they really helped me when I buttered my toast , and they licked it off. I said I saved a lot of calories that way.
THEN, I said no, not really. I rebuttered my toast and ate it.
My sister was reaching the floor by now. My hair was very long back then. I have a photo of me and Freeloader, and me and Ebby in this thread of back then, and the one of me and Ebby was my original profile pic.

This is me on a Saturday night when watching the 2 grandsons lol.I've cheated a bit.
This is the only mug shot i have of me as i normally shy away from the camera.
