I've been clicking on Animal Rescue site for a long time now and have even bought some of their merchandise {a purse, jewelry, keychain, and more}. As for voting, I was voting for the group I volunteer with but it's a small group and there's no way we'd get enough votes to win. So, someone tell me about this group so I know who I'm voting for.

OK, just saw this now so will be voting for them. I will also post to FB and Twitter. I supported BLind Cat Rescue for a long time and it is such a worthy cause that if they enter again - don't know if they can - I'll support them again. Have a good day all!

As per usual I will be going to our cat/dog shelter (NO-KILL) on Saturday and Sunday morning. I take care of, clean the boxes and feed the old bods! I adore them! I have a 13 year old cat and a +-15 year old dog!

Ok! Clicked and voted again and this time I could see Cat's Cradle in 2nd place! I wonder why I didn't get that yesterday??
I kept trying to get The Animal Rescue site to send me daily reminders. There was a box to click on and I filled out my email address but I never got a reminder. I finally sent them an email and told them about the problem. I started getting the daily reminders the very next day!
I click every day too. There is another click to donate site, do you know it: they also help animals and children:

The voting for a shelter in the shelter challenge starts again in 3 days. Who are we voting for this time around?
I was just looking, and I couldn't seem to find out which ones were available to vote for. We want a cat rescue, and also one that stands a chance of winning. No sense in wasting our votes on one that can't win at all. We don't have enough voters to really pull one up. Can you point us to the page to make the choice?
After you click on the purple button there's a window that pops up that you click on to vote and it allows you to search. If you know the name of the state the organization is in you enter the state and all the organizations in that state come up. I agree we want a group that stands a chance of winning which is why I'm not voting for the Maine Coon rescue group I volunteer with, it's just too small. The only other cat rescue groups I'm familiar with are Cat House on the King which is a previous grand prize winner and ineligible for voting this time around and Alley Cat Allies and I don't think they're included in the list. I looked up Alley Cat Allies to see what state they're based out of and it's Maryland but when I click on MD which I think is the abbreviation for Marly,and there's no Alley Cat Allies. In the meantime I've been voting for Best Friends Animal Society out of Kanab, UT which does all animals but is a good group. If our group finds another organization to vote for I'll gladly vote for them.
I wanted Alley Cat Allies too , i know they are based in Maryland but it doesnt come up. Hmmmm

Julia, try freekibble.com it also gives free food for dogs and cats and you get to answer questions and food gets donated even if you answer the questions wrong. It is fun. Also try click to give.com you can choose the charity you want to help but I always choose the animal one.

Is everyone who's clicking voting for a shelter to win a large grant? We helped Cat's Cradle Shelter win last time now we can do th esame for another group. I'm voting for The Cat House on the Kings in CA this time. I get their newsletter, they do alot for cats. After you click, you'll see the little link asking you to vote, click on it and fill out the info {you don't need the city and I don't remember it anyway} entering the name of the group and the state they're in.
Have clicked and voted for The Cat House. It seems like a really good cause,so hope our votes' can help them win.
