Good Grief, time to start a new thread!  I am going to try and bring Rosie's new pics over to this one.  I want every one to see her and remember her.  Here is the link to the previous thread.

Shell I am so glad Princess P is beginning to eat better.  It is so scary when you can't get one to eat like you think they should.  I guess she knew when it was time to eat.  I hope she never has to go under anesthesia again.  That could have made her nauseous and not wanting to eat right.  You did a good job nursing her through it all.  I know it makes me very sick.

I wanted to bring a post for Rosie forward, we shall see if it works.

I just took several pictures of Rosie.  I just can't believe she has that ticking time bomb in her little body.  She has been going in and out all day.  She and Chewy have been hunting field mice.  They haven't found any yet, but I hope she does.  One good thing with Chewy for a body guard I don't have to worry about Mouse or Little Joe attacking her and both will.  Not violently but an attack nevertheless and she doesn't need that right now.  She was up in the apple tree when I decided to go get my camera and take some pics.  Of course she was down by the time I put the old battery on charge and put the other in.

The year of Rosie's heart

Rosie and Chewy 2 11.JPG

Noss and Stripes, see how nice it can be to have a good dog buddy.  But sometimes it isn't so good.  When Rosie hides so I can't give her meds, I just tell Chewy to 'find Rosie' and she is as good as found.

Don't forget if you ever want to bring something forward, I think you can.  I don't think you have to be a co-host.  Remember I am not very computer literate though.  I didn't notice how long the previous thead was or I wouldn't have posted the above there.

Rosies & chewy looking good.

Here's my 'little' Kenny.  He is the sweetest boy.  Also he is 16 years old now and that is scary but he has no signs of aging yet.  He cuddles so nicely,

Gorgeous kitties Sugar!

Sugar,  all your kitties are so beautiful, but I especially like the photos of Rosie and Chewy together - very special.

I am about to go out and fill the birdbath again - I have just watched lots silver eyes and little wrens hop in and out doing communal bathing    Hopefully will be back later.

Sugar thanks for all the pictures of those beautiful cats and dog. Mousr is of course my favorited. Stripes would be upset if he wasn't.

Hi.

Glad Princess P is feeling better. Anesthetic makes me feel awful for days. Love the pics of your kitties Sugar. I really like that first pic of Chewy and Rosie.  Rosie looks like my Esmerelda. Hugs to all the other kitties shown in the previous posts.

I started Savanna on her decongestant today. She has not sneezed as much. Keep your fingers crossed it works.

Freezing rain here this am and then just rain and high winds the rest of the day. Calling for snow tomorrow.

Time to scoop up Savanna and head to bed. Big hugs to Everyone and their babies.

Oh no!  I just posted and it vanished   And it's bedtime for me now as I am hoping to get to the Ash Wednesday service at my church tomorrow.

Ann - Savanna and Esmeralda are absolutely gorgeous.  Lovely photos too.  I find it hard to get good photos of my cats.

Teri, glad Big Mack enjoyed his ride on the wheelchair.

My cat Saki, likes to sit on rugs and be gently pulled along   It started as a game when he was a kitten and he still loves it.

Hope everyone has a good day!

All the beautiful cats.  Thank you.  I have bad news again.  Tom has his last appointment at the vet's today.  I was hoping for Spring and warm sunshine to come early so he could enjoy being on the deck for a little while, but it isn't going to be.  He has had a stroke (I believe) during the night and has trouble walking and standing now.  He doesn't seem to be in pain but at his age there isn't time to recover from this.  It can only get worse.  He's lived with me for over 20 years.  Ray's brother asked me to care for him when he had to go to the nursing home and I have.  I've cared for him and loved him.  Here is the latest picture of him.

Tom, 3 weeks away from his 22 Birthday

He has always followed me around on walks until last year when it was too much for him.  This morning he was following me around the best he could until his nap time.  I am going to take one more picture of him in one of his favorite napping places.  He has 3.  The sofa, the hassock and the kitty bed which is also Chewy's favorite place.

I may not be here for a while, God Bless all of you,

Oh Sugar,

I am so sorry. He is so sweet in this photo. He is a handsome cat.

Val,

Saki is beautiful....

Ann, both Savanna and Esmerelda are so cute.

Sugar, your black and white Tom looks a lot like my new cat Henry.

I also forgot to mention that kenny looks like he has a lot of cattitude.

Also, Val, I just finished putting peanutbutter on the limbs, and who shows up to eat it but the black vultures.

Sugar, I'm so sorry, hes a handsome cat. My thoughts are with you. 20 years is a long time. val, your cat saki is adorable. Ann, so is Savanna & esmeralda cool name by the way.

Sugar, I'm so sorry to hear about Tom he looks so great in his picture. You have taken such good care of him to live just shy of 22. You are in my prayers

You're in my thoughts and prayers, Sugar.  Tom enjoyed a great and long life with you.  I hope you will let the years of happy memories comfort your heart now.

Val, Saki is so cute, that's a great name. I can just see him sitting on the rug and you pulling him along, that's funny.

Ann, Esmeralda and Savanna are both adorable. I hope Savanna is feeling better. I don't know much about that virus. Do you know where it came from?

Sugar, all the pictures are great, I love how Chewy protects them all. He is like the leader of the pack and he is cute too  .

Good afternoon, all! Hope this finds y'all  doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Not much going on here. As I mentioned in the Book club, I received a free book yesterday as an early release {it is officially released on the 26th} and all I have to do is give it some reviews in places like Amazon and Barnes and Noble! I started it last night and finished this morning. Check out the Book Club thread for more. Nothing much else going on here, just my usual.

Sugar, I love the pictures of Rosie and Chewy! It sounds like Chewy is a great dog buddy to her {and the other cats I presume}. I hope they had fun hunting field mice. I too am glad they didn't catch any. I'm sorry that you're going thru this with Rosie. It scares me b'cuz my Osiris will be 13 next month and I dread anything happening to him as he's my special guy. The photos of Kenny and Black and White Tom are great too as is the one of Tom. I'm so sorry about Tom. I know that it's very hard for you right now and will keep y'all in my prayers. 20 plus years is a very long time to have a cat and you did something right for him to have all those years. Remember them proudly and with love.

Penny, your CB sounds like a wonderful kitty. Almost 20, that is awesome! Thanks for the thoughts on my Book club thread. It does seem to be going well, I'm glad people are enjoying it. I know I sure enjoy writing about the books I read.

Shell, sorry your car broke down. Hope y'all can get it fixed soon. Guess you'll have to take BabyBoy for his shots another time. Glad to hear that Princess P is doing better. I think it was just the anasthesia affecting her, it just happened to affect her longer than usual  which isn't all that odd.

Sandi, great to see you here.

Val, sounds like you have quite the congregation at your bird bath! Saki is a gorgeous cat! That's so funny that he likes to sit on a rug and be pulled along. Our cat {Ray's cat actually}, Kona, likes to do that too. And it's quite funny to see an 18-20 pound cat being pulled around on a little rug!

Ann, Savanna and Esmerelda are beautiful cats. I'm glad to hear the decongestants seem to be working. Will keep y'all in my prayers.

Teri, sorry to hear about your cataracts. Glad you're getting glasses. Glad also that you had a pain free day though I'm sorry to hear about Michelle's. Sounds like all your cats are doing well. Ours are too. My Osiris prefers to spend the majority of his time in our bedroom though he'll come out to the kitchen for his snacks {ham, salmon, cheese, etc} and every so often he'll come out to the living room when we're watching tv in the evenings. Rarer still are the times he makes it all th eway into the computer room. His favorite place is my lap when I'm reading in the bedroom {that's where I'm most comfortable to read}.

Donna, I agree with you, Kenny does look like he's has lots of cattitude! So, th evultures are eating the peanut butter again, hmmmm? Do they ever leave any for the other birds?

Michela and Betty, great to see y'all here.

Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

Boy, I owe everyone an apology.  And I chewed Tom out!  After all the tears and heartbreak he caused me this morning by the time I got him to the vet's office he had recovered so much that the vet asked, Why are you trying to put this cat to sleep?  He does have a head tilt which won't hurt him at all.  After I knew what had happened to him last night, I never put him down to walk until we got to the vets.  So we got a reprieve.  He has eaten, napped and right now he is basking in the sun at my feet.  I am so relieved.  Probably your prayers and wishes helped him recover.

Oh Val your Saki is gorgeous!

Sugar your poor Tom looks so trusting and loving! He knows you will always do what is best for him. Each day he has will be a blessing.

Ann, Savannah and Esmerelda are lovely girls! i love that silvery gray color.

Oh Sugar, I am so happy for you and Tom. That is excellent that he recovered so well. A head tilt is fine, it's probably kind of cute. I will still pray for him that he has no more strokes and has a whole bunch more time left with you. Give him a hug for me  .

Sugar, Stripes and me are tickled pink that Tom as okay. Maybe the prayers helped but I think your Love for him also helped. Stripes ays Hello to Mouse.  She said tell him Valentines day is coming and he's her little sweetheart. >^..^<  Teri   I've had cataract's removed from both eyes a couple of years ago, its a one day thing, I have to wear glasses for reading, but before I had to wear them for distance. I have bifocals as I have to have prims in my glasses cause I have double vision when I drive, Glad to see everyone here. Stripes is still napping. Later.

That is some wonderful news Sugar, and it took me back to my Lucky that was my leukemia cat many many years ago.  I wasn't sure what to look for, but when I saw him all drowsy I thought it was time. I went in crying my eyes out. The vet said that Lucky was simply tired and wanted to go to sleep.   I mean I let it all hang out all hysterical.....

Pukka had a head tilt after his stroke, and he also walked in circles for a while. It left as time went on, and his personality changed. He went from a miserable fighter to a cat that they all fell in love with..... Even Big Bob the cat fell in love with the new mild mannered Pukka Pukka.

Sugar...I am so happy for you and Tom. I believe in the power of prayer so who knows!!

Such beautiful cat pictures...wow!! It's so obvious from all your pictures that your furkids are happy and healthy and well-loved. If they are anything like mine, they are pretty spoiled too...lol. I had someone from the township knock on my door today to give me a notice and when I opened the door, my neighbours dog came running up the stairs and in the door. All chaos broke loose since the first cat he ran into was Savanna and she takes real issue with dogs in her house. She fluffed up twice her size and swiped that big guy right across the face. He turned tail and went charging back out the door and knocked over the guy that came to talk to me. What a circus!! Anyway, I walked him back up the road to deliver him home but just my neighbour’s teenage son was there, blaring his music.  It’s no wonder he forgot about the dog running around outside....lol.  I figure his mom will call me later when she notices the scratch on her dog’s nose.  There are drips of blood on the snow around my door.    I can't wait to see how Savanna treats my daughter's puppy when he gets bigger. Right now she just sits in the doorway and watches him when he comes over. He is roughly the same size asf her at present but at the rate he's growing, that should change by the next time he visits. He is part sheppard but he looks just like a black lab.

It’s been pretty mild outside for the past couple of days but despite that, I had another 3 or 4 inches of snow on my car this morning.  When the groundhogs predict an early spring, what does that mean in terms of time....I AM TIRED OF WINTER!!  Calendar spring is only about a month away but that doesn’t mean that the snow and cold will just miraculously disappear.  Especially if we’re not having an early spring but that isn’t a problem this year....the groundhog says so....right?

Anyway, I am going to  post this and hope for the best.  I am still losing alot of posts, both because of Care2 which seems to have a hate on for me and  the laptop, which has a mind of its own.  I hope everyone has a nice relaxing evening with their furkids

Tears of joy for you and your precious Tom!!  I am so sooo happy for both of you!

Sugar, so happy and relieved to hear the news about Tom.  What a handsome boy he is! I love ginger kitties - give him a little pat from me.

Thanks for the comments about Saki   He is named after the author, so he is a literary cat   Darla, I would love to see your Kona riding on a mat!  Saki is only about 4 kg, which is about 10 pounds I think, so he pulls around quite easily.  I call him the 4kilo cat with the 40 kilo personality.  He was at the vet last weekend - checkup and vaccination - but also so that I could learn to clip his nails.  He kept head butting the vet which made her smile.  If I get visitors to the house, he is also a very good host - he goes from chair to chair and sits on the arm by each person for 15 minutes or so.

Donna, did you put the peanut butter on the branches for the vultures?  Or did you mean it to be for some of your other animals?  I can't get over the fact that vultures like peanut butter

Sugar and Donna, my dear Bartleby who died last August had an episode of head tilting, walking in semi-circles and getting lost in corners five or six years before he died. I, too, thought he had suffered a stroke or had a brain tumor. it turned out he had an inner ear infection. The vet put him on 2 antibiotics and prednisone and in about 2 weeks he recovered!

Thanks guys.  I totally broke down, sobbing out loud, at the vet's office when I knew Tom was coming back with me.  I had been so tore up, the relief did me in.  Tom is cute with the slight head tilt.  Like he is asking a question.  When this happened to Tom, it was like all the losses I have had over the last 20 years came to a head.  Even the good things, I was just an emotional wreck.  This morning he came into the bedroom and got me up to fix his breakfast.  It felt so good.  He's been to potty and is taking his morning nap right now as is Rosie.  My life is good at this moment.

Donna, I put peanut butter out for squirrels and birds but so far no vulture has come for a snack.

Savanna, Mouse and I say you are our hero.  Keep up the good work with dogs.

Donna I remember when this happened to Pukka.  I don't want Tom's personality to change, but if it changed just enough that I could groom him I guess I wouldn't complain.  I do wish he would be more protective of his food.  He will, and always has, let others take it.

Sandi, a few years ago I had a little problem with my eyes and had cataract surgery at the same time it was corrected and the big deal is I said I did not want to wear glasses.  They get lost, they get broken, they slide down my nose and a half dozen other complaints and my eye surgeon fixed me up.  One eye is dominant for close up, the other for distance and I don't have to have glasses!!!!  It works perfect.

To everyone, thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers.  Tom thanks you too!!!

Sugar

Thanks for the info Karen,  and that makes sense too that it could be an inner ear problem. When I was at the vets with another cat I explained how Pukka was acting, he seemed to think it was toxoplasmosis without looking at him. I was standing there when he was at the picnic table eating, and I saw his one side drop down.

Sugar, Pukka went from a troublemaker to just plain sweet. The others didn't know what to do as he walked toward them, and then made his turns. Later, they got use to him. He also stopped going in circles after a while.....He lived to be over 20 and went blind...He still did pretty good while he was blind.....

Glad Tom is doing okay How's Rosie? I've had to wear glasses since the 4th grade so used to them.

Hi again.  Well Rosie hasn't had any episodes since Friday.  The vet thinks the latest med, atenolol, will help prevent them from occuring.  She is eating well, and the previous 2 days which were decent with sunshine, she spent a few hours sleeping outside out of the wind.  And we went hunting that one day.  Today is totally different.  No sun, and snow flurries!  And it's cold.  Oh well, I am still hoping for an early Spring so Tom and Rosie can be out on the deck enjoying the sun.  I think that will be very good for them.  I know it will be good for me!  And my pocketbook too.

Sandi when I was around 40 I had to wear glasses for reading and that's when I had so much trouble with glasses.  I would lay them down and never remember where they were.  Or break them.  Then something happened and I didn't need them after a couple of years.  Any way I didn't want to go through that again.  I guess if I had worn them for many years I would have gotten used to them.  I never wore them long enough.

Sandi, where can I get a valentine pic for Mouse to give to Stripes?

Good afternoon, all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. I tried posting last night but Care2 was having issues. I also had a long post talking  to everyone here but it is now lost somewhere in cyberspace. My back is hurting so I'm not up to a long post again so will do what I can. Not much going on here today, just my usual,

Sugar, you don't owe anyone an apology. I'm so very happy for you and Tom. It's understandable that you would be extremely emotional at the thought of bringing him home. All the stress of thinking you were going to lose him coupled with the extreme relief that he was going to make it was a very emotional time.

I'm so glad Rosie hasn't had anymore episodes and that she's on a med to hopefully stop those episodes.

Donna, your stories of Pukka and Lucky were cute. I guess if Pukka's purrsonality had to change, it's better to go from troublemaker to sweetheart than the other way around.

Angie, missed you, great to see you here. Does sound like quite the circus at your house what with the neighbor's dog running in like that and coming face to face with a cat who stood her ground! I can just picture that poor dog's face wondering just what the heck happened! Was the person hurt when the dog ran him over?

Val, I'll try to get a picture next time Ray is pulling Kona on the mat. Yes, your Saki is quite a bit smaller than Kona {most cats are} but Kona thinks he's a smaller cat than he is. Saki sounds like a great cat!

Everyone else, great to see y'all here.

Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

now see my friends I am at work missing all my fur babies and I'm looking at these pictures of all these beautiful delicious honies I want to cuddle and smooch. I get so happy to see them after work. I want to tell you a quick funny story... you all know I took in my sweet little Sox a few months ago. The little feral that LOVES inside now. Well, her boyfriend Mittens is still outside and so is Chester Sue my huge calico.. of course i love them desperatly. Mittys needs a vet-mange bad. I have to try somehow to trap him next. Well I made a deal with the devil over Sox-no more I swore to my husband. Next week he is going away on buisness and my son will be away 2 days-HAAAA. I said I cannot be responsible for whatever happens in their absense. Look, I know you can't save them all, but can't I just save the ones God puts on my porch??? I think I am becoming THAT crazy cat lady.

Hi Everyone. It has been a long day. Savanna is not eating much again and I am trying not to feed her too much at a time or she vomits.

Saki is a beautiful cat Val. Does he talk a lot?

I am so glad Tom is alright, Sugar.  He is very handsome. He reminds me of my Pinky Pinkerton who passed away in 2010. Glad to hear Rosie is doing well. Thanks for all the stories shared. I think most of us have had one of those moments. Kitties are precious and we always want the best for them. My Vet hates to see me coming, I can get so emotional.

Helen, crazy cat lady is not such a bad nickname. I have grown use to it and rather like it. The neighbours have a barn and they do not feed their kitties much. They all come to my house for an snack.

Big hugs to all of you and your kitties. God bless all of you for being so good to your kitties. If I missed anyone, I apologize. My eyes only take so much.

I only have a minute.  Tom is doing well.  Rosie is filling up with fluids again.  The vet has increased 2 of her meds by a third.  I am to call Friday.  I don't know what I will do if she doesn't improve by then.  I will make that decision when I am forced to do so.

I am going to Ash Wednesday's service.  I will be saying extra prayers for all cats and people of the world.  And all other pets and a special one for Rosie and Tom.

I have had a few days like that Teri.  Just hang in there, know that we are all thinking of you and sending healing thoughts and prayers.

Mouse has lost 3 posts this morning.  He is upset to say the least.  Maybe one out of the 3 will return.  Anyway Sandi, tell Stripes that Mouse has tried to send her the card she gave him.  We both hope it gets there in good shape.  I went to Ash Wednesday services last night and went to the altar and prayed to God for health and happiness for all of us.  And to give me peace and acceptance of his will for my Tom and Rosie.  I do feel a little better.

Tom seems normal, I swear even the head tilt is a little less this morning.  Rosie is still questionable, but this morning she feels better.  She has eaten a little, had a drink and has been making me chase her and playing hide and seek, her favorite games when she isn't playing with her fishing pole.  She isn't breathing any harder today, maybe even a little easier.  After she has been resting for a while, which she is doing right now, I will watch her breathing.  Tomorrow I call her vet and let her know how she is doing with the increase of atenolol and lasix.  She looks so healthy and perfect that I still have a problem believing she is so ill.

And I haven't forgotten, but HAPPY VALENTINES DAY everyone!

Good afternoon, all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Didn't get BabyFace's habitat cleaned yesterday so am trying again today. Not much going on here, just my usual. I do believe Care2 is slow at posting again today. Happy Valentine's Day!

Helen, you're so right. How can you be responsible for what happens while they're away! It wouldn't hurt the household to increase by one or two more! I don't think there's anything wrong with being a crazy cat lady. I have a coffee cup that  reads "Crazy Cat Lady" on one side while the other reads "and Proud of It!". I also have a cap that reads "Crazy Cat Lady" {other members here got it too}. If loving our cats and having more than one makes us crazy cat ladies then I, for one, embrace that.

Sandi, thanks so much for sharing the Valentine's Day pictures. I especially love the one of the 2 kitties in the cup with the roses.

Ann, glad you can be here. I'm sorry about Savanna, I'm keeping her in my prayers.

Sugar, sounds like your Ash Wednesday service was a good one. So sorry about Rosie filling up with fluids again. Hope the medicine helps. I'm so glad Tom is feeling so much better.

Teri, sorry about your appointments and your day. That's great about Mack. I'm sure he'll be completely back to normal soon.

Heather, great to see you here.

Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

Helen,

I use to pray for the same thing, and it reached a point where I  do not accept anyone's cats, but I feel as though if a cat shows up here on my property, I will take care of him or her. I first get depressed, wondering how I am going to afford another one, then comes the trap or the carrier, and then comes acceptance, and then the joy.

Hi Everyone. Sorry I can't chat.

Alice, such cute pictures!  I am also so ready for Spring and so are all my furkids.  The Spring kitty looks a lot like Black and White and the kitty in the tub looks like a skinny Kenny.  Which is how Kenny got his name.  He was so skinny when he found me that I called him a Skinny Kenny.

Teri I am so glad you had some pain free days and some quality time with Harry to discuss things.  God Bless you.

This morning things seem to still be okay with Rosie.  She ate and went to pottie.  I can't tell about her breathing yet because of those stupid, dangerous new light bulbs with mercury in them.  I told Donna earlier I can't see 's__t'  with them.  They remind me of the old days when I had to read with the light of kerosene lanterns or candles.  And I have good eyesight!  When I say okay, I mean meds are working.  She will always have this heart problem.  Tom is doing great.  I am still hoping for him to make it to Spring and has a chance to enjoy it.

I have to go, time for Rose's meds and both Tom and Rose are wanting attention.

Good morning, all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Got BabyFace's habitat cleaned last night. When I took him out of his habitat Scamp wanted to play with him but I didn't allow it as Scamp gets a bit too excited with his claws and I wouldn't want BabyFace hurt. I do have a picture of Cinder nose to nose with BabyFace that I took one time when BabyFace was out of his habitat. Not much going on here, just my usual. We have had a few days now with lows in the upper 30's though the highs are in the  70's.

Donna, all of our kitties are rescue kitties. I found Osiris when he was about 3 weeks old along with his 3 littermates. I had at the time a nursing mama cat with 4 kittens an dshe adopted the 4 I found just like that. I wound up finding homes for all of them except Osiris who was bonded to me and would not go to anyone else. Shasta was about 3 months old when we found her one night being attacked by a big tom. We rescued her and she wound up staying with us. Cinder came along when he was about 4 weeks old, I found him on our back patio in the apartment we lived in at the time. He was curled up in a little ball with my extra plant pots. Fast forward to wher ewe are now and the maintenance guys found both Kona and Scamp. Kona was first and was found on our coldest day of the year {it was well below freezing} and the guys found  him took him to their shed for th eday then brought him to us to see if we could find him a home, he was about 6 weeks old. Scamp was one of a litter of 5 or 6 that they found, I chose him b'cuz he was the only fuzzy one in the litter. Of course, we're now at our limit though my next door neighbor/friend and I feed the outside kitties.

Ann, great to see you here. Thanks for the Valentine's Day wishes.

Alice, great to see you here. Thanks for th ekitty pictures, they sure are adorable. I love the spring kitty.

Teri, glad you're having a great day. Hope the appointment with the pain management doctor goes well. I think it's great that you and Harry had a date night and were able to have such a good discussion. Really hoping y'all get that side by side.

Sandi, sorry that you're getting a cold and have a sore throat. Hope you get better soon. Love the morning kitty picture.

Sugar, glad to hear that things with Rosie are okay ~ it's great that the meds are doing their job. Glad too that Tom is doing well.

Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

Darla what a great photo of Cinder and BabyFace.  And Sandi, just wait until Mouse sees Stripes.  She is so impressive.  I think she really descended from royalty.  I'm not too sure about Mouse, but he's a handsome boy anyway.

We have had snow flurries off and on several times today, but no accumulation.  That's good.  Without any more accumulation this month I probably have enough birdseed and deer feed to last until next month, hope, hope!!!!  If it cover's the ground I'm in trouble.

Rosie and Tom are doing okay even with all their problems.  Both are napping right now.

Penny I have to agree, grey stripped kitties are absolutely the best natured along with all white.  My Pinky and Sweetie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge some time ago, but their memory stays with me.  They are the reason I always say bye...........

Alice is that your kitty sleeping in the pot? . Very cute, well not for the plant. My Olivia has done in a few plants and a small tree I brought in for the winter. She got on the branches and bounced until hey snapped. One less to water.. That kitty in the bath tub is also very cute.

Hi Teresamarie. Glad things are working out for you and your pain is under control.

Hi Darla. I hope you had a good Valentine's Day. My eyes are not great. I see your beautiful Cinder, who is Babyface; what species, I mean.. The little one looks like a turtle or reptile?

Sorry, I don't mean to hurt Babyfaces feelings.

Sandi, Stripes is one handsome Kitty. Most of my kitties are rescue or their Mother was a rescue and she had them here. I actually helped deliver the last batch of kitties. Olivia was pregnant and had 5. They came every which way, She would have died, as one came feet first and got stuck. Good thing I used to be a maternity nurse.

Hi Penny. I have had many tabbies and they were all gentle creatures. At presnt there are 3 tabbies,1 gray, 3 black and 4 black and white ones I feed outside. I am sure there are more, but I have not seen them. The food goes rather fast which makes me wonder if there are not more who are too shy to come in the evening to have a meal.

Hi Abo, nice to meet you. Love your Valentine's card.

Hi Sugar. Glad to here Rosie and Tom are doing well. Sick babies do keep you busy.It was warm here today and going to - 12 tonight. We still have a large amount of snow here.

Hi Karen. Hope you had a great day.

I took Savanna in her addias sweater, and a warm blanket, out for s walk around the garden. I think she was getting depressed about not being able to get outside. She hates the sweater, but actuall let me put it on today, without a fuss. She loves to sit and watch the Birds on the high feeder, so I held her and we watched for 1/2 hours. She is sleeping in her little bed now. The sweater has been passed down from other kitties who needed it.

Have a great evening or day Everyone. Hugs

Hi everyone!!  I hope you all had a cuddly Valentine's Day.  Bob came home last night from the city just for Valentine's Day.  We stayed up all night because he had to be back in to work by 6 this morning.  It was a nice surprise...he usually doesn't drive home during the week, especially during winter months.  It was snowing most of the day and of course it snowed all night too.  We went out at 3 a.m. to start the car and we had to dig it out.  Bob still got stuck in the driveway and it was getting pretty tense for awhile   He hates being late for work more than anything.  Anyway, we finally got him out and he made it to work with lots of time to spare.  My friend came and shovelled paths thru my yard for me today....from the doors to the driveway and to the oiltank.  Holy smokes there is alot of snow.  I walked to the car earlier and the sides of these pathways are at least 18 inches high    And its supposed to snow again this weekend...Yikes!!  WHERE IS SPRING??

What a priceless picture of Babyface and Cinder.  When I clean my turtle tank I let him putter around the floor....my cats want no part of him, they prefer to watch from a distance.  Sandi, Stripes looks like she is just full of personality!!  You can almost see her little mind ticking behind those bright eyes!

It's so wonderful that so many people are posting pictures....I love looking at them   All my pictures are on my desktop and I can only post to Care2 on the laptop.  Oh well, I'm sure things will get rectified soon.  Enjoy your Friday evening everyone....may it lead to a wonderful weekend for us all.

My cat's don't sleep in pots...they like to sleep on my bed, in the sunspace, on the good living room sofa, on my lap, or on the back patio. I have put big fluffy pillows out there for them. All 4 have many pillows to choose from.

2 of my cats like to sleep just outside my bedroom sliding door on pillows : )

Please may I ask for prayers for my "big cat" Maitland.  He is my pony friend who is quite elderly. He came to me as "free to good home" because he had been hit about the head and abused when he was younger.  He now has conjuctivites, which I know isn't a life threatening thing, but it is making him feel miserable.  The trouble is, that doing anything around his head (ie putting drops in his eye) really stresses him even after all this time.  He is a real sweetheart - has a lovely, affectionate personality, so please pray that I can get those eye drops in with - wout stressing him too much, so that I can get his poor eye feeling better.  Thanks.  So sorry to just write about him - worried

hi Val,

I know how I´ll sound to whoever, but feed him vegan...it´ ll be a change for him, but it won´ t be long till he recovers, feels better at least...there are places which sell vegan food for cats...I don´ t promise and if he refuses vegan food, it´ll be transitory, but he´ll adapt above all if hon´s eating the same, so try that, doing as if you were eating the same food he´s eating (try not just once)...can´t recall where I read that as I surf about a lot, but it would be worth trying it without giving up soon i.e. just because he doesn´t like the food...tablets and drops sure help, but whether they remove the pain for keeps is not proven whilst food once it sets and kicks in, does...goes for all kritters at least those domestic...good luck, Val !
