Hi Teri, I thank God for keeping Big Mack safely in his hands.  Over the years I have had so many little furkids who have had cancer.  Some lasted a long time with care like you are giving Big Mack and others like Bobby, who had an aggressive type that took him in a matter of a few short months.  His November check up showed no problems and then by May the following year he died.  Pudge was the last one with cancer.  It was in her jaw bone.

The weekend is almost here!  I hope the rain holds off again.  Tomorrow would be a good day to mow again.  The grass isn't too high.

  • For those of you who don't visit Mouse and Friends, Little Joe helped with the bamboo problem.  He found a small rogue shoot of bamboo and he peed on it and then covered it up.  I am going to keep checking on it to see if it dies!

What strange key did I hit to change things above?

Good morning all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Have another application to work for MCRA. I'm just waiting for a good time to start making calls so thought I'd come here first. I think I broke my little toe on my right foot. I stubbed it into our stationary bike about a week ago. It still hurts and it's swollen. So, I've got it wrapped with some first aid tape. Took care of my roses this morning and fed Black Beauty, one of the outside cats. My cats are all good. I got my free cat shaped magnet! It's really cool. I put a picture of Kona in it that I had. Not much else going on here, just my usual.

Donna, sounds like you did good with the 2 week old kittens. Nothing wrong with bottle feeding them 'til they were older. When we got Scamp we got a jar of kitten formula and he drank that out of a dish he wouldn't use the bottle. He was between 3.5 and 4 weeks old. I think I gave him milk every 3-4 hours and fed him canned kitten food as well as some moistened kitten chow.

Teri, you're an angel for taking on all the kittens and cats. However, you're right in that it's hard to find homes for them that will treat them right. Glad you had a good day. Did you stay in or go get the mail? Glad to hear all your cats are good especially Mack. It's great that he's doing so well and fighting the cancer.

Sugar, thanks for starting us off with a new thread. Hope the rain holds off for you. How helpful Little Joe was being to take care of that rogue bamboo shoot for you! Wouldn't it be cool if it died?!?!?

Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

Sugar, maybe Little Joe is the secret weapon to get rid of the bamboo. not much going on here except first day with no rain keeping fingers crossed, got the yard mowed finally. good to see all here.

Oh Darla, I'm so sorry for your sore toe.  Shouldn't you tape it to the toe next to it?  I think that is what docs do.  Speaking of toes,  Kenny is cleaning my toes right now.  He loves to rub, nibble and lick my toes.  He really has a toe fetish!  He just came in, he said it is tooooooo hot outside.  He is stretched out on the cool kitchen floor,  happy as a bug in a rug.

Mouse is in the basement which also is very cool.  Punkin with her long hair is still outside.  I don't know how she does it.  Did I mention I bought a harness and leash for Wosie?  We used it last night and she did quite well for the first time.  I put it on here in the house of course and she laid down immediately.  I picked her up and carried her outside and she did great.  Well she doesn't walk as good as Chewy, but she really enjoyed it.  She nibbled on a lot of grass.  I want her to learn how to get in the house if she should ever get out on her own which could happen.

Sandi I hope Little Joe pee is a bamboo killer!  I could maybe bottle it and sell it.  I can't imagine how he knew to do that, just perfect aim.  I will let you know.  Later tonight when it gets cooler I will check it and tomorrow morning.  If it's still there, out comes the shovel.  It can only be a little piece of root that has broken off.  I don't want it to grow!

Laura, its a good day for your uncle Danny.  His surgery is behind him and now he has you and your mom for help for a few days.

Hi there Sandi, cute puppy picture.  I sure do recognise the bamboo!  I have cut the whole patch down as of last year, but new little sprouts show me where the underground runners are and those are what I am digging up now.  There's so much and you don't know it's there until you see that little green shoot coming up.  Right now next to the creek bank there is some up to my waist.  It is dry enough now that I will be able to reach it hopefully without slipping into the creek.  Tom, my old baby that is gone now loved the bamboo patch. That's why I didn't tackle it until he was gone.  He went down there every day weather allowing and took a nap there and watched for mice.  Oh, Little Joe pee didn't kill the bamboo so I guess I won't bottle it and sell it.  Later today I will get the shovel out and get it out.

Teri you are a very busy person.  I don't think I could keep up with you.  I bet Michele will be so glad to get back home to you and Harry and all the furkids.  Especially the new ones.  Are you going to have a big birthday party for her 18th birthday?  I remember my 18th.  No party, but I was working on the job already that I held for 30 years.  I wish our country was more like those days.  Times were a lot better.  Food was a lot better too!  You could buy porkchops with fat and bone and they were so good.  Remember the pork roasts?  With bones and a light covering of fat on top?  Now they are hard to find but these dry, boneless, fat free pork loins which require a ton of herbs and spices to give them any taste is everywhere.  Oh well, you have to live with what you have.  I'm just remimising about the good old days

I saw a news item on Fox news yesterday morning about your home and how you decorate it.  That is one of the other things that has changed.  I have my home as I like it, not as someone looking to buy it would want it.  I've lived here a little over 35 years and I love the way I have it and don't care if someone else would like it or not!!  I can't imagine living in a house that wasn't my way all these years.  One of my friends who lives in an upscale neighborhood constantly gripes at me for allowing the jungle, which I love, all around me.  I wouldn't live where she does.  Her home would qualify for a spread in Home and Garden but mine is me.  I have always wanted a log cabin, does any one reading this have one and how do you like it?  And what's your setting like?

I agree with you Sugar, my backyard looks like a jungle too and I like it that way. We have  people in the neighbourhood that are out there with their sprays and shovels trying to get rid of everything that isn't grass, not me. They probably don't like my dandelions but I don't care. I have always wanted to live in a log cabin too, my grandparents started to build a log house the whole structure is there but not finished inside yet, now they are selling it and the 100 acres around it, it is too much for them but the house is beautiful.I love the pictures of your yard it is right up my alley. I always hear you talk about your back 40 and we have that too we take leaves, branches and such and put it back there and it is a great place for many animals to live. Good luck with your bamboo it's too bad that Little Joe's pee didn't kill it.

Teri,

I got a call this morning from my friend to tell me that it was on the news that Splenda raises blood sugar. I am NOT throwing all my spenda out. I will try the truvia and  if I like it I will make the change.

Good afternoon all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Have an MCRA application up for vote right now. Also had anothe rone I was going to work today but I got an e-mail from her asking me to not process it b'cuz she found four baby kittens who were dumped by her house. She's going to foster them then get back to me. I entered contests for several authors today hoping to win free books or Amazon gift cards. My plants are mostly still wet from the rain so I haven't watered them today. At least not yet, may check them later. Not much else going on here, just my usual.

Sandi, great to see you here. Love the picture of the adorable puppy in the bamboo.

Sugar, yes, another friend who has broken her toes in the past told me to tape my little toe to the one next to it. I've been trying to do so but the first aid tape we have isn't sticking so it keeps coming off. Ray has to get more tape. It does feel a bit better when it's taped. So, Kenny cleans your toes? How cute is that. It's great that he's happy on the the cool kitchen floor. How cool that your harness training Wosie! I'm glad she's taking to it. Yes, it's good that she knows how to get in just in case she ever gets outside by herself. My daughter had a harness trained cat named Romeo. She had to have him put to sleep several months ago du eto some cancer with neurological problems {he couldn't walk}. He was a wonderful cat ~ a gorgeous silver tabby. I'm with you on decorating to suit my taste not someone else's. While I live in an apartment and not a house I still decorate to suit me and not what others think I should be doing. If I had a house, I'd do the same and yes, my yard would probably look like a jungle! I had a roommate in college whose parents lived in a log cabin. It was great.

Laura, glad you had a great day. Hope your Uncle Danny's surgery was a success.

Betty, great to see you here.

Teri, glad you went to the mail and found your sweaters along with a check. It's great that Harry had a surprise deposit. It's always nice to have money come in that wasn't planned! Hope y'all are able to go on another date. Yes, it'll be good that the newborns will be older with their eyes open and moving around on their own before Michelle gets home. That way she can handle them as much as she wants. I'm glad that Mack is doing so great. Sounds like you have one busy Friday planned.

Michela, I like dandelions as well and if I had a house and was blessed with them, they'd stay no matter what anyone else though or said. Sorry your grandparents had to sell their log house and property.

Donna, sssorry to hear that it's reported that Slenda raises blood sugar. We use stevia and it's pretty good.

Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

Morning or I guess its afternoon now, surprise its not raining at the moment, got the yard done and some weeds pulled. I've lived in my home since 1976, its the way I like it too, even if the back yard is a mess its my mess at least. you couldn't eat off my floors but you can take your shoes off or leave them on doesn't matter, my house is lived in sugar good luck with the bamboo bless little joe he tried to help. Donna thanks for the information on  splenda, I was told to stay away from anything that had asparm can't spell it in in .

What a cute puppy!

We were there until this morning, Sugar. He is doing really well.

It sure was, Darla. He was doing really well this morning. Eight more days until Mom and I are off to Europe.

Michela I also put cut stuff out for birds and little critters to make homes.  I had a million and one sparrows living in some cut branches last year.  I might have exagerated a little.  Also I use it to hold soil from washing away in the creek.  Oh, I wish I could buy your grandparents place, but impossible.  I do love where I live though.  A friend I had not seen in 20 some years visited here just last week and loved the setting.  He said my house fit here perfectly.  And it does.

I looked up Truvia, and  there is about 1% of Stevia in it.... I was hoping for better. I  was hoping for the pepsi to be healthier, but there are 2 other ingredients in Truvia that don't sound too good.

Darla, I tried some packets of Stevia at my friends house to put into the ice tea, and I had to put around 4 or 5 packets in it to make it sweet. I would use 2 at the most of splenda.

I know about the aspartame, but I can't seem to want to get rid of my pepsi.

Bottle babies I can't enlarge any pics to copy out of my album.

They just turn into a blank pic with an X....

Geezer on the left was my largest kitten. That is Willy on the right, and

Spitfire and Vondi are not in this picture, but I will find them. Most of you already saw them 100's of times.

Hello everyone, I have been popping in reading, Sugar, sorry your bamboo , wasnt finished off, at least the cats are trying to help you, I agree with you, your house is where you should feel at home, your haven.

Darla sorry you have broken your toe, , tip strap your broken toe with a soft dressing first, around your broken toe, keeping it,- as much as possible in it's usual position, and then put a smallish bandage around the non broken toe, taking that toe, to the broken toe, then strap the toes together, the idea is, to keep your toes as comfy as poss, with the least amount of movement, make sure you have a comfy supportive shoe, then when poss rest your foot, putting it up , hopoe it soon feels better, you need to keep an eye on it, if it constantly hurts, go see your gp.

Donna, thats bad news, I use splenda, wonder what canderelle is like?

Hello Sandi, your house sounds like mine too, we all like to be clean and comfy, not cleaning all the time

Terri wow, you will have quite a few cats, glad Michelle will be back soon, you will need the extra hands lol

Laura glad your having a good visit, hope all ok ?

Well I am tired , I had to do reports, but just before I started work, we had a drama, luckily , Buni was asleep , Mini, was out, Eric was asleep on the sofa, because, Jimi came into the living room, with a bird, still on the branch he was caught on, Mick and I couldnt believe it, the bird wasnt moving, and had dropped a tiny grub, it had been eating,

I was shooing Jimi, Mick went over to the bird, when it suddenly flew around in panic, well Eric instantly woke up, Jimi, went to chase it, but I caught him, then grabbed Eric, put them both in the kitchen, we then opened the windows wide, and the bird took off whoosh , threw the window  up and away. what a relief.

I have ordered lots of toys for the cats, and a water fountain, they get bored having to come in at 8.30pm, I have a lazer light, that they go mad at, chasing the red dot, they love it, but it wears my arm out, it does calm them down though, they chase it for half an hour, then chase each other, after that they have a drink, bikkies and are ready to sleep, Jimi is waiting for me to go to bed now, so I had better make tracks, will pop back tomorrow let you know what they think of their toys, love and hugs to you all xwendy kxOH Shell glad the info about the kitten was useful, I added the links to the info for all thread, how is the kitten doing?, forgot to say hello to Betty , Angela Nenon , hope you are all ok and Lynn too xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

MANY people are having problems with the pictures in their Care2 photo albums.  There's a very long thread concerning this issue in the Care2 Feedback and Suggestions group:  http://www.care2.com/c2c/groups/disc.html?gpp=187&pst=1707581.  I am among those with this problem.  Not all, but most, of my pictures/photos are gone.  Yes, the small thumbnails are still there, but I can't enlarge them for posting.  Is Care2 tech working on this issue?  They "supposedly" are, but I'm not too hopeful that this problem will ever be solved.  Yes, photobucket is a alternative.

Good morning all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. I watered my plants this morning and fed Black Beauty, the outside cat. Ray calls her Black Scamp b'cuz she looks a lot like our Scamp except for being black {Scamp is grey}. Black Beauty doesn't have ear tufts though. I've got 4 cats in the computer room with me. Cinder's in the computer chair while I use my walker as a seat, Shasta's lying on a box, Scamp's on the weight bench, and Kona's got a spot on the floor. Not much going on here, just my usual.

Sandi, glad your home fits who you are. Love the picture you posted.

Laura, I'm sure you're excited about your trip. I hope y'all have lots of fun. You'll have to tell us all about it when you get back. How's your uncle?

Sugar, it's great that you put out cuttings for the birds and other animals as well as to help the creek. Glad your friend liked your place. Sorry you've been having trouble copying/pasting your pictures from your Care2 albums. I haven't had any problems doing that {knock on wood} but I can't add any new photos to my albums.

Donna, sorry the stevia wasn't sweet enough for oyou. I don't think I noticed much of a difference when we made the switch. Guess it's all in the taste buds. Your kittens are beautiful and adorable.

Wendy, I've been keeping my toe taped to the toe next to it as someone who has broken several toes told me to do. It feels better when it's taped. Thanks for the information though. Your thoughtfulness is much appreciated. Wow, that was quite the drama. Glad you caught the bird and released it. We have a laser pointer too and our cats love it as well. I usually let Ray play with it with them as it tires out my arm and hurts my back {I broke my back between the shoulder blades}.

Teri, glad you got everything done that you needed to. Sounds like you have some busy days coming up.

Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

Betty, your post wasn't there when I began mine. Thanks for the link. Hopefully Care2 will address this issue. Sorry you're having problems with your photos not enlarging. I'll have to check mine.

Good morning everyone!!  I'm just drinking coffee and waiting to see if the sun comes out today so I can maybe cut some grass.  It has been a very hot few days with some crazy thunder storms but it seems cooler today.  I was out plucking weeds in the garden but the mosquitoes were having quite the feast on me so I thought I'd come back inside for awhile.

Bandit just scared the crap out of me....we have a cat condo that we bought for Savanna years ago.  It is downstairs now, out of the way.  The cats sometimes use it for a scratching post but I haven't noticed anyone sleeping in it for years now..  Well I just walked by it and Bandit reached out and swatted my shirt on the way by....I must have jumped half a foot.

There was another bad bunch of tornadoes last night in Oklahoma and all the way over to Illinois.  I hope you are all safe if you are in the vicinity.  I can't even imagine that kind of devastation.  We had a tornado touch down last week and it tore the roof off a barn, tore up a bit of cropland and knocked out the power.  I also went to help out in the next town when they declared a state of emergency a few weeks ago because of the flooding and these things were bad enough for the people concerned.  I couldn't imagine my whole town getting destroyed....this weather is getting crazier every year it seems!

Anyway, I'd better get to cutting some grass.  I hope I can come back and read some posts later on; I feel like I've been neglecting things but this time of year is so busy!!  I am thinking of you all....have a wonderful Saturday!!  Purrs and headbutts to the furkids!!

well bed calls, and have to cut the grass tomorrow, although I have a sneaky feeling, Mike (my son's  friend will be here to do it ,> the one I spoke of before, who stayed with us a while) so I might  be able to sort all the letters out, and burn all the old ones in the fire pit we have, and any other rubbish , that is not compost, or recycling, nice to sit by a bonfire with a glass of wine, when it's dark. so chat soon, oh lovely flowers Sandi sorry nearly forgot to say thanks, love and hugs to all xwendy k x, Buni,Jimi,Eric and Mini

Good afternoon all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Woke to thunderstorms this morning. Just what we needed, more rain ~ not! My poor plants are going to drown what with all the water they're getting. Have Shasta {on her box}, Cinder {on the printer}, and Scamp {in the window} in the computer room with me; Kona just left after dumping over the trash can and tearing up some papers he found in there. Osiris is in the living room waiting for me to get off the computer. Not too much else going on here, just my usual. Well, I got up for a minute and Cinder stole my computer chair!

Angie, hope you have a warm day without any thunderstorms. Sorry about the mosquitoes. That is too funny about Bandit scaring you! Yes, Oklahoma got hit again with tornadoes. Very tragic and sad. It's great you volunteered in the next town. Hope things get settled there soon. Also hope you get your lawn mowed.

Sandi, thanks for the flowers, they're beautiful. Enjoy being outside.

Donna, we use Stevia Cane and it comes in granulated form just like sugar. And it definitely does not taste like licorice. Ray says to check the ingredients b'cuz some brands come with a percentage of sugar. You're welcome, regarding your kittens.

Laura, yes, do take lots of photos though you'll have to ask th eothers how to use photobucket. I think that's what Sandi uses. The way I did it may or may not work for you depending on Care2. You download photos into your photo albums on your Care2 page. Once that's done you open th ephto album and click on a picture to open it which makes it bigger then you click copy and go to wherever you're going to post and click paste. {I've found photos in Bing let me do this as well but not photos on my computer} Of course, as you may remember reading above, several people are having problems with their photos not opening and I can't download photos into my album.  Well, now that I've talked your ear off so to speak with what may be useless info, ask Sandi how photobucket works and maybe try that as well. Enjoy your trip!

Teri, glad you had an awesome day. I'm glad y'all were blessed with cats and kittens. It's great to know you feel blessed to have them. Will you be getting the mama kitties spayed when they're done nursing? Do y'all have any intact males there? B'cuz they can get pregnant when they're nursing. It happened to me once. We found a great water fountain dish on Amazon and my daughter got it for us. It's called the Drinkwell Platinum Pet Fountain 168oz. You can go to Amazon and type in "cat water fountain" and it's the second item that comes up. It's $43.59 right now and comes with the first filter. Amazon sells the filters as well for six or seven something. The fountain runs like a water faucet would and our cats love it. Hope the party for Michelle goes well.

Wendy, yes my toe does seem to be on the mend. Thank you. I'm sure the bird was frightened. Huh, cats is quite right. I don't have to worry about birds or little critters b'cuz my cats are all inside only but they do catch the occasional insect. Sounds like Jimi gave you quite the scare too! How funny! I'm sure it goes over well with others. It sure would be nice if Mike {I do remember you mentioning him and with my memory that says a lot!} cut the grass for you. Let us know whether or not he did so. Hope you get that bonfire and a glass of wine.

Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

It was very good, Wendy. The bread that they served was really good. We're back home now. We left early this morning to get to Fort King Tennis center here so Mom and Dad could play tennis and I did all my Care2 stuff there because they have fast internet there.

I sure will, Darla. I have a Nikon Coolpix s8300. The memory card is so good that I can take upwards of thirty four thousand and some pictures, but I haven't gotten the far yet. Maybe I will in Europe. I also got an extra memory card for this trip.

Good afternoon all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Finished up an application I started on Friday for MCRA. Also did several e-mails and placed a phone call for MCRA. When I went outsideside this morning my friend next door was outside early putting out food for the outside cats. Peaches, a beautiful little tortoisehsell cat, was over there eating and Black Beauty came running over to me so I fed her on my side of the porch. Got my mini roses watered this morning but the rest of the plants are still damp from the rain we had so didn't water them {it was my regularly scheduled watering day}. Noot much else going on, just my usual.

Laura, glad y'all got to the tennis center so your parents could play tennis. Sounds like you have a great camera and lots of picture taking ability! That's awesome!

Teri, I'm so sorry to hear of Mack's passing. Y'all have my deepest condolences. It's great that Mack passed surrounded by so much love.

Michela, Sugar, and Betty, great to see y'all here.

Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

Teri sorry about Mack's passing, he was dearly loved.....Hugs to all.....

the kitten is doing very well, eating like a champ, quite full of energy....very good friend of mine is taking him when he gets just a tiny bit bigger. probably about another month. I am going to try to post a pic of him see if it works and u all can tell me how old u think he is. Kiki is going to be neutered and his first shots and his fiv/felv test exactly 1 wk from today. he is still kind of wobbly but making very small steps getting better, he's had to relearn how to walk all over again after the head trauma he endured. His sight is mostly back but i think its distorted. He is very slowly regaining his trust in people again, but still very fearful of kids, dogs and men.

Teri, sorry to hear about Mack going to the rainbow bridge, glad you were with him. My beloved Bandit, Smokey Joe & Miss Missie Mo all went to the rainbow Bridge while I was at work so I never got the chance to say goodbye. They all lived to be at least 16 years so they  knew they were loved.    I'm tired so going to bed early. nite all.

Teri I am sad about Mack.  Keeping busy and remembering all the good times will help ease the pain of his passing.  Yesterday I finally removed Tom's and Pudge's beds.  I cried, but I know they both will approve of my giving their beds to kitties that have none.

Shell, that is the cutest little kitten!  All are the cutest little kittens!  I would guess him to be 5 weeks old.  He is looks to be about the age that Susie was when I found her sitting by the road watching cars go by.  When they are rescued at that age and given love they become a loving and loved companion even more so than those rescued as Mouse was at around a year.  They become a part of you.  That little face profile is just like I remember Susie's.

All take care,

Sugar, thank u for your guess estimate on his age. this lil 1 was running right for the road, his eyes were gooy and really couldnt see so he was headed for the closest noise i guess but the loud vehicle were scaring him so he stayed in the weeds in a lil patch of trees. If i can get the lil stinker to stay still long enough i'll try for a face shot of him. But he doesnt stay still for long....At first when we brought him home he was not used to being handled and would make lil hisses at people when they came in, but after a couple days of touching him now he runs right for us.

Good morning all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Watered my plants this morning and fed the outside cats, Black Beauty and Peaches. Osiris woke me up this morning at 4:30 b'cuz he was hungry so I've been up ever since. I figured it'd be a waste of time to try to go back to sleep since the alarm would go off at 5 anyway. The application I finished up for MCRA yesterday will be done with with voting this morning at 11:45. She'll be approved! Have an appointment on Friday with my psychiatrist. He promised if I was still stable this time that the appointments could be scheduled further apart. It's been 2 months since I saw him last. Not much else going on here, just my usual.

Karen and Maura, great to see y'all here.

Shell, glad to hear the kitten is doing so well. He sure is a cutie. I would also guess him to be around 5 weeks old {Sugar beat me to the punch!}. It's great that you already have a home waiting for him. Does he have a name yet? It's wonderful that he's gotten used to being handled so quickly. He sounds adorable. Also glad to hear that Kiki is improving. Kiki must've had some bad experiences with kids, dogs, and men. I'm sorry but I can't remember what you said happened to him.

Sandi, sorry your kitties passed while you were at work. I'm sure they knew they were loved.

Laura, great to see you here.

Teri, you're welcome. Yes, staying busy will help you deal with the loss of Mack. So will remembering the happy times with him.

Sugar, so your other cats didn't use Tome's and Pudge's beds? Yes, they'll approve of your giving the beds to kitties without any. We don't have cat beds. However, we do have a comforter laid on the floor in the computer room that Scamp lays on, a blanket folded up and put on the floor in the living room that Kona lays on, and a pillow that Kona pulled off my side of the bed {after seeing how hard he worked to get this full size pillow off the bed I let him have it!} that's placed on the floor beside the bed that all the male cats {that's 4 out of 5} take turns laying on.

Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

I had a fun day today, Darla. I had a very short walk around Vincinte's farm because it was raining, but I did get to see Byron. I had my Rosetta Stone Studio session and it was fun. Four more days until Mom and I go to Europe. We are still packing. I also watched my favorite show, The Borgias, after lunch. Have you ever seen it?

Dear Friends. For personal and mainly family reasons, I'll be leaving groups, slowly. I'll still have my page, and receive and send messages; write me whenever u want. I'm sorry for that, but that's what it has to be done, unfortunately. Hugs, Sun on your paths. Nenon.

WOW i have missed alot

Teri what can I say, I was so sad to read Mack crossed the rainbow bridge, we all here empathise with you, we truely understand how you feel, for me I am so glad he went with you all with him, he had the best love and care , especially when he needed it most, he isn't in any pain now, and wouldn't want his favourite people to be either, he is with all the others purring contentedly, the other side of the bridge, I swear if you listen hard you will hear him purring, his purr will ease the pain of missing him, yes he is gone--but not forgotten, just like all our furbabies who's time it was to cross that bridge. Enjoy the new furbabies they will lift your spirits love and hugs xxxxxwendy k xxxxx

Shell so glad the kitten is doing so well, adorable photo, makes me want another kitten , lol but nope got to stick to 4 cats

Darla you were up bright and early, I had a lie in this morning, lovely lol, Buni joined me for a cat nap, purring away, he loves it when I have a lie in, he has been out and about, so he checks in to say hello , the bed looks so comfy he flops down behind my knee's he loves to lean on me , when he is on the bed, he curls up and doesn't move till i have to get up, that half an hour is his time !!!

Mike did arrive to cut my grass, he loved his sunday lunch, I invited him and his girl for a meal , so he said ok in 2 weeks so I can do the grass first . The flowers we planted last year are now in flower, lovely yellow and purple ones, cant remember what they are, but I am going to get some more, they have done so well , with all this wierd weather.

Hope you get on ok on friday and you have less appts, always good when that happens.

Sugar that's a lovely way to re-use Tom and Pudge's beds, are you still as busy with your garden ? how is the bamboo? I have ivy at the side of the house and it has gone like a triffid, my husband is under orders to get up a ladder to trim it off windows, and shed , before we are engulfed by it arghhhhh   lol

Sandi lovely card, good to remember, think I wil send a card to everyone, earn some money from sponsers to causes

Angela hi , see you are as busy as ever, I am thinking about you honest lol while I sit here in the sun , in my jama's (haven't bothered to get dressed today)--> , in the garden with the cats, my laptop, a book , coffee and rocking on the garden double seat, ahhh now this is the life .

Laura  3 days left , ? hope you finished your packing?

Nenon sorry hope all goes well, family first, good luck x wendy k x

Hello Betty Michela, Karen Maura hope you are all ok ? and furbabies are well ?

Well going to put tea on , oh I bought the cats some toys, dont know who was more excited, they have tunnels, which they love, especially Jimi, he hides in there away from meanie Mini, also they have a puzzle thing they have to put their paws in to knock out a treat, then two tracks with balls in, now Mini loves that, and a water fountain, which they are not sure about, i put it all out at the same time, i couldn't wait, they investigated and went out, so i left it all out, they have played, but their fav was the catnip chews, so will get some more to keep a supply, >guess their next fav?

the   empty boxes !!!!! Huh Cats, chat later love and hugs xwendy k x

Hello to all, I hope everyone is having a great day  .I took Teddy to the vet yesterday for his annual and it looks like he is going to need a tooth pulled ( a molar at the back) it seems to be rotten, that makes me sad he's already been through so much but I guess these things happen at 18 years old. We may also start him on a new treatment for his arthritis he has been limping and he is already on pain medication 3 times a week and they can't increase it because it would be too hard on his kidneys. So they are doing some blood work and they are going to get back to me today or tomorrow for a course of action after the results.

Nenon, I'm sorry that you will be leaving. I hope that everything works out for you and can return soon. Best wishes to you and your family.

Angela, sorry that your head is pounding, I hope it goes away very soon, but you are right the rain gives you a good reason to stay inside and do computer stuff.

Thank-you Sandi for the World Enivronment Day picture it is cute.

Laura, I hope you get all your packing done. It sounds like you will have a fabulous trip and we will look forward to your pictures.

Shell, that little kitten is so adorable, I am so happy that you were there at the right time and scooped him up before he ran into the road. So glad that he is doing better and that you all ready have a home waiting for him.

Teri, I hope that you and all the kitties are doing well.

Darla, I forgot to tell you that I got a water fountain for all my kitties and they love it. I left it out for a week with water but not running so they would get use to it and then I turned it on they were a little afraid at first because of the slight hum of the motor but now all 5 are using it. I also bought some extra filters so I can change them when needed. I hope your appointment goes well on Friday so don't have to go as frequently. Your work with the MCRA sounds very busy but that's good. hopefully it means lots of kitties are being adopted.

Hi Sally, I'm glad that you and Noss are ok after your earthquake that would be scary.

Hello Wendy, thanks for the link to the natural mosquito repellants I will definately be trying some as those as the little buggers love me when I am outside.

To everyone else, have a great day.
