Once again it's time to start a new thread. Please go back and check out all the beautiful pictures in the previous thread. Here's the link ~
So sorry the pictures shrank to that little box ? they were for sharing, and were lovely pics, never mind, will look for more to share later, I was going to ask you Darla to delete the little squares drat !! no need now theres a new thread x wendy k x & kelly cats xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Wendy, sometimes pictures just decide to not show up here for some reason. You're right. No need to delete them noow as we do have a new thread. Now we just need some pictures poste here. Hint, hint everyone!
Not sure if I already shared the red ginger flowers I have growing around here but decided to post it.
I just love my day geckos here and couldn't resist taking a picture.
Sally I love the Ginger blooms. They remind me of our Cannas. This year I plan on taking care of my flowers and herbs. The last few years, I guess because of Ray, I just didn't bother. I'm excited now about the idea. Hope I can keep that excitement. I am going to start small this year, with the three small beds I have and see how that goes. And did you paint that pretty orange design on the day lizard? Just kidding. You live in paradise for sure. In Kentucky they have some lizards that live in stone walls and things. I don't think we have anything like that in our state. Except in houses in terrariums. I don't know why, but I really like lizards. I don't appreciate snakes though.
Hey there Ashley!
Sally, the red ginger blooms are beautiful and I love the day gecko!
Ashley and Sugar, great to see y'all here.
LOVE the geckos! And I always love seeing pictures of your flowers, Sally. The red ginger flowers are really beautiful.
Thanks guys. I love the lizards we have out here and yes, better than having snakes. I find the day geckos are pretty with their bright green color and pretty designs on them. Here is one of my red lilies in bloom now.
Sally, beautiful lilies!
Penny, great story about the moose!
Penny, I have never seen a moose in real life only pics and on tv. Are they bigger than a horse?
I guess it would depend on the moose Sally...females are smaller than males but I'm pretty sure a bull moose is bigger than a horse. Their antler racks can span 5 feet!! I don't go hunting so I've never been super close to a moose but close enough to see how massive they are.
Sorry to jump in on the question Penny!!
Thanks Angela. I know sometimes they do wander into towns but they say to not bother them as they can be dangerous.
Actual truth...You can drive a car under the belly of a full grown bull moose. I have seen them this large. They area very scary sight up close.
Thanks Gary for that information. I guess they are larger than I thought. Wow!
Ok guys, remember my bromeliad type air plant that had a long bud coming out. I think it is finally blooming some small pink flowers. This is the first time in years that is has even bloomed anything. Here is a pic.
Sally those little lizards are so cute! I would watch them too but I really don't need anything else to watch! Because it is hard enough to get things done that need doing with all I watch right now, But I would love it!
Can't wait to see your bromeliad reach the final state of blooming! Looking forward to a pic!
Sally, your bromeliad blooms are beautiful and I love the little lizards! I also would love to watch them and I'm sure my cats would as well.
Angie and Gary, thanks so much for the information on the size of moose. Gary, that would be a sight to see, a car driving under a full grown moose. That's huge!
Sugar, great to see you here.

Now you can see why my cat, Noss, loves to sit by the screen there and watch those lizards. As for the bromeliad plant, not sure if it will open any further but keeping an eye on it.
Very delightful, a splendid Gecko and lovely colourful flowers.
Sally, yes, we can see why Noss loves to sit there and watch the lizards.
Dale, great to see you here.
Sally, all of your flowers are so beautiful and great to see at this time of year for some of us that don't have any flowers because of winter. The gecko and those little anoles are so cute, I can imagine that Noss could sit there for a while and watch them. Thanks for posting them.
Sally love all your posts, I missed this thread , don't know how?? I will visit often to look at the photos, love the geckos and your description of how they are hanging out, on the bucket.
I will post a short vid clip of a squirrel, just before giving birth to her kittens, doing a grand job building a cosy nest, then the clip shows the kittens up to when they see the big wide world, this is for sqirrel "Awareness Day"
Yesterday was "Penguin Awareness Day" I will see can I find the vid clip I posted for penguin day yesterday and add it afterwards, (at the moment I can't add text to an embedded vid clip, so thats why I have explained before hand, thats my next lesson ) so next post, squirrel and babies ahhhhh x wendy k x kelly cats xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Michela, great to see you here.
Wendy, love the picture!
Thanks Wendy K for posting the Newborn Squirrel Video it so reminded me of when I raised 2 newborns myself. I shared it on Pinterest to my board there on squirrels & told about it. Too long to tell here but this is a link if you'd like to read it: . I'm trying to toot my own horn your video just just strike such a cord with me that I had to share it. Thanks So Much For The Memories!!!
wow I love your flowers Sandy , and the cute little reptiles. Here in Norway we have lizards the only time I really seen them is when my cat used to catch them and take them inside the house.. my moms cat trutle loves Vipers she takes their head of and leave the rest out on the porch so my mom can watch the proud cats spoiles ( unsure if I wrote that correct!)
I hope you all keeps sharing those lovely photos
Kyra, welcome! How cool that you once raised newborn squirrels. Your link didn't show up though.
Missy, it's Sally's flowers and lizards not Sandi's but you're right, they're fantastic. Love your snow pictures. Trulte is a beautiful cat.
Hi Missy! Long time since I seen you here. Trulte is a beautiful looking cat. Those pictures are great. I can understand how your harbor is now.
Well, for that bromeliad type flower I took a pic of here. I think that is all it is going to do, seems like the little pink flowers on it has dried up and the whole bud part looks to be drying out.
Trulte is delightful.
Very lovely videos and photos seen here.
I am restlessly waiting for Spring, since the other day the wind chill at times got down to -35. Then one can look at sparkling water again.
