Welcome June 24, 2005 11:07 AM

I noticed an add in a magazine today for the Pacific Leatherback Sea Turtles that said: 100,000,000 Years Old with the 0,000,000 crossed off and the word "left" written in...(10 years left) and my throat knotted up. This is the reason I created this group. There is an official website for this cause located at http://savetheleatherback.com which this group isn't linked to but that doesn't mean that we don't care as much! And by all means if you are an official member, welcome, and tell us more! Please help us and others save the Leatherback Sea Turtles from extinction.  [ send green star]

Thanks, Harmonia. I have just seen your invitation and I am delighted to join. I looked up the website and sent the letters, adding my thoughts. Yes, what a dreadful crime it would be to allow the extinction of these animals.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

anonymous Some leatherback information June 27, 2005 1:27 PM

Hi, here are some resources I gathered. The network messaging is giving me errors, so the message I sent to you, Harmonia, probably never got there. Please move this to wherever you like, feel free to edit or delete any you don't want.

Thanks for the invite, Harmonia.....I have signed and sent the letters.  Bush cares so little about human life that I don't think he will help in saving the turtles....but stranger things have happened, right?

Peace and love, Marsha
