WE can focus on the negative and descend into a spiral of negativity
and gloom. Or we can choose to look at what's right in any given
situation, and become a beacon of love and joy.

We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others,giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in numbers, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms---to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances...
~~~Victor Frankl
Gratitude not only draws people to us, but it helps us keep rhose who are in our sphere. When we see the glass as half-full, rather than
half-empty, we notice what is there rather than dwelling on what is not. When we notice what's there we get out of our self-absorption
and realize that there are people around us, many of whom have
done wonderful things for us. And when we express our gratitude
for their presence in our lives, it's more likely that those people will want to continue to be around us.
"Gratitude is ours fo the taking, but not to be taken for granted."
~~~Elizabeth Espersen

Keep em coming!

Life will give you pain all by itself.
Your responsibility is to create joy.
~~Milton Erickson, M. D.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns
what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order,
confusion to clarity.... Gratitude makes sence
of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.
~Melody Beattie

Gratitude births only positive feelings---love,
compassion, joy an hope. As we focus on what
we are thankful for, fear, anger, and bitterness
simply melt away without effort.

Gratitude creates happiness because it makes us feel ful, complete; gratitude is the realization that we have everything we need,
at least at this moment.
